Shut Up, Go Away

They need to invent a pill and use mouth restraints on this idiot.
In the midst of a career spent covering and consuming news, it has become painfully apparent to me that I am presently too much a part of the news, due to my actions.

As Managing Editor of NBC Nightly News, I have decided to take myself off of my daily broadcast for the next several days, and Lester Holt has kindly agreed to sit in for me to allow us to adequately deal with this issue. Upon my return, I will continue my career-long effort to be worthy of the trust of those who place their trust in us.

I never trusted him in the first place, or anyone else who works there.

This ordinarily would not have the legs it got were it not for how liberals treat conservatives who make mistakes: when a conservative makes a misstep, regardless of how insignificant, the left pig piles on that poor schlub until the guy's gone. That's their MO. It's what they do.

Now one of their own has stepped in it, and the conservatives are just not going to let this one go, not by a long shot. Since Lyin' Brian is the face of NBC, which is the face of liberalism, it's now like blood in the water.

Let the feeding frenzy begin. What goes around, comes around. Karma. As ye sew, so shall ye reap. Whatever, same concept.

Suck on that, Brian.

Liberals think that office demands trust. Conservatives think that trust must be earned. Lying to the public doesn't necessarily hurt liberals, because their mere ideology protects them from condemnation from others.
