Pence, the former governor of Indiana, was invited to speak after Notre Dame students and faculty protested the prospect of President Donald Trump being invited to become the seventh U.S. president to give the commencement address.

An Alabama fan gave Crimson Tide nation a bad name on Tuesday when he drunkenly crashed his truck into a ditch, got detained at gunpoint by a civilian, arrested, and then busted with a stolen gun — which fell out of his butt at jail, cops said.

“It happens,” joked Sheriff Mike Blakely, of the Limestone County Sheriff’s Office in Athens.

Jesse O’Neal Roberts, 23, was taken into custody early Tuesday morning and charged with public intoxication, carrying a concealed weapon without a permit, promoting prison contraband and receiving stolen property, according to police.

The Dems are screaming that Congressman David Nunes could face an ethics investigation for spilling classified intel beans.

... it appears that the chairman may have opened himself up to an ethics investigation by apparently disclosing the existence of a foreign surveillance warrant during a press conference last Tuesday.

Of course it's all a diversion from the real scandal, that Obama's deep state was peeking up Donald Trump's skirts.

According to the Conservative Treehouse, a former Obama administration official, Evelyn Farkas who was Deputy Asst. Secretary of Defense, appeared on MSNBC and admitted to Mika Brzezinski that she possessed first hand knowledge that the Obama administration spied on  Donald Trump’s transition team to gather 'intelligence' for political use.

Once sweet Evelyn opened that can of classified beans, she couldn't stop herself from boasting:

I was urging my former colleagues, and, and frankly speaking the people on the Hill [Democrat politicians], it was more actually aimed at telling the Hill people, get as much information as you can – get as much intelligence as you can – before President Obama leaves the administration.

Because I had a fear that somehow that information would disappear with the senior [Obama] people who left; so it would be hidden away in the bureaucracy, um, that the Trump folks – if they found out HOW we knew what we knew about their, the Trump staff, dealing with Russians – that they would try to compromise those sources and methods; meaning we no longer have access to that intelligence.

This is what happens when you put a forty watt bulb into a light fixture that clearly requires 100 watts.

Apparently Ms. Farkas was one of the sources for this New York Times article that revealed more classified intel bean spilling:

“More than a half-dozen current and former officials described various aspects of the effort to preserve and distribute the intelligence, and some said they were speaking to draw attention to the material and ensure proper investigation by Congress. All spoke on the condition of anonymity because they were discussing classified information, nearly all of which remains secret.” 

Sure, I seem to make light of intel beans, but this is deadly serious stuff. People go to prison for decades for these kind of offenses. Apparently these Obama administration light weights didn't have the sense to realize the position they were placing themselves in and relied on political protection from any legal/criminal consequences. We'll see about that.

Drug Dealer Suicide Prompts $1M Settlement

This is ridiculous. A narcotics smuggler dies from ingesting his own poison and his family gets a million bucks.

Cruz Velazquez Acevedo began convulsing shortly after he drank the liquid methamphetamine he'd brought with him from Tijuana, Mexico.

The 16-year-old had just crossed the U.S.-Mexico border to San Diego and was going through the San Ysidro Port of Entry. He was carrying two bottles of liquid that he claimed was apple juice. U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers told him to drink it to prove he wasn't lying, court records say.

The teen took four sips.

Then, he began sweating profusely. He screamed and clenched his fists.

However, the next few paragraphs are music to my ears.

In a matter of minutes, his temperature soared to 105 degrees, his family's attorney said. His pulse reached an alarming rate of 220 beats per minute — more than twice the normal rate for adults.

"Mi corazón! Mi corazón!" Acevedo screamed, according to court records — "My heart! My heart!"

He was dead about two hours later.

Hoist on his own petard, so to speak. Let every drug mule suffer the same fate.

Chicago Gangs Go For The Gold

You can't say that the Chicago gangs don't try harder. They certainly don't rest on their laurels. As Chicago strides towards perhaps an all time record breaking year for mayhem, gangs are gearing up for the gold. These hard chargers are bringing semi-automatic rifles into play in the big event, free style homicide.

The first time 14-year-old Brisa Ramirez remembers hearing rifle fire was when a man was shot dead on a Sunday afternoon outside a Catholic church around the corner from her home in Back of the Yards.

She raises her voice to imitate the sharp, metallic bursts. Ta. Ta. Ta. Ta. Ta. It was a foreign sound even in this neighborhood accustomed to gunfire.

"It wasn't like a normal (shooting). … It was like something more terrible," Brisa says. "A noise that you can't really explain."

Soldiers know the different sounds when an AK-47 or an M16 is fired. It's something that a 14 year old inner city youth should never hear much less recognize.

The shooting was one of at least 33 in Back of the Yards and Brighton Park over the past nine months that police believe are tied to semi-automatic rifles as several gangs boost their firepower. At least 46 people have been shot in the attacks, 13 fatally.

Police say this is the only area of the city where rifles styled after AR-15s and AK-47s are regularly used, a menacing new development in the gang fights.

It's unclear how many of the high-powered rifles are on the street, but police suspect they are being passed around by members of four Hispanic gangs in the Deering police district, which covers parts of the South and Southwest sides.

Military grade rounds are much more powerful than a handgun. This upgrade in firepower presents an increased threat to innocent by standers as the round has much greater range and penetration. If this trend continues, expect to see a higher rate of fatalities and woundings of persons who simply are in the path of a stray round.

I have personally collected dozens of nine millimeter casings at the scene of a single shooting incident. If .30 caliber rounds were used instead, there's no telling how many people could have been shot.

Bullets fired from a US military style rifle have a muzzle velocity as high as 3000+ fps and can penetrate a window or wooden residential wall hundreds of yards from the actual scene of a shooting. While handgun rounds vary greatly, suffice it to say that a projectile fired from one of these rifles has at least twice the range and lethality of a handgun.

A 5.56 mm round fired from an AR-15 (civilian version of the M-16) can travel about 4,000 yards but has an effective range of perhaps 400+ yards. The AK-47 fires a 7.62 X 39 mm cartridge that employs a heavier bullet (122 gr versus 55 or 62 gr for the M-16) and a muzzle velocity of  2300+ fps. But like all weapons, lethality is determined by the person holding the firearm.

And these maniacs are using weapons like this in a densely populated urban setting.

Yeah, Boycott This

My wife loves to do her grocery shopping at the Wegman's store in Fairmont. She has shopped there for over 35 years. I used to made jokes about her frequent visits to her boyfriend in the produce section. Yup, three or four times a week.

It is one of the cleanest, well stocked grocery stores in the nation. The staff are courteous, helpful and friendly. Since Costco moved in it also stocks large quantity items like cereal, paper products, etc. And it's prices are pretty good. In fact, it has been listed as the best grocery store in America. And with a rep like that you don't want to mess with loyal customers.

It also stocks Trump wine which pissed off the moonbats who of course called for a boycott.
It didn't work with Wegman's customers, not one bit.

The 9th Circuit Court just realized it stepped on its collective dick. A sua sponte motion (a motion not made by either party but by a judge all on his lonesome) was filed by the Court to reconsider its dick stepping decision this week. Perhaps this time they will choose interpretive pole dancing instead of Constitutional law.

Additionally, the full ninth are asking the Trump administration to file an additional brief telling the court why the three member original appeals ruling authority was wrong. In essence, the smart judges know what wasn’t considered, and are now looking for an out.

You just can’t make this stuff up.

The Justice Department was asked to submit another brief in support of its case; it appears as if they may ignore it. Trump doesn't have to do a thing but let the Court stew in its own juices.

Manitoba’s Criminal Code Review Board announced Friday it has given Will Baker, formerly known as Vince Li, an absolute discharge, meaning he is longer subject to monitoring.

Baker, a diagnosed schizophrenic, killed Tim McLean, a young carnival worker who was a complete stranger to Baker, in 2008. A year later he was found not criminally responsible due to mental illness.

The crazy SOB can waltz over here anytime he wants another "snack."

I wonder if the Snickers people will use him for one of their commercials.

He WIll Not Incite Us

Shia LaPoof just had his live stream "He Will Not Divide Us" protest shut down because of violence. Also a factor was the number of idiots that were entering the NYC museum that hosted the camera; it violated the NYC building code that restricted the number of assholes that could enter a not-for-profit premise.

he Museum of the Moving Image in NYC says it turned off the cam mounted on one of its walls because it had become a "flashpoint for violence." Shia was arrested on January 25 when he allegedly got physical with a protester who showed up to oppose the movement.

There had been other physical altercations where no one was arrested -- with and without Shia -- and NYPD started patrolling the spot regularly.

Higher Minimum Wage Equals Lower Number Of Jobs

A candy bar sells for about a buck. Double the price of a candy bar and you won't sell as many. You don't have to be a rocket scientist to realize that as you increase the price of a service or product  without a concomitant increase in the value of that service, the demand for that service will decrease. And that is what is happening with the drive to increase the minimum wage to $15 an hour. The number of entry level jobs will decrease.

One of the most vexing economic issues today is the minimum wage. For many, the failure to raise the minimum wage to $15 or higher is a sign of our nation's stinginess and an essential part of the fight for income equality. However, the truth, sad to say, is quite different, as a new study shows.

The study by the American Action Forum, a nonpartisan think tank led by former Congressional Budget Office Director Douglas Holtz-Eakin, looked at minimum-wage hikes scheduled to take effect in the coming years in 14 states and the nation's capital and found they will "cost millions of jobs across the country and each lost job only leads to total wage earnings rising by a few thousand dollars."

The reason is simple: When you raise the minimum wage of low-skilled, low-productivity labor — a group that disproportionately includes young minority males — you inevitably destroy jobs. No business will hire someone and pay him more than he's worth.

And thus it always is with liberals trying to curry favor with voters. They ignore basic truths to remake the economic universe in their image. Of course the consequences of their ignorance is always blamed on someone else. They'll scream that jobs for young minority males are disappearing because business owners are greedy white men who exult in their white privilege and ability to oppress yada yada yada....

Robert M. Gill is getting reacquainted with his jail cell after he crashed into another vehicle when fleeing from police following an alleged drug deal in San Antonio on Thursday.

The 68-year-old's original life sentence was pardoned by President Obama but now he could face up to 40 years in prison for possession with intent to distribute 500 grams or more of cocaine, according to Bexar County police.

Forty-Seven Years Before The Berkeley Riots

I guess I started my law enforcement career during the Kent State riots in May, 1970. I was a junior and volunteered as a student marshal walking the Syracuse University campus at night. Riots? After the first night of arsons and vandalism it was a joke.

The male students took their sleeping bags and girlfriends to the quad and screwed all night. There had to be hundred of them all over the quad. The sleeping bags reflected their activity as they slowly crept along due to their frenzied motions inside the bags. The student marshals called them “inchworms”. Posers and tools made speeches and the student body took a holiday.

Rich kids made a big fuss to get out of taking final exams and liberal professors agreed to pass/fail grading for all protestors. Students staged "die-ins" and laid down in front of classroom entrances.  I took great pleasure in stepping on them as I made my way to class. I was now paying for my education out of my own pocket and I was damned if these idiots were going to prevent me from getting my money's worth.

Bill Clinton’s general counsel when he ran for president, David Ifshin, was a classmate of mine running around the campus in a red bandanna and Che t-shirt. What a tool. That same year he was in Hanoi cavorting with communists accompanied by another traitor, Jane *spit* Fonda.  The only truly noble thing he ever did was die at an early age from cancer.

My dad lost his job in late 1969 and couldn’t help me financially any more. I was already working at several part time jobs so in July of 1970 (2 months after the riots) I got a job with the university campus security and worked full time as a patrol officer on midnights and went to school full time during the day. As a university employee I received six remitted credit hours per semester and that's how I managed to stay in school. In August of 1974 I joined the Syracuse PD. I got to know the supervisor in charge of the police intelligence section who was the brother of one of the officers I worked with on campus. I asked him about the riots.

The Intel supervisor, Sgt. Mannie Leone (now deceased), told me the Syracuse University student riots were due to the efforts of outside agitators. The PD had undercover cops infiltrate the meetings and saw what was happening. I worked with these cops after I graduated from the academy (top of my class) and have pix of them when they were undercover. You’d never know by looking at them - wild looking guys.

The most sweeping change in the new statute -- elimination of mass graduate school deferments -- will not go into effect until next year. If more deferments are granted, they are expected to be restricted to scientists or engineers.

Many students planned to stay in college forever to avoid the draft. Throw in some KGB funding and you had a perfect storm of assholes spoiling to raise hell.

The East Bay Times, for example, asked Tuesday: “What’s behind the spate of recent Bay Area restaurant closures?” It barely mentioned new minimum wage laws, brushing them aside as if they were largely insignificant.

It doesn't take a Ph.D to realize that paying a high school drop out $15 an hour to cook french fries is not a good business plan.

In the Name of Humanity We Refuse to Accept a Fascist America!” reads a full-page ad placed in the New York Times last week by the group Refuse Racism. "Donald Trump, the President-elect, is assembling a regime of grave danger," the ad says.

"Millions of people in the US and around the world are filled with deep anxiety, fear and disgust. Our anguish is right and just. Our anger must now become massive resistance – before Donald Trump is inaugurated and has the full reins of power in his hands."

Other Hollywood celebrities who have also joined the campaign, however, are calling for an all-out strike that would span the entire movie industry in the hopes that such a move would urge the President-elect to resign from his position as the newly elected President of the United States.

Please do this. The Donald will be devastated by your actions.
Go on strike and deny us the benefits of your marvelous talent.
Teach us a lesson we'll never forget, like what a bunch of self-centered douches you are.
