The Pope Doesn't Know When To Stop Digging.

Catholics need a Pope who tends to the things of God and keeps out of politics.

This is the man that the Pope just called an "Angel of Peace."

Story here.

Abbas is no better than a terrorist. He uses the Palestinian Authority to maintain an infrastructure that supports murder and mayhem. More on that here from the publications that the PA issues.

I just hope there is enough of a church left, when he retires to queer island or wherever, to revile him as a black pope. Or at least enough history left to be time to do the same. The church is listing, if most others have capsized and are actively, purposefully, taking on water... and it ain't holy water.

Just know one thing, if all churches go lamestream, you are it. Well, and we are seeing again, again, why authority cannot be trusted. Live and learn, or relax and burn.

Sig, I am pleased you posted on this as it drew my attention immediately when I first heard this.

It does not surprise me in the least coming from this current elected pontiff.

However it does offend me as a human being of the Christian Faith. I was raised as a Catholic but no longer am a member of that organization due to such outrages.

It is beyond my term of "outrage" that this leftist has uttered and am sure believes and all that claim to follow the Church should dismiss him outright!

For surely this proves the seat he holds is not only open to fallibility but rather promotes it, being it is not Gods' choice of leadership but rather that of man.

I thought I might never see Revelations in my time, but with this,,,,,,,?

Chris - the measure of a Christian, IMHO, is whether or not you name is written in the Lamb's Book of Life. Doesn't matter what religious affiliation you make. Jesus knows His own.

Sig, Late on this but I was not measuring, although that is my trade, but rather noticing - as an observer, from experience mind you.

Ones entry into the 'Book of Life' matters on how life is lived by anyone's individual life has been IMHO.

If a pontiff goes against the grain so-to-speak (ie Not Gods Work) then is that not living as one promised, or , lived?

Chris - sorry. I'm late getting back to you too.

One's acceptance of Christ's sacrifice for sin is the only thing needed to eternal life. Faith comes before works and faith is a gift from God.

Scripture is very, very clear on this; it tells us that we cannot earn our way into Heaven, lest we could then boast that we saved ourselves by living a righteous life. Salvation is God's Work, not ours, and He is the only one to take credit for it. We then live a righteous life because we wish to obey Him out of love and gratitude.

I was listening to podcast recently about the "End Times" from an Eastern Orthodox priest (of blessed memory) recorded years ago. He said that he believed the end is when the Church becomes apostate. I would have never believed it could come to that, but he may be right. Looks like that day is coming.

Sorry Anam- you got shuffled off into spam for some reason. We have no idea when that day is coming. But once the rapture occurs, those who are left need to read Matthew 24. It is a survival guide for the end times.
