You know the one in front. The satanic troll on Pelosi's left, the one who resembles something from Goya's Black Paintings is Rosa DeLauro of Connecticut. Rosa is fanatically pro-abortion, even supports partial-birth abortion, but when she campaigns among her Catholic constituency around New Haven she circulates pictures of her young self in her Confirmation dress. I haven't seen these pictures but I hear they smell bad.

The white-haired load is John Larson, also from Connecticut. Larson leads the House Democratic Caucus. He fancies himself a Ted Kennedy look-alike, and he's been playing that role here in Connecticut for years. If you filtered all the charm from Harry Reid, added in the mental capacity and integrity of Alcee Hastings, and dressed the result up in the uniform of a college frat pixie from 1963, you have John Larson.

- Putin has just finished butt-f**king our inept Secretary of State. He's pleased with our descent into suicide.

- Israel is searching the planet for an ally. Obama has recently signaled his willingness to plant US troops in Israel in order to form and defend a Palestinian terrorist state.

- The Tea Party has whined and stomped, but not one traitor was hanged, not one building was burned, not one Marxist elected official was branded with an ear-to-ear slice. The nation was murdered to the sound of whimpers, not bangs.

- Around the world, every one of America's enemies can celebrate knowing that they have a friend in the White House. Who will pay for the massive crippling deficits? The military. But, rest assured that the Unions will be just fine.

I want to vomit.

On this day when I've witnessed the rape of the Constitution and the belittling of patriotism, I thank God for men like Rhod. I apologize to Rhod and all the heroes who fought, sacrificed and died to maintain this experiment in God-given liberty. It fell through my fingers. I lost it on my watch. May God forgive all of us for what is to come.

Waiting for Godot ...

or a Democrat to save the day. Well, Bart Stupak has caved, I guess. Did any one really expect to see the Demos really do something good for the country when the chips were down? Demo pro-lifers? Give me a break.

As for me, it's not about taking back the House/Senate; it's the country, stupid. Repealing this is going to take a lot. Plus, Obama has the keys until 2012, at least. Now, he'll get his foil (likely Republican majorities) to run against.

But hey, all you who wanted to teach us a lesson, bankrupt the country, and put our national security at risk ... mission accomplished.

This is what happens when the Demos/Left/Same Things are allowed to run the country.

This is the alternative. The alternative to Republicans is not perfect governance.

The alternative is the Democrats.

Quite a day ahead

Today we'll witness victory or defeat. Grassroots Conservatism will have won an historic victory, or we will have witnessed the death of our nation at the hands of of pure evil.

Religious or not, pray today. Pray for your country. Pray for your parents and neighbors. Pray for your children. Get on your knees and pray that the Traitors feel the rope tightening around their necks.

Obama’s Summit On Islamic Entrepreneurship

The White House announced that on March 5th it was convening a “Summit on Entrepreneurship” as part of President Obama’s outreach to Muslim nations. The conference is scheduled to take place April 26-27 in the nation’s capitol. White House spokesman Robert Gibbs said, “The summit will highlight the role entrepreneurship can play in addressing common challenges, building partnerships that will lead to ‘greater opportunity’ abroad and at home.”

Were this notion not so dangerous, so ill-conceived, and so inappropriate, it would be humorous. How ridiculous that we call our adversaries to our nation’s capitol to share with them the concepts, ideals and principles that our young citizens are defending with their lives against some of them in Iraq and Afghanistan? This Summit is an insult to our soldiers serving in the Middle East and to our unemployed citizens at home who are unable to find jobs.

Yet it is part of Obama’s grand strategy for telling Islamic nations that he loves them, even when they spit in his eye and kill Americans. He forgets that one of the things necessary for evil to triumph is for good men to act naively. Like many well meaning but deceived people in America and Europe, he thinks that if he treats Islamic nations with sweet reasonableness they will become his friends and brothers. He deceives himself and those of us who look to him for direction.

A wise Muslim leader once counseled that, “No matter how much you Americans help us and no matter how desperately we need your help when we are in trouble there can never be a marriage between us, not even a romance. In the end, you Christians will always be infidels to us Muslims.” Instead of taking this cautionary council to heart, Obama has chosen to prostrate himself before the Islamic world and its leaders in hopes of making friends with them. It won’t work; his pro-Islamic policies will fail and he won’t become their hero, nor will he be ours.

Instead of being rewarded by the Islamic world for his obeisance, Obama and the United States have actually lost global standing in their eyes. Even more disquieting is that here in Obama’s own country both Democrats and Republicans believe that the nation is on the wrong track and that the American people were safer under President Bush than they are under President Obama.

Part of the loss of the people’s faith in him is due to his unwise decision to close the military prison at Guantanamo. Additionally, the American people do not support his decision to prosecute Muslim terrorist suspects in civilian courts in New York City. One of those benefiting from his shifting trial venues is the mastermind of the Sep 11 bombings, Kahlid Shaikh Mohammed who is responsible for planning the killing more than 3000 Americans.

Obama’s promise of “greater opportunity” for those attending the Summit is to help them create “jobs”. Well, America’s small business entrepreneurs desperately need help in establishing new businesses and growing them to their maximum potential. This is not the time to be diverting the federal government’s attention and resources into teaching Muslim nations how to establish and grow small businesses so they can successfully compete with and displace American workers and products. If any jobs are to be created, if any businesses are to be birthed and grown, if any products are to be produced, it should be in the United States where the unemployment rate is 10%!

If Obama really wants to convene summits on entrepreneurship he should first convene some for American entrepreneurs -- including Blacks and Hispanics -- teaching them how to create flourishing businesses during this time of economic down-turn. But no, Obama’s focus is not on helping struggling Americans get jobs and establishing businesses; it is on catering to and helping Islamic nations, some of whom probably support al-Qaeda and its efforts to kill Americans. No doubt some of those who attend Obama’s conference will be gathering intelligence for al-Qaeda to use against the American people. Obama may not be a practicing Muslim, but at his core his actions are Islamic.

He says that his purpose in convening this summit is to facilitate a “new beginning,” a rebuilding and refurbishment of relations between the United States and the Islamic world which were allegedly destroyed by President Bush. It is part of the “blame America” and “blame President Bush” tactics which Obama uses to successfully avoid taking responsibility for those things that undermine and threaten the nation’s foreign policy and economic health.
Obama’s scheduling of the Muslim entrepreneurship conference was cleverly manipulated so that it made no waves in the press and so that the U.S. Congress would all but ignore the announcement. If Obama’s track record is any indicator, the Summit will result in as much opportunity for Muslim nations as Obama’s current “jobs” bills now provide to Americans.

The Shame of America - or is that Sham?

Our founders must be spinning in their graves watching what’s going on in Washington. The efforts of men like Adams, Jefferson and Hamilton are being slashed to pieces in order to force unpopular legislation through. The safeguards built into the legislative process are being sidestepped in the name of expediency. You could say our Republican form of government was being slaughtered.

Bill Wilson’s Daily Grind, an internet publication which comes to my email, had a political cartoon summarizing the mindset of Democrats in congress, specifically the suggestion by congresswoman Louise McIntosh Slaughter (D) of New York, to do away with voting on the health care bill and simply say it was approved so it can move along. The fact that such an option has been seriously discussed and might be used is beyond the pale for folks who took an oath to uphold the Constitution of the United States.

Moving right along with underhanded political strategies intended to sidestep the legislative process, a process put in place to protect liberty and freedom for as long as the sky is blue and rivers flow to the sea, a means to regulate the powers of congress from within; enter Harry Reid and the nuclear option , also called reconciliation, to force health care reform down our throats.

The health care reform bill has yet to be finalized and they want an up or down vote on it. They claim that once Obama signs it, any issues which might need fixing can be dealt with later.

My father in law was a carpenter. The old rule governs equally as well in other areas; “Measure twice, cut once”, applies to legislative issues. If they couldn’t get it right the first time; what makes anyone believe they will even try later, once they’ve gotten their way?

“But, because Democrats passed a full health reform bill in December with 60 votes and are only proposing to make changes to that through reconciliation, it’s easier for them to argue that those changes are simply about making the bill fit the overall budget.”

That wouldn’t be so bad if the changes made had anything to do with the budget; however, the changes made have to do with major issues such as abortion, mandatory enrollment of businesses and individuals to health care through legislation. In other words individual liberties are being destroyed under the guise of saving money; that’s not a budgetary issue and doesn’t qualify for reconciliation.

Over the years I’ve seen this kind of political tomfoolery from both sides of the isle; the idea that winning at any cost justifies the methods used. I’m sorry; but the blood of patriots spilled on battle fields to protect individual God given rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness deserve better than the likes of Slaughter, Pelosi, Reid and Obama’s determination to eradicate the free market systems which supply health care and its associated insurance paths. These folks are intent on destroying an individual’s choice by having government mandates when it comes to health care and other areas of life.

It won’t be long before the Declaration of Independence, Constitution and Bill of Rights will be taken off display; they will only be painful reminders of how it used to be. In their place will be empty frames, much like the promises made by congress to uphold these sacred documents and what they stand for.
