The Remington Model 1040 Long Form

Coming soon to an audit near you.

More Hope n' Change on the way folks.

The IRS has placed a bid for sixty of these Remington Police shotguns. I guess the quail and grouse are becoming very aggressive once they receive the audit notices.

The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) intends to purchase sixty Remington Model 870 Police RAMAC #24587 12 gauge pump-action shotguns for the Criminal Investigation Division. The Remington parkerized shotguns, with fourteen inch barrel, modified choke, Wilson Combat Ghost Ring rear sight and XS4 Contour Bead front sight, Knoxx Reduced Recoil Adjustable Stock, and Speedfeed ribbed black forend, are designated as the only shotguns authorized for IRS duty based on compatibility with IRS existing shotgun inventory, certified armorer and combat training and protocol, maintenance, and parts.

Submit quotes including 11% Firearms and Ammunition Excise Tax (FAET) and shipping to Washington DC.

"Speedfeed ribbed black forend"

Everyone knows the Catholic Church issued a Papal Bull forbidding the use of these things.

Because tax cheats can become difficult to handle.

That's not your daddy's shotgun cowboy. Do you know they can shoot tear gas slugs with this thing.

I mean I want to cry after doing my taxes this year, but I don't need the extra help.

Sig... The 870 12 gauge is a standard at my house. For varmints, of course.

LL... When they say April 15th, they MEAN April 15th.

Bill, that adjustable stock can make either coffee or tea.

BungaBill - Years ago we used Ithaca Deer Slayers. I liked the Ithacas because you could hold the trigger down and jack rounds into the breech and they'd fire. Light off five rounds in under three seconds. Good time on the range with those.

Nickie - here in za Fortified Bunker we use classified armaments, likewise dedicated for varmint suppression and eradication. The body armor drill is still employed here - two in the K5 and one in the head.

That 870 action has been around a long time! I remember carrying one of those around many times when I wore the uniform. The ones we had were nowhere as cool as these! Another gummit agency out of control and proof positive that there ain't enough money in the bin to pay for all those phony votes, so they gotta use force to GET the money.

60 shotguns is not out of control spending.

My guess is that they have an enforcement unit. Maybe they serve warrants or go after the moon shiners!

Why do they need 60 shotguns to handle tax cheat Geitner?

They are also hiring another 800 - 1,000 revenue agents this year. That won't be enough. An even larger segment of the economy will be driven underground as people seek to escape exorbitant taxes and fees.

Look at the spending by Government Gone Wild! and figure how they are going to collect all that dough they're pissing away.

You're also gonna see IRS armored personnel carriers, IRS main battle tanks and IRS cruise missles.

I had a friend who was an IRS Special Agent. I'd buy him lunch and he'd go along on search warrants. No, the IRS didn't have a case against the bad guys and thus IRS rules didn't allow him to say anything. (He looked like Ichabod Crane from the "Legend of Sleepy Hollow" -- a cross between a stereotypical undertaker and a vulture.

So he'd just stand there wearing his IRS raid jacket. People freaked out far more with the presence of the IRS than they did because we were there actually searching...

The IRS was the agency that ultimately bagged Al Capone. They are useful to law enforcement in that regard. But they are only interested in the big dollar hauls. It is all about scoring "revenue" and the good v. bad guys battle for the most part does not enter the picture.

Wow. They're gettin' serious about their pigeon hunts - erm, their auditing of tax cheats.

Think of the enormous draw down on the deficit if the IRS is dissolved. No salaries, no health insurance, no pensions, no shotguns, no expense for audits and tax courts, no mammoth computer rooms, save a gazillion trees, no jail space needed for tax cheaters.

There is nothing redeeming about this organization.

As Rush said today (I think it was Rush) next they'll send the military to do this job.

Yet another armed "law enforcement agency" with which to oppress The People.

More El Dorados... More Wacos... More Ruby Ridges...

And more Oklahoma Cities!

Violence begets violence.

It is a sad day for our nation.

If you simplfy the tax code and make it fair, you won't have the enforcement problems and you won't need as many agents to go after the cheats.

Hand in hand with that - make the government stop pissing away our tax dollars; people don't mind paying taxes so much if their money is spent responsibly.

sig94 said...

Anon - money is the life blood of government. Take away tax revenue and the gov't withers. The IRS will come with everything they've got in order to force compliance.

Folks, you got obama's picture on the front page again? And it's over top of Ronald Reagan ?

Need I say more.

If you stay real quiet and listen real hard you can hear the sound of the Black Market growing.

Sig's words (above) should be taken very seriously by the states' rights groups who still have fiscal secession on the table. The IRS (notwithstanding any other agency) would rather see Texans (or anyone) dead, than to ever let states' rights arguments go that far.

Oh and Sig ... don't even think we missed the Catholic reference, either. some of us (like me) only LOOK like a doofus.

They just might need them.

As you all know, Form Irs 1040 is single most important IRS Federal income tax form. Form 1040 has variants as well such as 1040EZ or 1040A etc. However, you should know which 1040 form I use. You Must File Form 1040 by April 15 2010 to avoid any interest or penalties for late filing your tax returns.
