The Porcelin Unicorn
Philips Cinema has a very cool filmmaking competition. All you have to do it watch the 5 shorts of the Parallel Lines Series then come up with your own 3 minute alternative using the exact same dialogue.
The entrants were given freedom of expression and could take up any theme they wanted. There were two strict rules:
(1) The dialogue could be precisely six-lines (as it was in the Parallel Lines films), and
(2) entries could not exceed three minutes.
This video won the Philips Cinema Grand Prize as well as an award at the Cannes Film Festival.
Warning ... get a handerchief ready.

Oh the humanity,,just where has it gone?
We are all at our core human and we know it as well so where do the problems exist,,governments to and including our own sadly.
This does not by any means exclude man made religion as well as they all have abandoned Faith.
When one embraces true Faith of any so called religion, then they see the face of humanity of which they see their own.
Again, just where has humanity gone?
Terribly, just terribly I submit awry.
Magnificent !
Chris - my FIL liberated some concentration camps during WWII. He never really talked about it and I never pushed him for more information either. All he would say was, "Those poor bastards."
Odie - that was my reaction also. Sometimes those people do manage to get it right.
