Seal Team 6: Why I Had To Change My Heart Meds

I am so utterly sick of the way the mass media protects Chicago Jesus. The scandals are non-stop yet he cruises from one vacation to another, from one round of golf to another without a bleat from the 1st Amendment Idiot Children who staff newsrooms all over the country. My blood boils and I have to step back.

Many of us have heard the back story behind the loss of Seal Team 6 on that ill fated helicopter. Congress is finally acting on behalf of the grieving families but I have no confidence that the Republicans will shed any tight on this. Too bad George Zimmerman wasn't involved in that fiasco, then maybe the government would get off its ass.

Read Arnold Ahlert's article on this in Front Page Magazine:
In a story that has remained largely under the mainstream media radar, Congress announced late last month that it would finally investigate the Aug. 6, 2011 helicopter crash in Afghanistan that resulted in 38 deaths, including 22 members of SEAL Team 6, made famous three months earlier when they killed Osama Bin Laden. Grieving family members insist that soldiers in the elite unit were placed in unnecessary danger by the recklessness of the Obama administration, whose actions they characterized as criminal. “We’re going to dive into this,” said Rep. Jason Chaffetz (R-UT), chairman of the House Oversight and Government Reform subcommittee on National Security.
Biden shoots his mouth off and identifies that particular Team in violation of just about every security protocol there is, the flight recorder is "lost," the soldiers' bodies are cremated eliminating any chance of an autopsy and the families are being stonewalled by the Administration.
[...]the families want to know why their sons were flown into a hot combat zone in a helicopter made in the 1960s. They want to know why such a large group of SEALS was put on a single aircraft and why no aerial backup was deployed, which is standard military procedure when special forces are involved. And they want to know why, during a funeral ceremony held at Bagram Air Base in Kabul, a Muslim cleric was allowed to recite a prayer condemning the American “infidels” to eternal damnation.
Another two years of this jackhole in the White House and I'll need a pacemaker.

Yea. Start having some fun and hiding the money. That's my latest plan anyway.

as a former ARMY Paratrooper i follow, or at least try to follow military happenings closely.

people are always pissed when their loved ones die, and usually rightly so.

remember how pissed off pat tillmans family was when he was killed? sports illustrated did probably the best article on that incident. the ARMY was wrong to trot him out as a hero, true. but the alternative would have been to tell the truth, which is he was a hot head according to the SI writer. tillman stood up IN THE KILL ZONE. case closed. we salute tillmans service, but you can't violate murphy's laws of combat too often and expect to survive, to wit; friendly fire isn't.

CH-47 chinooks are used in asscrackistan because they are able to haul heavy loads to high altitudes, such as the mountains of asscrackistan. many aircraft have older manufacture dates, but have been through several series of upgrades during their service lives.

i have doubts about the official story of the bird being shot down, and wonder if it was not brought down by an ANA soldier who was possibly on board with a homicide vest or other bomb.

in either case you can understand the administrations reluctance to say what really occurred. the admin wins if HEROES die, not troops due to fuck ups.

If Bush had done what has been done over the last 5 years, there would be riots and cars burning in the streets because of the outrage.

Call your BS. Rem who schedules this shit. Not the politician in office but the congressional appointed Secdef.
I thought you guys would know... But that chopper is the best in the field for heavy mover, not the safest..But the cheapest bidder won the war of jobs.

if james first portion of his comment is to me, he needs to pull his head out of his second point of contact. the SecDef is appointed by the president and confirmed with the advice and consent of the senate.

also james should explain which helicopter was better than than boeings ch-47, and how much more expensive it is compared to the chinook.

additionally it's REMF not REM.

jay son - James tries hard, he really does. But if he thinks that some Lt junior grade in the rear schedules this crap he is in for a major surprise.

Vietnam was run out right out of DC by LBJ and McNamara, almost right down to the unit level. If he thinks that Stormin' Norman and Powell didn't have a say in what went on in Iraq, he really needs to be treated for a serious anal/cranial inversion.
