USAG Sessions is dropping hints that Obama's DoJ may be subjected to an investigation.
Do it or don't.
Shit or get off the pot.
Story here.
Attorney General Jeff Sessions suggested Thursday that he would be open to the appointment of an outside counsel to review actions taken by the Justice Department during the Obama administration.I'm finding these floaters to be tiresome.
Conservative radio host Hugh Hewitt asked Sessions in an interview if the new attorney general would consider designating an outside counsel "not connected to politics" to take a second look at Justice Department actions that provoked Republican ire in the last eight years. Those include the Fast and Furious gun scandal and the decisions against bringing criminal charges over Hillary Clinton's email practices or the Internal Revenue Service's treatment of conservative groups.
Do it or don't.
Shit or get off the pot.
Sessions was noncommittal but left the door open, saying he would do everything he could to "restore the independence and professionalism of the Department of Justice."There's been eight years of review, enough already. Still, this may be a negotiating maneuver to shake things loose a bit.
"So we would have to consider whether or not some outside special counsel is needed," Sessions said. "Generally, a good review of that internally is the first step before any such decision is made."

I like the idea that they're not going to let these scandals die...follow them to their source (Barack and friends) and unearth the conspiracies.
I agree. There need to be some prosecutions.
I, too, grow weary of blabbing followed by inaction.
Linda - I can see Trump telling Sessions, "Shut. Them. Up."
Always - I counsel myself to be patient. These are very big targets and a lot of prep work is needed before anyone does a perp walk.
