Freckles Are In

When I was a kid all my freckled friends hated them.

Yourself offers stencil-like adhesives that will leave your skin all sun-kissed and speckled. But hardcore freckle fetishists can go a step further: They can get these spots tattooed on their faces.

Semipermanent freckle tattoos use pigment in lieu of ink, can last up to three years and cost about $250, according to the site NewBeauty.

Almost all my grandchildren have freckles.

FBI Investigates Missing White House Drapes

The Director of the FBI, James Comey, is personally supervising an investigation concerning the disappearance of three sets of White House drapes.

This afternoon at a Department of Justice press conference in Chicago, Director Comey issued the following statement:

"I think the Obamas were extremely careless. I think they were negligent. That I could establish. What we can't establish is that they acted with the necessary criminal intent," he insisted. "'Should have known,' 'must have known,' 'had to know' does not get you there. You have to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that they knew they were engaged in something that was unlawful."

I remember rooming with two college wrestlers who would starve themselves before a math to keep their weight down.

Earlier this month France passed a new law that bars models from walking the runway if their body mass index is deemed too low, in an attempt to combat anorexia.

And the pressure is on for agencies who can face a fines of up to $80,000 and six months in prison for employing too-thin models.

But former model Jennifer Sky, 38, from Brooklyn, New York, has revealed in an op-ed for the New York Observer that the fashion industry has already found a way around the regulations, explaining that thin models are now resorting to wearing weighted Spanx in order to cheat the new BMI standards.
