Q: When is One Hundred Percent Not One Hundred Percent?
A: Whenever the Obama Administration says one hundred percent.

Once again history shows that the Obama administration was corrupt and incompetent. What is surprising though, is that the veneer is cracking and falling away so quickly.

I really want former SecState John Kerry to be dragged before a Senate committee to explain how Sarin managed to show up again in Syria after he got rid of it.

Fact-checking website PolitiFact on Wednesday retracted a 2014 article that found it "Mostly True" the Obama administration helped broker a deal that successfully removed "100 percent" of chemical weapons from Syria.

"We struck a deal where we got 100 percent of the chemical weapons out," then-Secretary of State John Kerry said on NBC's "Meet the Press" in July 2014. Kerry was referring to a deal the U.S. and Russia struck in September 2013 in which the Russians agreed to help confiscate and then destroy Syria's entire chemical weapons stockpile.

CIA Imitates Russian Hackers

And now we go a little bit further down the rabbit hole. I need to lose some weight so I'm looking for the pill that makes me smaller. If only the government could find the pill that makes them honest.

Wikileaks now uncovers more of the CIA's possible culpability in the 2016 elections mess.  

The CIA's Remote Devices Branch's UMBRAGE group collects and maintains a substantial library of attack techniques 'stolen' from malware produced in other states including the Russian Federation.

With UMBRAGE and related projects the CIA cannot only increase its total number of attack types but also misdirect attribution by leaving behind the "fingerprints" of the groups that the attack techniques were stolen from.

So the so-called evidence that the Russians hacked the election could have been the CIA hacking our own elections. This is a Rooskie source but what the hell, more here and WikiLeaks here.

Zero Hedge also has something to say about the WikiLeaks leaks and the CIA's use of Russian malware to imitate cyber attacks:

WikiLeaks said that ‘Year Zero’ revealed details of the CIA’s “global covert hacking program,” including “weaponized exploits” used against company products including “Apple's iPhone, Google's Android and Microsoft's Windows and even Samsung TVs, which are turned into covert microphones.”

WikiLeaks tweeted the leak, which it claims came from a network inside the CIA’s Center for Cyber Intelligence in Langley, Virginia.

Among the more notable disclosures which, if confirmed, "would rock the technology world", the CIA had managed to bypass encryption on popular phone and messaging services such as Signal, WhatsApp and Telegram. According to the statement from WikiLeaks, government hackers can penetrate Android phones and collect “audio and message traffic before encryption is applied.”

Another profound revelation is that the CIA can engage in "false flag" cyberattacks which portray Russia as the assailant. Discussing the CIA's Remote Devices Branch's UMBRAGE group, Wikileaks' source notes that it "collects and maintains a substantial library of attack techniques 'stolen' from malware produced in other states including the Russian Federation.

Well, apparently everyone in the US intelligence community got into the act. The DHS tried to hack the State of Georgia's election servers last year. The only difference between them and the CIA is that they suck at it.

The Georgia Secretary of State's Office now confirms 10 separate cyberattacks on its network were all traced back to U.S. Department of Homeland Security addresses.

In an exclusive interview, a visibly frustrated Secretary of State Brian Kemp confirmed the attacks of different levels on his agency's network over the last 10 months. He says they all traced back to DHS internet provider addresses.

"We're being told something that they think they have it figured out, yet nobody's really showed us how this happened,” Kemp said. "We need to know."

This isn't a swamp, it's a lake. Drain the damn thing.

I loved the Barney Miller TV program. I watched it whenever I could and I remember this episode.

I thought this was a hoot back in 1981.

Who Pays The Most In Taxes?

Seems funny that the richest socialists like Sanders and Clinton are always griping that the rich need to pay more while they hide their assests with every legal device at their command. Yet the poorest pay little or nothing yet garner the greatest benefits from the government.

[...]with approximately $1.55 trillion in individual income tax expected to be collected in 2016, this means that less than 1% of US taxpayers will be responsible for more than a third, or roughly $575 billion in government revenue, nearly double what corporate income taxes ($300 billion) are expected to bring in.

Here are 27 large corporation that did not pay any federal taxes last year.

Of course there is no attempt (or intent) by the government to just provide essential services. This is all about wealth redistribution in order to maintain political advantage.

The Criminal Obama Legacy Abetted By Hillary

Like an oozing, pus-filled wound, the Obama/Clinton Benghazi debacle continues to fester.

The Administration knowingly fabricated from whole cloth the lie that a video sparked the attack.

(Washington, DC) – Judicial Watch announced today that it obtained more than 100 pages of previously classified “Secret” documents from the Department of Defense (DOD)and the Department of State revealing that DOD almost immediately reported that the attack on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi was committed by the al Qaeda and Muslim Brotherhood-linked “Brigades of the Captive Omar Abdul Rahman” (BCOAR), and had been planned at least 10 days in advance. Rahman is known as the Blind Sheikh, and is serving life in prison for his involvement in the 1993 World Trade Center bombing and other terrorist acts.

The new documents also provide the first official confirmation that shows the U.S. government was aware of arms shipments from Benghazi to Syria. The documents also include an August 2012 analysis warning of the rise of ISIS and the predicted failure of the Obama policy of regime change in Syria.

I Don't Want To Hear This

I probably will apply for social security this month. I have been eligible for four years now but decided to hold off as I am still working and intend to do so for at least another year.

Entitlements: Officially, Social Security has enough money to pay all its promised benefits until 2033. But a new study suggests this forecast could be wildly optimistic. And that spells big trouble for future retirees.

Every year, the Social Security Administration releases its Trustees Report, which projects the program's solvency — how much it will take in, how much it will pay out and how long the "trust fund" can cover revenue gaps — over the next 75 years.

The latest report says that Social Security can meet its financial obligations for about 18 more years. After that, the trust fund will be exhausted, and payroll taxes won't cover nearly all the benefit costs.

That's bad enough. But a new study by researchers at Harvard and Dartmouth shows that this day of reckoning will almost certainly come far sooner than that.
