St. Patrick's Day

My Italian wife made an Irish altar. Bless her heart.

Key word? Wife. I think you are stuck. I'll be she doesn't even bother reading you your rights anymore. :p

A true Irish altar would have a bottles of Tullamore Dew, Jameson's and Bushmills there as well since it's whiskey that kept the Irish from ruling the world.

At least the altar is up against the wall. I hope all who approach it will be facing east.

Doom - never get in the way of a woman who wants a free Irish teapot. That teapot cost me $4,500. I'll tell the story someday.

LL - God knew what he was doing.

Even the Italians want to be Irish on St Patties Day.

This has nothing to do with this post, but I went back and read your The Little Sargent post. I enjoyed reading it and sorry you lost him. But I was disappointed you didn't follow up with his story and the pictures. He seemed like a real character and I would like to know him better.

Coffeepot - ya know what? His birthday is next month. Now I've got some time to add to that.

Now just a minute, where's the beer steins?

It isn't an actual Irish alter without the whiskey.

LL,

I love tullemore, hate jameson's, never tried the 3rd. Which does it taste more like? Yeah, I drink them neat, or sometimes on the rocks, and rarely with water. If that helps.

Sig94,

Oh... I'll wait for that story. Don't make me wait too long, memory sucks. Yours? Mine? At our age and health... your guess is as good as mine. Looking forward to it.
