Hooray, Chairman Obama makes it easy to pay your medical costs. Thanks, Big Brother!

Stop this by opposing ObamaCare.

Everybody seems to be posting information about the House's proposed government health program. Now, it's my turn. Take a read of this:

Page 57, under section 163:

"be authoritative, permitting no additions or constraints for electronic transactions ..." (C) "be comprehensive, efficient and robust, requiring minimal augmentation by paper transactions or clarification by further communications;" and, finally, (D) enable the real-time (or near real-time) determination of an individual’s financial responsibility at the point of service and, to the extent possible, prior to service, including whether the individual is eligible for a specific service with a specific physician at a specific facility, which may include utilization of a machine-readable health plan beneficiary identification card;" ... (E) "enable, where feasible, near real-time adjudication of claims ..."

The government has the sole authority to move money out of patient bank accounts without constraint and in real time. Under (4)(C) of this subsection it says the government would have the capability to "enable electronic funds transfers, in order to allow automated reconciliation with the related health care payment and remittance advice..."

This program will tie your health records and financial records to IRS records.

  • If you trust the government, this won't bother you.
  • If you want the government to have automatic access to your financial records, you'll sleep fine at night.
  • If you want the government to have the power to remove money from you accounts without your authorization, just go dust off the Obama sticker on your Prius.

But if it concerns you, read on:

  • Page 16: States that if you have insurance at the time of the bill becoming law and change, you will be required to take a similar plan. If that is not available, you will be required to take the gov option!
  • Page 22: Mandates audits of all employers that self-insure!Page 29: Admission: your health care will be rationed!
  • Page 30: A government committee will decide what treatments and benefits you get (and, unlike an insurer, there will be no appeals process)
  • Page 42: The "Health Choices Commissioner" will decide health benefits for you. You will have no choice. None.

Usually it's the "rich" people that have been victimized by Identity Theft. I mean, who wants to steal the ID of a poor person with crappy credit?

Now the poor will be at the top of the ID theft list - people will show up at the doc's office pretending to be some loser with no dough and no credit and get their treatments on the cheap.

Yay for Do'hBama!

Unbelievable. Who would want the government with its hands in your pocketbook all the time. People would move. Seriously. Either to a state that declares independence from Obamacare, or a foreign country.

Part of the examination will be the sticking of the pointy light into the ear while the nurse/internment tech goes through your wallet and thoughts.

Opie, How would I look in chaps and a 10-gallon hat?

Sit down.
Deep breaths.
Clutch you wallet.

I cannot believe anyone in America would want this monster of a program.

I hope the voting idiots remember this ram it down your throat attitude.

Dr. Goomba,

So now the mystery is solved. I always wondered what they called the pointy light. And we learn ... it's ... the "pointy light".

And chaps and a 10-gal? You would look mighty fine, assuming you were wearing jeans ... and a shirt. So, c'mon, over, Nick. Gov. Perry has already stated we are not doin' it, any way. We have been and remain independent over here. You would fit right in, as long as you don't mind being called an "Eye-talian" every now and again.

But tell me, don't you want to at least get a gander at the three-eyed androids that crafted this -- the largest legislative bowel movement since, well, the last movement of this current congress?

Admiral, this has NOTHING to do with healthcare.

If the Dems can get this program, in any form, they will have grown their constituency by declaring at every election that the opposition will be planning to remove everybody's medical care.

The Democrats want this so badly, they'd do ANYTHING to get it.

For some reason Obama is referring to "my plan" as if it's a different "plan" than the "House plan".

Since no one has seen the Obama plan, except Obama - maybe forming like mist over his bed - is this plan phantasm the first sign of some sort of Caligula-like disintegration?

Yes, because in another spasm of lunacy, he's comparing his plan's validity to the US Postal Service.

Don't forget the "ahhh stick"

Anonymous said...

Yeah, Rhod... There's the selling point. Your new healthcare plan will be run like the post office!

This is actually a good thing. As I've always said, if you see a trash pile, keep throwing trash on it til it gets big enough that it can't be ignored anymore.

And really, the voters are the real problem, and they're not going to get any smarter without pain. We need the pain, but not the HC Bill of course, as that will be irreversible.

Anonymous said...

Not only will single-payer be irreversible, so will be the Dem's hold on political power.

The Republicans look weak. They have no voice.

The_Kid said...

I agree. The republican party is dead at least through the 2012 elections.

I'm putting my hope on 2010 Congress, and not even much of that.

Anonymous said...

Kid, the congressional candidates will need to be organized, inspired and led.

Those buffoons are worthless, and there's no Newt to do the legwork.

I was reminded recently that people who oppose this monster are being accused of spreading "disinformation"...which is very different from "misinformation".

Wiki "disinformation" tells you a lot about the background and thinking of the despots we're up against.

The Democratic Party takes political riskd by putting people noy business first.
