It's the Revolution, Stupid!

TIME MAGAZINE:
Why Obama Is Losing the Political War

Barack Obama is being politically crushed in a vise. From above, by elite opinion about his competence. From below, by mass anger and anxiety over unemployment. And it is too late for him to do anything about this predicament until after November's elections.

With the exception of core Obama Administration loyalists, most politically engaged elites have reached the same conclusions: the White House is in over its head, isolated, insular, arrogant and clueless about how to get along with or persuade members of Congress, the media, the business community or working-class voters. This view is held by Fox News pundits, executives and anchors at the major old-media outlets, reporters who cover the White House, Democratic and Republican congressional leaders and governors, many Democratic business people and lawyers who raised big money for Obama in 2008, and even some members of the Administration just beyond the inner circle.

It is nice to see the rest of the media and elites catching up to notions we held two years ago.

Sounds like they are in much the same position as Britains last socialist government in the dying days of Gordon Browns maladministration ut our lot had 13 years to run out of steam.

Give them the same treatment as we did Nickie though I'm not too clear whether the Tea Party is a faction within the Republican movement or whether it regards itself rather as a potential ally.

That's why he is 6% more popular than Reagan was at this time in his administration.

Project Savior,

Oh, I think that is because people have been so indoctrinated not to say anything bad about black people that they almost can't. In a hypothetical, ask how many people would have (and then test the questioning for legitimacy) invited President Reagan versus the current chump into their home for a dinner. Chump wouldn't get invited to most towns or cities, let alone into homes.

Keep hoping and believing. It is your wont.

The Narcissist blames everyone else for his shortcomings. He will go down in history as the reason for our second revolution.

There are days when I think that we might be able to save the Republic. We're not out of the woods yet, but maybe, just maybe we can.

The author of this article seems to think that he is among the crème de la crème of the "elite." Wake up Halperin--those who are angry and anxious about unemployment long ago concluded Obama is incompetent. The "elite" are only starting to catch up, and they're still willing to give this "Constitution-reformer" president plenty of wiggle room for at least a couple more years.

To see him flailing about AGAIN when exposed to real life - this time the homes repo issue - it is irrefutable that obama has no capacity for dealing with reality.

His only talent is reading cliche and platitude ridden drivel written by 20 something political groupie boys off of a teleprompter.

Let's see how many dumber than rocks or pathetically dependent people there are on Nov 3. My guess is Way Too Freakin Many.
