Will Somebody, Anybody, Please Indict This Chick?

Hillary Rodham Clinton desperately needs to be indicted, tried, convicted and put away.

If there is a single action that could resurrect Americans' belief in our criminal justice system, that would be it.

Follow me on this. Very little has changed w/r/t resources allocated to our southern border security, yet just the threat of increased enforcement and a border fence by Trump plus the unleashing of current border patrol agents has resulted in a 70% decrease in illegal aliens so far this year.

What does this say to us? More importantly, what does it say to those who break our laws?

This is what it says; the party's over, the buffet table has been closed, it's time to pay the piper.

The lax, almost non-existent, border enforcement policies inflicted upon us by the Obama administration was not an accident. As half of Central America decided to move north, radical Muslims also discovered that running amok was a low risk endeavor made profitable by the US State Department.

The DoJ also refused to prosecute many white collar (fraud) cases. This action encouraged many banks and financial agents to steal to their hearts content as larceny also became low risk. Between the GW Bush and Obama administrations, not a single fraudulent banker went to prison for their part in nearly destroying the American economy.

And now there is more evidence that Hillary Clinton is one of the most corrupt national politicians in our nation's history. As SecState not only did she violate scores of national security laws, she also pressured the Prime Minister of Bangladesh to keep a Clinton Foundation donor in an official position.

While secretary of state, Hillary Clinton made a personal call to pressure Bangladesh’s prime minister to aid a donor to her husband’s charitable foundation despite federal ethics laws that require government officials to recuse themselves from matters that could impact their spouse’s business.

The Office of Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina confirmed to Circa that Mrs. Clinton called her office in March 2011 to demand that Dr. Muhammed Yunus, a 2006 Nobel Peace prize winner, be restored to his role as chairman of the country’s most famous microcredit bank, Grameen Bank. 

The bank’s nonprofit Grameen America, which Yunus chairs, has given between $100,000 and $250,000 to the Clinton Global Initiative. Grameen Research, which is chaired by Yunus, has donated between $25,000 and $50,000, according to the Clinton Foundation. Source

Hillary Clinton is the perfect target to kick off an anti-corruption campaign. She is incredibly high profile, she's as dishonest as the day is long, and her imprisonment will drive the Democrats positively ape shit. The poo flinging will be epic.

The prosecution and imprisonment of Hillary, or both of the Clintons for that matter, would send a strong statement to those who would abuse the political system for their own gain, would go a long way towards restoring America's trust in government and would provide endless entertainment as the Democrats consume themselves.

Brooklyn DA Fined $15,000

My youngest daughter moved to New York City this year in order to get a job in the fashion industry. She got the job and is now living in the Williamsburg section of Brooklyn.

The problem with Brooklyn is that there are over 2.6 million people living there and even a low percentage of idiots is still a fairly large number. And so of course they elected an idiot as District Attorney. What is wrong with this cheapskate?

There’s no such thing as a free lunch — unless you’re Brooklyn District Attorney Ken Thompson.

The food-grubbing district attorney has agreed to pay a $15,000 fine to settle charges that his security detail bought him lunch weekdays for five months after he took office and then had taxpayers reimburse them, the city Conflicts of Interest Board revealed on Wednesday.

Thompson, who took over as DA in 2014, made members of his security detail dip into their own pockets to buy him $2,043 worth of meals between January 2014 and May 2014, the board said.

The dishes they fetched included sandwiches, bagels, burgers, chicken and salmon, according to a source familiar with his preferences.

“They didn’t know if they were going to get the money back,” said one source.
Thompson admitted in a settlement statement that his cops were eventually paid back with taxpayer funds with “authorization” by his fiscal office.

Former Federal Cops Tell FBI: Be Careful

There is a great deal at stake for the FBI in their investigation of former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. It's not just their reputation; their recruiting of top notch people, cooperation with other law enforcement agencies throughout the world - all is at risk if they are perceived to be nothing but a political hack that excuses the worst abusers of power at the highest level of government.

Former FBI agents who worked the notorious 1970s sting operation known as ABSCAM have written FBI Director James Comey to warn that nothing less than the bureau's "reputation" is on the line as the investigtaion into Hillary Clinton's email practices enters a critical phase.

The agents, in a March 16 letter obtained by Fox News, offered their support for Comey and the agents working the email case. But the letter cautioned the outcome would have long-lasting implications.

"Decisions must be made on facts alone. Much is at stake here -- people's trust in the Bureau for years to come, as well as the Bureau's reputation among our allies, partners, and friends as the greatest law enforcement agency in the world,” wrote John F. Good, president of the Long Island Chapter of the Society of Former Special Agents of the FBI.

The US Dept. of Justice will also be tainted if this goes down as I fear it wil. Their prosecutions, their potential witnesses, their jury selection pool - a lot can be affected by the public's distrust of the federal criminal justice system.

NY State Steps Up To The Plate, Almost

At first I thought "Yes!" as I read the initial blurb in a Facebook post. Then I read the news article - the NY Senate is Republican for the most part, but the State Assembly is controlled by Democrats. I doubt this bill will see the light of day. Probably the only way this bill gets out of the Assembly is if the statute were limited to inciting violence against queer/tranny cops.

ALBANY, N.Y. -- New legislation has passed in the state senate that seeks to make inciting violence against police officers a crime.

The New York State Senate has passed legislation sponsored by Senator Michael Nozzolio of LaFayette, that would establish the new crime of inciting violence against a police officer.

In response to recent violent crimes against police officers, deliberately inciting violence towards law enforcement is now a class D felony.

Senator Nozzolio "We will not tolerate the senseless and cowardly acts of violence against our police officers as they put their lives on the line every day to protect us. We have seen a surge in violent crimes against on-duty police officers so ensuring their safety has never been more important. I look forward to continuing to work with my colleagues to strengthen New York's criminal justice laws."

The bill will be sent to the Assembly.

In light of recent events that have occurred in the United States and around the world I want to encourage citizens of Ulster County who are licensed to carry a firearm to PLEASE DO SO.

I urge you to responsibly take advantage of your legal right to carry a firearm. To ensure the safety of yourself and others, make sure you are comfortable and proficient with your weapon, and knowledgeable of the laws in New York State with regards to carrying a weapon and when it is legal to use it.

I also want to remind all Police/Peace Officers both active duty and retired to please carry a weapon whenever you leave your house. We are the thin blue line that is entrusted in keeping this country safe, and we must be prepared to act at any given moment.

It's Time Again.

The idiots are getting bolder and bolder. I had an incident last week with three black shitheads youths as I was leaving the courthouse. I was really tempted to smack one of them who jumped in front of my face waving his arms and shouting. The kid apparently was high as a kite and was screaming gibberish to the delight of his fellow idiots. They ran down the street pummeling parked police cars. I was standing next to two female prosecutors and didn't want to get involved in a ruckus and have them hurt so I ignored them. Then this afternoon as I was leaving a detective told me about an incident he had in the exact same spot this week with another group of young blacks. He threatened to beat the crap out of them and they took off. He told me I was nuts not to be carrying in the courthouse these days.

I am going to approach my boss about wearing a gun to work. As a contractor doing investigations I had special permission from the courts to do this but I let it lapse. It's been 17 years: it's time again.

Because cops are pulling back in their aggressive enforcement effort, the idiots are running amok. The shootings in our city are going through the roof. The FBI director commented on this recently and was rebuked by the White House. Now the DEA chief stepped up to the plate and took a swing at Obama and his circus clowns.

WASHINGTON — The nation's top drug enforcement official said Wednesday that FBI Director James Comey was "spot on'' when he recently offered the controversial assessment that violent crime surges in some cities may be linked to police officers' reluctance to engage suspects.

"I think there is something to it,'' Drug Enforcement Administration chief Chuck Rosenberg told reporters, referring to the so-called "Ferguson-effect'' in which police have been reportedly hesitant to act for fear of prompting the kind of civil unrest that engulfed Ferguson, Mo., last year. "I think (Comey) was spot on.''

Comey's remarks during appearances last month in Chicago put the FBI director at odds with some in law enforcement and the White House, which indicated that existing evidence did not support such a claim.

"I will say that the available evidence at this point does not support the notion that law enforcement officers around the country are shying away from fulfilling their responsibilities,'' White House spokesman Josh Earnest said last week. "On the contrary, I think you’ve seen a lot of local law enforcement leaders indicate that police officers and sheriffs and other local law enforcement officials are actually dedicated public servants who on a daily basis are putting their lives on the line to serve and protect the communities that they’re assigned to.''

Hillary Gets The Probe

The FBI investigation into former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton’s unsecured e-mail account is not just a fact-finding venture — it’s a criminal probe, sources told The Post on Wednesday.

The feds are investigating to what extent Clinton relied on her home server and other private devices to send and store classified documents, according to a federal source with knowledge of the inquiry.

“It’s definitely a criminal probe,” said the source. “I’m not sure why they’re not calling it a criminal probe.

Oakley, Michigan, is not a hotbed of crime. But if that should change, it seems well placed to cope, because the village is believed to have a police force numbering almost 150 people, or one officer for every two residents.

One, Robert James Ritchie, does not live in Oakley. A Detroit-area native better known as the rapper Kid Rock, he applied to join the village’s small army of reserve police officers, according to an attorney, along with many prominent Michigan professionals and businesspeople and a football player for the Miami Dolphins.

“A small blip on the map, the little village of Oakley, with less than 300 residents, has got dozens and dozens of no-show secret police officers,” said Philip Ellison, a lawyer who is representing the family who own Oakley’s tavern in lawsuits attempting to force transparency from village leaders about the scheme.

HALT! Or I'll bling you!

Ellison said the singer was one of the names on a document released to him which he is not allowed to make public in full.

“None of the reservists, with the exception of one, live within an hour and a half of the village of Oakley,” said Ellison. He and others say the police force is in effect running a “pay to play” scheme with parallels to the controversy in Tulsa, Oklahoma that erupted after a wealthy white 73-year-old reserve deputy with close links to the sheriff shot dead a black man during a botched sting operation after apparently mistaking his gun for his Taser.

This mindset is alien to me. This village participates in some kind of egotistical, role playing, masturbatory exercise. Wearing a badge and gun is no way to get your jollies.

After 24 years as a cop I couldn't wait to get out. I was sick of the petty politics (external and internal) and the number of mindless Satan's minions that clog our courts and prisons. Add to that the lawsuit happy attorneys desperate to second guess every decision you make and the liberal media hoping, praying that you screw up. And even if you did the right thing, they're more than happy to scream to the heavens that you didn't.

Having said that, it is a honorable profession that needs honorable people. Pinning a badge to your chest does not make you honorable. That happens prior to taking the oath and should be a primary concern when selecting potential recruits. Matters of sex and race, political affiliation, ethnic background - none of it should enter into the equation.

IMHO, the first recorded crime was homicide, not prostitution: we are the oldest profession.

Caution: Idiots At Work

The US Department of Justice was arming the Mexican drug cartels, ignoring white voter intimidation by the New Black Panthers, and winking at the IRS selectively targeting of conservative organizations.  It now proudly announces a new useless program, all form and no substance.

In a move Attorney General Eric Holder called a “major and important step forward to ensure effective policing,” the Obama administration issued its new strengthened guidelines Monday banning federal law enforcement from profiling on the basis of national origin, religion, and other characteristics. The strengthened anti-profiling policy is yet another part of the Department of Justice’s attempt to root out what it calls the “unconscious bias” of law enforcement officers. 

Though the guidelines apply specifically to federal agencies within the DOJ (the FBI, DEA, and Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives), Holder said he hopes the federal policies will impact local police departments. The new policy will require widespread re-education and even more thorough collection of data for the DOJ’s review.

Missing In Action

Maybe if they had to buy them they'd take better care.

[...]Fusion has learned that 184 state and local police departments have been suspended from the Pentagon's "1033 program" for missing weapons or failure to comply with other guidelines. We uncovered a pattern of missing M14 and M16 assault rifles across the country, as well as instances of missing .45-caliber pistols, shotguns and 2 cases of missing Humvee vehicles.

"[The program] is obviously very sloppy, and it's another reason that Congress needs to revisit this promptly," said Tim Lynch, director of the CATO Institute's project on criminal justice. "We don't know where these weapons are going, whether they are really lost, or whether there is corruption involved.

More troubling yet is the possibility that some of the missing weapons, which were given to local police departments as part of a decades' old government program to equip cops for the wars on terrorism and drugs, are actually being sold on the black market, Lynch said.

In six Mississippi police departments there are a dozen M14 rifles missing. And these are just the ones they know about.

Judicial Watch reports on the latest ballsy Muslim claim:

Islamic activists that strong-armed the FBI to purge anti-terrorism training material considered “offensive” to Muslims have made their next wave of demands, which include an overhaul in the way all law enforcement officers are trained in the United States.

The coalition of influential and politically-connected Muslim rights groups is demanding that the Obama administration implement a mandatory retraining program for all federal, state and local law enforcement officials who may have been subjected to materials they deem “biased and discriminatory” against Muslims. There must also be an audit of all federal law enforcement and intelligence gathering training and educational materials to identify and remove information that could exhibit bias against any race, ethnicity, religion or national origin, the groups demand.

I'm speechless.

Our Job Is More Than Special Tactics and Weapons

From "Call The Cops"

Pick up any police magazine, go to any police web page, the predominate images will be SWAT teams. The majority of stories will be about tactical readiness or will be breakdowns of recent shooting events. This so called “Tactical Porn” is bringing an end to police professionalism and heralding in police militarization.

When I joined the police department in 1974 our training emphasis was on service and community interaction. This was a result of the race riots in the late sixties - no one wanted a repeat. So as recruits and young field officers we were exposed to doctrines that sought to build trust with the neighborhoods we patrolled. Of course firearms and officer safety training was still a big part of our curricula, but we were encouraged to use our heads rather than our fists.

Years ago police publications were filled with articles about bike patrol, communication skills, and this new fad thing called the Internet. Images if Guns and SWAT teams were present but not to the level they are today. 

In the last decade coverage of topics out side of firearms, physical defense and SWAT have been drastically reduced. According to one magazine editor it is all about sales.

Our Chief of Police at the time, Tom Sardino, had used a grant to form the Crime Control Team, which received national attention. I was a part of this team which patrolled high crime areas until the concept was abandoned in February of 1979 due to departmental cuts in manpower.

We would field at least two or three cars within each territory; the least senior man was the service car who handled the daily grind, then there were the crime cars that basically were uniformed detectives who would also perform community relations tasks when they had the time. They were encouraged to get out of the patrol car and walk. Except for homicides and bank robberies, we did not forward our cases to the investigators in the Criminal Investigation Division as the regular patrol units did.

This was not a touchy-feely exercise. I worked in shitholes. But all that has changed. "Boutique Policing" is a politician's response to public pressure to respond to problems - creating small dedicated units which fragment the chain of command and rob the major patrol units of desperately needed manpower.

The emphasis on weapons and tactics is also disturbing. I see this in today's young cops, in their uniforms and equipment and their attitudes. And I am not the only one who is concerned.

“Look community policing is cool. I like that concept. But face it sex sells and SWAT teams are sexy as hell. I put a photo of a SWAT team on the cover and people open the magazine to read it. I put two cops having coffee with citizens on the cover and it never gets opened. I make money selling ad space, ad space only sells if people have a reason to open the magazine.” 

CallTheCops talked to multiple police administrators who agree that tactical porn is corrupting officers. Multiple administrators told us that young cops today don’t want to problem solve, they just want to run-n-gun. None were willing to go on record as they either write or aspire to write, for policing publications and fear burning bridges.

But today's ghettos are very different. The use of firearms to settle disputes has rocketed. Organized gangs present a very attractive alternative to a young teen living in a dysfunctional family. The sound of gunshots reverberates through our cities and minorities will not cooperate with law enforcement to stop the violence. It has become part of the popular culture.

One the other hand, do officers today face less of a physical threat nowadays than we did in the 1970's when the numbers of police officers killed in the line of duty were at their highest levels? Or has the phenomenal advances in medical science served to reduce these numbers? From the Officer Down Memorial Page:

For the decade of the 1970's, 2340 officers lost their lives, 1246 (53%) by gunfire.
For the decade of the 1980's, 1923 officers lost their lives, 816 (42%) by gunfire.
For the decade of the 1990's, 1663 officers lost their lives, 665 (40%) by gunfire.
For the decade of the 2000's, 1709 officers lost their lives, 535 (31%) by gunfire.
Thus far since 2010, 651 officers have lost their lives, 232 (36%) by gunfire.

Many citizens are concerned by the types of military vehicles now being used by police departments all over the country. My hope is that these vehicles will meet the same end as the flood of used military equipment in the late 60's under the 1965 Law Enforcement Assistance Administration. And that end was this - they quietly rusted away in a police garage, hardly ever used except in parades. And this equipment is not cheap to maintain. We had an old APC that we stored in the State Armory, we finally got rid of it while we could still drive it away. I never saw it used.

Off the record one Police Captain said “Whenever I get an announcement about training for bike patrol, CSI skills, or leadership development I ask who wants to go. All I get is people looking at me like I am speaking an alien language. But the second an announcement for SWAT training comes out everyone comes to my office asking to be allowed to go.”

Eh - kids nowadays. Testosterone Oriented Policing.

The issue is even seeping into Criminal Justice degree programs. In December of 2013 the first college announced a degree program in SWAT Science. Now six months later a dozen other colleges are gearing up similar programs.

I tell the young kids to get a degree in anything other than police science or public safety. The police academy will teach you what the department wants you to know about being a cop. Get a degree in something that will set you apart from the crowd or provide a fall back in case you decide that law enforcement is not your cup of tea. Get a degree in forensic accounting, computer science, whatever...

UPDATE: Gallows Bait

There can be only only one sentence for this man that can be called justice.

A rookie Jersey City cop was ambushed and executed by a murder suspect who moments earlier boasted, “Watch the TV news later — I’m going to be famous,” authorities said Sunday.

Officer Melvin Santiago, 23, was fatally shot in the head as he and other cops responded to a report of an armed robbery at a 24-hour Walgreens drugstore shortly after 4 a.m.
Santiago, who was wearing a bulletproof vest, was just getting out of the passenger seat of his patrol car when fugitive Lawrence Campbell came up and opened fire twice through the open door with a semiautomatic 9mm pistol, officials said.

[...]Campbell had been on the lam since a slaying last week involving two other accomplices.

Officer Santiago only graduated from the police academy last December. He always wanted to be a police officer - just like his uncle, a retired Jersey City detective.

Lawrence "Watch the TV" Campbell died from his wounds after killing Officer Santiago. His widow, Angelique Campbell, graciously deigned to share her feelings regarding these events.

The NY Post reports:

The widow of the thug who executed a Jersey City cop over the weekend said Monday that her husband should have killed even more officers — as her neighbors set up a sickening memorial to her fame-seeking spouse.  

“He should’ve taken more [officers] with him,” Angelique Campbell said of husband Lawrence, who killed rookie Officer Melvin Santiago in an ambush early Sunday, before being killed by police.

“Sorry for the officer’s family. That’s, you know, whatever. But, at the end of the day, [Lawrence] got a family, too. All they care about is the officer,” Campbell added in an interview with News 12 New Jersey.

So much for her condolences - "whatever" - to the family of the officer her husbanded murdered. Later she emitted a half-assed apology for her spiteful, hate riddled rant stating that she was very angry. Whatever.

Then a miracle happened: a half-assed ghetto memorial sprung into being to commemorate the passing of POS cop killer Lawrence Campbell.

Festooned with empty liquor bottles, rat feces, deflated balloons, dollar store candles, scrawled t-shirts (“REAL N—-Z DONT DIE,” “Forever a ‘G’ ” and “SEE U ON THE OTHER SIDE.” among the offerings), a little hand lotion, a few used condoms, and some spilled Tidy Bowl, this memorial pretty much captures the essence of Campbell's existence on this earthly plane.

We can pretty well rest assured that Lawrence is not resting in peace.

NYC Subways - Not So Fresh

I can sympathize with NYPD cops. When the judges and politicians get on your ass, back off and CYA. Nothing on your pay stub says you must get sued to cash a check. The NYPD is reacting to the decision of the lame federal judge who severely restricted their stop and frisk operations. If the cops violate that order, they can be arrested and sued civilly in federal court.

It’s an express train — to the bad old days.

Cops are giving homeless people and panhandlers in the subways the kid-glove treatment, arresting subterranean scofflaws far less frequently than just two years ago, data show.

The ranks of the homeless, meanwhile, have swelled to 1,841 this year — a 13 percent increase over last year’s tally, the city’s Department of Homeless Services says.

For straphangers, it has created an atmosphere of fear.

“I feel threatened, especially taking the train at night,” explained Brooklynite Lortashia Smith, who said she has been followed off trains several times. “The police can definitely do more.”

Now this instance is an enforcement activity that is definitely affected by that loon judge. Someone is following you? A cop would do a stop and frisk.

The NYPD said panhandler/peddler arrests in the subway have increased over the past year, with 409 pinched so far in 2013 versus 395 in 2012. But those numbers pale in comparison to 2011, when it was reported that in a six-month span that year, a whopping 930 panhandlers and peddlers — the two are not separated in the data — were arrested.

“There’s been a drop-off,” acknowledged one police source.

The stop and frisk ruling is perhaps tangential to the panhandling enforcement, but it is a similar activity where the officer has to confront someone. These two issues may or may not be related, but there is little doubt in my mind that they are.

Even panhandlers are scared.

“There’s more people down here,” noted Sarah Colon, who said she has been homeless ever since Hurricane Sandy. “The city’s not doing what it’s supposed to be doing. They need to make the shelters better than what they are now.”

Things could get a lot worse.

“I believe this can turn into ‘Mad Max’ down here,” said Maurice Solomon of The Bronx. “It’s a safe haven — it’s warm for them, and people give them food.”

You also have to take into consideration the relaxation of mental health laws back in the seventies when mentally/emotionally disturbed persons (EDP) were mainstreamed back into society. It is estimated that EDP's kill perhaps a thousand or more people a year.

When looking at the rates of violent crime overall — homicide, for instance — the best estimate is that 5% to 10% of murders are committed by people with mental illness. But a far larger proportion of mass homicides, including the brutal July 2011 attacks in Norway, the Tucson, Ariz., shooting that wounded Congresswoman Gabby Giffords and the Virginia Tech massacre in 2007, involve perpetrators with mental illness. The proportion far outstrips the rates of mental illness in the population.

Last year over 24,000 people were murdered in the US. The 5-10% range specified in the article above indicates that from 1,200 to 2,400 of these victims were killed by EDP's.

Unfortunately the only way to check the veracity of this is to see what happens to the homicide rate in NYC over the next few years. It may be a good idea to stop taking the subway.
