Pence, the former governor of Indiana, was invited to speak after Notre Dame students and faculty protested the prospect of President Donald Trump being invited to become the seventh U.S. president to give the commencement address.

Donald Trump proposes cuts of 29 percent to the State Department, 21 percent to the Departments of Agriculture and Labor, 18 percent to Health and Human Services, and 31 percent to the Environmental Protection Agency in a partial outline of his budget entitled “America First: A Budget Blueprint to Make America Great Again.” Defense, Veterans Affairs, Homeland Security, and programs supporting school choice receive boosts. For pretty much everything else, Trump lowers the boom.

If you don't cut off unproductive limbs on a fruit tree, you don't get good fruit. But this is more like cutting off hunks of gangrenous flesh.

President Trump announced that his budget for the fed's 2017-18 fiscal year will not contain funding for several iconic liberal programs.

These programs include Public Broadcasting System (PBS), National Public Radio (NPR), the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) as well as the Smithsonian and the National Galleries.

President Donald Trump made good on a long-time conservative goal in his first proposed budget Thursday morning, targeting the Corporation for Public Broadcasting and the National Endowments for the Arts and Humanities for complete elimination.

Trump’s budget would zero out the $445 million budget for the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, a substantial source of funding for programming and broadcast operations on public TV stations and NPR radio stations nationwide, per the Washington Post.

[...]Additional cuts would affect two tourist mainstays in Washington, D.C., the Smithsonian Institution and the National Gallery of Art.

I'd prefer funding for the Smithsonian and the National Galleries to continue.

The Democratic Party Still Loves To March

In Madison Square Garden, New York City, from June 24 to July 9, a dispute during came up revolving around an attempt by non-Klan delegates, led by Forney Johnston of Alabama, to condemn the organization for its violence in the Democratic Party’s platform.

But Klan delegates defeated the platform plank in a series of floor debates.

To celebrate, tens of thousands of hooded Klansmen rallied in a field in New Jersey, across the river from New York City. This event, known subsequently as the “Klanbake”, was also attended by hundreds of Klan delegates to the convention, who burned crosses, urged violence and intimidation against African Americans and Catholics, and attacked effigies of Smith.

The 9th Circuit Court just realized it stepped on its collective dick. A sua sponte motion (a motion not made by either party but by a judge all on his lonesome) was filed by the Court to reconsider its dick stepping decision this week. Perhaps this time they will choose interpretive pole dancing instead of Constitutional law.

Oh, the winning… it’s often too funny. The Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals is now independently, on its own impetus, requesting an internal vote on a full panel en banc hearing to review its own decision.

Additionally, the full ninth are asking the Trump administration to file an additional brief telling the court why the three member original appeals ruling authority was wrong. In essence, the smart judges know what wasn’t considered, and are now looking for an out.

You just can’t make this stuff up.

The Justice Department was asked to submit another brief in support of its case; it appears as if they may ignore it. Trump doesn't have to do a thing but let the Court stew in its own juices.

Trump: Political Genius?

The whole business of the “banning” order, Judge Robart’s insolent ruling, and the appeal by radio (or telephone) for all the world to hear and for recordings to be easily made and preserved, was exactly what Trump and his people planned when they went into retreat: Issue the order, have some partisan judge stop it, have an appeal to the notorious ninth circuit, have the two most senior and competent lawyers who could argue the case for the state recuse themselves (on however flimsy grounds) so that an ill-prepared junior has to suddenly step in and muck it up and - lo and behold! - Trump has completely immunized himself from any blame when the next Muslim terrorist attack is committed in the US. No wonder some of the brighter pundits on the right are now calling Trump “a political genius”.

Of course this begs two questions:
"What does Trump and his security people know that we don't? and
"Just how far is the left willing to trash Constitutional separation of powers."

Two prior Presidents (Carter and Obama) temporarily suspended immigration from Iran and Iraq due to their hostility towards this country with no interference from the courts. .

He WIll Not Incite Us

Shia LaPoof just had his live stream "He Will Not Divide Us" protest shut down because of violence. Also a factor was the number of idiots that were entering the NYC museum that hosted the camera; it violated the NYC building code that restricted the number of assholes that could enter a not-for-profit premise.

he Museum of the Moving Image in NYC says it turned off the cam mounted on one of its walls because it had become a "flashpoint for violence." Shia was arrested on January 25 when he allegedly got physical with a protester who showed up to oppose the movement.

There had been other physical altercations where no one was arrested -- with and without Shia -- and NYPD started patrolling the spot regularly.

The wife and I watched Disney's "The Prince of Egypt" last night on DVD. It's still one of my favorite animated movies. Especially the first seven minutes where the opening scene is the song "Deliver us.".

Deliver us. The Jews prayed for deliverance from 430 years of slavery finally ending under the rule of a Pharaoh by the name of Thutmoses III (not Ramsses II who was Pharaoh 200 years later).

The liberals pray for deliverance from a duly elected Chief Executive of the United States named Donald Trump who is against slavery, wants everyone to have a good job and protect us from terrorists.And he's been President for two weeks.

The liberals want to be delivered from the threat of a conservative Supreme Court and now pray for 83 year old Justice Ruth Ginsburg to live forever, or at least for another four years. To ensure her longevity, liberals are flooding the media with suggestions on prolonging her life.

On Wednesday morning, liberals woke up, did the math and realized it was time to be concerned about Ruth Bader Ginsburg's fiber intake. Also bone density. Also exposure to airborne viruses (Madame Justice, what is your flu shot status?), and salmonella, and slippery ice, and also: Has anyone heard how scientists are coming along with a Zika vaccine?

Restaurants are rapidly going out of business in the Bay Area, after San Francisco passed a $15 minimum wage law in 2014 and the State of California followed suit in 2016. Yet the media are struggling to make the connection between high minimum wages and restaurant closures.

The East Bay Times, for example, asked Tuesday: “What’s behind the spate of recent Bay Area restaurant closures?” It barely mentioned new minimum wage laws, brushing them aside as if they were largely insignificant.

It doesn't take a Ph.D to realize that paying a high school drop out $15 an hour to cook french fries is not a good business plan.

• He then began demanding to know why Ivanka was on the flight and not travelling on a private plane while she sat with her kids
• Ivanka ignored him and tried to preoccupy her children with crayons while the man berated her
• A fellow passenger said later that Ivanka told security and flight staff she did not want to make the incident a thing and have anyone removed from the flight
• The man's husband, Matthew Lasner, later tweeted: 'My husband expressed his displeasure in a calm tone, JetBlue staff overheard, and they kicked us off'
• However one hour before that he wrote on Twitter: 'Ivanka and Jared at JFK T5, flying commercial. My husband chasing them down to harass them'

Where is the Secret Service? Making sure that Hillary's bottle of Jack Daniels doesn't get empty? These two sodomites are proud that they intimidated an unescorted woman and her children?

An example needs to be made. Limbs must be broken, teeth forcibly excavated and ears removed to tag them for further study.

That's not change honey. It's called molting.

“You know, there’s nowhere I can go in the world and just sit at a table and have a cup of coffee and watch the world,” Obama said in what is expected to be her final sit-down interview.

Oprah doubted Obama will get her anonymity back — but the outgoing first lady was insistent.

It would be helpful if she first shaved all the hair off her back. But what do I know?

“Yes, I am. Now it’s all gonna change,” Obama said at the White House.

What she's really looking forward to is spewing her particular blend of hateful, vindictive venom at whoever is pissing her off at the moment and then crawling back into her spider hole where she can escape the resulting barrage of righteous indignation.

A Hollow Military

Obama hates America. There are few areas where this is more apparent than in the condition of our nation's armed forces.

Forget about the longtime standard of a military capable of fighting two major wars simultaneously, which the United States abandoned four years ago. The current military would have trouble fighting one major conflict.

That is the assessment of some prominent defense experts, who contend the military has degraded to dangerous levels after eight years under President Obama.

“We have lost our edge,” said Daniel Goure, senior vice president of the Lexington Institute. “We are no longer technologically superior in a whole list of areas … This is a military that is on the brink of collapse.”

For years liberals have argued that America cannot be the world's policeman. But most other nations do not operate under the same guiding principles of freedom and personal liberty that America possesses. It is foolish to assume otherwise.

Throughout recorded history we are  reminded that powerful nations will extend their sphere of influence and crush those that oppose them. The only way that this oppression can be resisted is through the application of military power.

If and when our political leaders determine that we are not capable of resisting foreign influence, they will surrender our interests to please other nations. Under whose sphere of influence do you wish to live your life? China? Russia? Iran?

Our overwhelming superior military strength is what has kept us free. That freedom could be lost if our military becomes weak and ineffective, which is exactly what Obama's agenda is trying to accomplish.

“We are actually below peacetime levels,” said John Venable, a retired Air Force colonel who serves as a senior research fellow with The Heritage Foundation’s Center for National Defense. “But we’re actually fighting a war.”

This is the change that Obama promised.

• The Army needs 25 brigades to fight one major conflict. It has 31, but Venable said only 10 are “mission ready.” 

• The Navy had 272 ships, below its 308-ship goal, and Venable said only about a third of the vessels are ready for combat. 

• The Air Force needs 600 planes to fight one major conflict. Although the service currently has 1,159, Venable said less than half are ready for combat. 

• The Marine Cops has 23 battalions, more than the 13 needed to fight one major conflict, but the Heritage report estimates only half are ready.

My father had a phrase for people that were easily offended. He said that they had "paper assholes." As a young kid I couldn't figure out what he meant, but as I matured I realized that if you had a paper bunghole you had to be very careful how you wiped yourself. Paper bungholes are very delicate and could not stand any abuse else they tear.

I don't know if he picked this phrase up in the Navy during WWII, but this was my Dad's reaction to overly sensitive whiners. He couldn't stand them and his sons were brought up in accordance with this philosophy. Lord I miss him.

But my Dad would have said it applies to so many people today. We now have a n entire generation of people who have paper assholes. They're called Democrats.

Disgruntled Democrats Want A Constitutional Convention To Leave The Union

On Tuesday, disgruntled Democrats held a forum to discuss the possibility of replacing the Electoral College.

Rep. Zoe Lofgren (D-CA) conceded that Democrats could not get rid of the Electoral College due to the way the United States Constitution is written.

“I don’t think we can sustain our American democracy by having the majority ruled by the minority. And so the question is how to fix this since the Constitution is written in such a way that it’s almost impossible to amend,” Lofgren said.

Remember the media's reaction to the Texit initiative last summer to leave the Union? Liberals pooh poohed the notion that Texas would secede, but now that their panties are all wadded up around their torn posteriors they're thinking the same thing.

Liberal heads are exploding as another myth crumbles under examination. This myth? That woman are typically paid less than men. From Breitbart:

Research on the gender pay gap from the American Enterprise Institute reveals that women overwhelmingly choose less-lucrative university majors.

The research, conducted by AEI scholar Mark J. Perry who is a professor at the University of Michigan in Flint, argues that any gap in earnings between American men and women are the result of the different career field choices rather than employer discrimination.

According to Perry’s research, American women received 57% of all bachelor degrees granted in 2014, which equated to nearly 200,000 more degrees granted to females than to males. Despite this disparity, the degrees granted to women came overwhelmingly in lower-paying majors, such as Nursing, Journalism, and English.

• For example, in 8 out of the 10 highest-paying college majors — various Engineering fields, Computer Science and MIS — men represented more than 80% of the college graduates in those fields. The only college major of the top ten where women are over-represented is Nursing, a field where 84.4% of the bachelor’s degrees in 2014 were awarded to women.
• For the top ten highest-paying college majors as a group, men earn an average of 72% of the bachelor’s degrees in those fields. For the top 20 college majors, men earn an average of nearly two-thirds of those degrees; for the top 30, the male average is 60.5% and for the top 50 (actually only 40 majors are considered), the average for men is 53.7% of degrees.

Perry concludes that the much-discussed pay gap is not a result of gender discrimination by employers, but rather the result of the choices of females entering the labor force.

Hacksaw Ridge

Mel Gibson's new movie, "Hacksaw Ridge," is a about an actual WWII conscientious objector, Desmond Doss, who enlists, becomes a medic and earns a Medal of Honor saving lives at Okinawa. It features performances by Andrew Garfield, Sam Worthington, Luke Bracey, Teresa Palmer, Hugo Weaving, Rachel Griffiths and Vince Vaughn.

Of course since Gibson is directed the film there are political considerations that must be examined by leftist Hollywood critics.

CNN is in the tank for Hillary Clinton, but we knew that. They got a real jones for Clinton to be President and there is no lie too small, no outrage too large that they will not consider in order to achieve this. And they don't care who knows it.

CNN's Chris Cuomo is the brother of NYS Gov. Andrew Cuomo and is also a liberal piece of shit just like his brother and their father - Mario Cuomo. There is a Cuomo Suite in Hell waiting for them.

Supreme Court Justice Ginsburg Is Worried

Apparently Ms. Ginsburg forgot where she put her teeth and just plain lost it. If Trump wins the Universe as we know it will be at risk. Immutable natural laws may change, tens of millions of Americans will illegally enter Mexico and demand welfare, Islamic dietary laws will demand the consumption of raw bacon, Bill Clinton will be celibate...

Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg believes "everything" will be up for grabs if Donald Trump is elected president and has the opportunity to appoint several justices to the high Court.

"I don't want to think about that possibility, but if it should be, then everything is up for grabs," Ginsburg said of the presumptive Republican nominee succeeding in his bid for the White House in an interview published Friday by The Associated Press.

The 83-year-old justice, who belongs to the court's liberal wing, said it's "likely that the next president, whoever she will be, will have a few appointments to make." Ginsburg is the oldest of the eight justices currently on the bench, while two of her colleagues – Anthony Kennedy and Stephen Breyer – are closing in on 80.

Don't Bother The ATF, They're Too Busy Selling Guns To The Cartels

Katie Couric's slanted piece on gun control - Katie and her producer admitted that they had a staffer commit a "straw purchase" of a firearm by sending him out of state to buy guns in Arizona in direct violation of federal law.

You may remember that Mayor Bloomberg screamed bloody murder about straw purchases ten years ago and the laws haven't changed.

From Fox News on May, 16, 2006:

A day earlier the mayor announced the city was suing 15 out-of-state gun dealers for what he said are violations of gun purchase laws caught on undercover videotape. In the sting operation, a person would complete paperwork and a background check while purchasing a gun only to give the firearm to someone else, commonly called a "straw purchase."

Still don't hear the outrage but it is a very selective outrage.

The ATF arrests people all the time for this. We need people to pressure the ATF to investigate Couric and Stephanie Soechtig (both for conspiracy) as well as the staffer who actually made the purchase.

“We sent a producer out and he is from Colorado and he went to Arizona and he was able to buy a Bushmaster and then three other pistoles without a background check in a matter of four hours. And that’s perfectly legal.”

Except it isn’t. Legal, that is. When Soechtig sent a producer to Arizona from Colorado specifically to acquire firearms, she could have actually broken two federal laws:

Interstate transfer: for a purchaser to acquire a firearm outside their state of residence – in this case, Colorado – the transfer must go through a licensed firearms dealer in the purchaser’s state of residence [18 U.S.C 922(a)(3); 27 CFR 478.29].
Straw purchase: one individual may not make the purchase of a firearm in someone else’s name [18 U.S.C. 922(a)(5)].

By Soechtig’s own admission, she sent a producer across state lines with instructions to purchase a firearm on her behalf (violation of straw purchase laws). And unless her producer is also a licensed firearms dealer, it’s likely that interstate transfer laws may also have been violated.

The neo-Orwellianism comes to us from the bizarre flurry of last-minute diktats, regulations and bone-chilling threats collectively known to fanboys as Obama’s Gorgeous Goodbye.

In another of those smiley-faced, but deeply sinister, “Dear Colleague” letters sent to universities and college this week, Obama’s Education Secretary John King discouraged colleges from asking applicants whether they were convicted criminals.

An accompanying pamphlet was called “Beyond the Box: Increasing Access to Higher Education for Justice-Involved Individuals.”

Murderers are now "procurers of premature lifelessness."
Rapists are "non-certified sperm delivery providers."
Burglars are "unregulated property acquisition coordinators."
Child molesters are "unauthorized initiators of youth sex activities."
Terrorists are "spontaneous political expression artists."
