With double indemnity (aka the "Clinton Clause") that's a cool $2 million in my pocket when Huma's water heater explodes. Or her brakes fail. Or her plane crashes (ala Ron Brown). Or she chokes on a shoe leather sandwich.

Huma Abedin hasn’t freshly read any of her email exchanges with Hillary Clinton that have been released by the State Department, but the longtime Clinton aide said it is "terrifying" to know that the messages are out there.

“It’s something I can’t really think about, but I can’t even imagine what’s in those emails. But I’m sure I would probably be mortified. I have no idea. I haven’t read any of them,” Abedin, who served as one of Clinton's top aides at State, said in an interview with the podcast "Call Your Girlfriend."

The State Department publicly released thousands of emails from Clinton, including many messages to her aides, after it was discovered that she used a private email server during her four-year tenure as secretary of state. Clinton has said that, looking back, it wasn't the best decision, but that she did not violate any rules or laws. The FBI is investigating the unusual server setup.

"Sweet Home Chicago" was first recorded back in 1936 long before its residents started killing each other in wanton fashion.

CHICAGO — Murders in the nation's third-largest city are up about 72%, while shootings have surged more than 88% in the first three months of 2016 compared with the same period last year, according to data released Friday by the Chicago Police Department.

Police said the disturbing rise in violence is driven by gangs and mostly contained to a handful of pockets on the city's South and West sides.

[...]The city has seen 141 murders this year, compared with 82 murders at the same point last year. Police reported 677 shootings this year compared with 359 at the same point last year.

The grim rise in violence comes after the Chicago Police Department reported 468 murders in 2015, a 12.5% increase from the year before. There were 2,900 shootings in 2015, 13% more than the year before, according to Police Department records.

Of course this disturbing statistic is visited upon a city where gun control is still Mayor Emanuel's preferred crime control measure.

Never Mind Mexicans, Could We Stop Godzilla?

Over the years I have lost a great deal of sleep worrying about our Beloved Nation being overrun by our enemies. And by monsters; gigantic, radioactive halitosis, shambling freaks of nature that seem fixed on destroying our major cities. Luckily there are civic minded leaders who also are concerned and have made plans to protect us.

Godzilla. Kings of the monsters. The original Kaiju. Born of humanity’s hubris, it comes from the depths of the Pacific ocean. It comes to wreak havoc. It comes to kill. Some of the more soft-hearted elements of the American military wish to weaponize the beast. Fools! The creature must be destroyed.

But how?

The U.S. Air Force’s 18th Wing in Japan—America’s largest combat wing—thinks it would have no problem felling the beast. Senior Airman Mark Hermann told Air & Space magazine he could destroy the monster with “.50-caliber [machine guns], four helicopters.” He thinks Godzilla is a joke.

He’s wrong. Godzilla is a force of nature. The mighty King of Monsters would shrug off a mere four helicopters armed with machine guns.

There are people in the military taking seriously the threat of giant atomic-powered lizards emerging from the Pacific Ocean.

Wait And See

I am sure about only one thing regarding the Clinton email/Benghazi fiascos: I am sure that I am not sure what the outcome will be and I do not trust the federal government as far as I can throw them.

In any event, Time has this to say about FBI Director Comey efforts regarding the email scandal. Not all of it is exactly reassuring as he already has let Hillary skate once (the Whitewater case) even after he knew she obstructed the investigation. Comey found that the Clintons exhibited “a highly improper pattern of deliberate misconduct.” And that went no where.

Late last summer, the director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, James Comey, met with John Giacalone, the bureau official responsible for everything from counterterrorism to counterintelligence across the U.S. Giacalone, a fireplug of a man who started out as a New York City field agent battling organized crime in the 1990s, wanted to brief Comey on a high-profile issue that had been referred to the bureau by the Inspector General of the Intelligence Community. Emails found on the private, unclassified server used by Hillary Clinton as Secretary of State contained classified information; Giacalone’s National Security Branch wanted to investigate how the secrets got there and whether anyone had committed a crime in the process. Comey was clear about one thing. “He wanted to make sure it was treated the same way as all other cases,” says Giacalone, who left the bureau in February.

[...]Comey is keeping a close watch on the investigation, getting briefings from team leaders and personally overseeing the case. Agents have been told they may be polygraphed to prevent leaks, the sources familiar with the probe say. “I want to ensure [the Clinton email investigation] is done in the ways the FBI does all its work: professionally, with integrity, promptly,” Comey told Congress in February. “And without any interference whatsoever.”

We'll see.

America, You Know What To Do

The Jewish World Review has something to say to Americans whose panties are all up in a wad.

[...]If there are riots to come then they will come from the Democrats who’ve crossed over to Trump in despair at their own pitiful candidates. Conservatives don’t riot. They may sulk but they don’t riot. They were not there in 1968 at the Democrat convention. Conservatives don’t have progressive terrorists like Bill Ayers in their membership. Conservatives aren’t looking for cradle to grave support from the government. Conservatives want a smaller government that will protect them against invaders not invite them in to rob and attack the innocent. Conservatives want a government that will allow citizens the right to defend themselves as written in the constitution. Conservatives want the government and bureaucrats to leave them alone.

Underneath all the sturm and drang of this political season is the one true fact that seems to get lost in the shuffle. It is that America is still the greatest country on earth because it is still free and it will become even stronger and greater if the electorate would just do its homework and vote smart.

Syracuse, N.Y. -- It's like the No. 1 seed getting knocked out in the second round of the tournament.

Syracuse, traditionally America's snowiest big city, has just been upset this season by Lakewood, Colo., thanks to a massive blizzard in the Rockies and Upper Midwest this week. Lakewood now sits atop the Golden Snow Globe contest as the snowiest city this season with at least 100,000 people.

It's a narrow lead: Lakewood has 72.6 inches to Syracuse's 72.2 inches. But Syracuse has no measurable snow in the forecast, and March is the snowiest month of the year in many parts of Colorado.

Trump On Brussels

Donald Trump was on Fox News and he had this to say about today's Islamic outrage in Brussels:

Trump spoke only hours after coordinated terrorists bombings killed at least 34 people and wounded more than 130 in Brussels, Belgium.

“It’s going to get worse and worse. In my opinion, this is just the beginning. It will get worse and worse because we are lax and we are foolish — we can’t allow these people, at this point we cannot allow these people to come into our country. I’m sorry,” Trump said, appearing on Fox and Friends. “This is a story that just seems to be more and more happening and it’s really not very pretty to watch.”

[...]“We’re not the victims here — we’re acting like this is our fault,” he said. “That’s the problem with the liberal policies of this country and this world, it’s acting like it’s our fault. It’s not our fault, okay, it’s not our fault. It’s their fault. And they have to come out and they have to say, ‘hey look, this is happening’.”

I am so sick of hearing that it is only a few misguided radials who are perpetrating these atrocities.

It is Islam.

Islam is what it is, a primitive, moon god-worshiping crowd who follow the mutterings of a sex crazed pedophile and kill at the drop of a kufiya. It started out as a band of murderous cut throats who raided caravans and nothing has changed.

Sure, Christendom has had it's moments also. Contrary to scripture, the Catholic Church and Protestants have warred over the centuries. This is what happens when you allow religion to take over government or when government takes over religion.

In Christendom there are many who call themselves Christians but hold truths that are not entirely consistent with each other. There are Catholics, Baptists, Lutherans, Episcopalians, Presbyterians, Pentecostals, Seventh Day Adventists and what have you. But none of them are targeting other churches or blowing up airport terminals and killing unsuspecting innocents. Not. One.

Sure, every now and then a crazy will off a abortion doctor but that is the rare exception, not the rule. There are no institutional Christian associations or organizations that plan mayhem (dancing with snakes is not considered "mayhem"). And the Jesuits have really chilled out over the years. If a Catholic kills his daughter for dating a Presbyterian boy ... well, that doesn't happen. He just isn't invited over during Lent.

But the animosity between Sunni and Shia Muslims is truly breathtaking. It is Islam In Action, a sandbox nightmare brought to you courtesy of Wahhabism and the zakat, the Muslim 2.5% vigorish on all wealth and income which serves to support terrorists all over the world. They are the felafel version of the Hatfields and McCoys with scimitars and beheadings instead of hogs and black powder. And if they treat their cousins in this fashion, what do you think they'll do to infidels?

The Christian tithe serves to support pastors and missionaries, not AK-47's, RPG's and Semtex. A sacrificial life style in obedience to Christ does not include strapping on a suicide vest and wadding into Walmart on Black Friday.

And that is exactly what these maniacs are planning to do in America --- they have already done this all over the world and just did it again in Brussels. I guarantee that somewhere there are Muslims dancing in the streets and praising Allah because of this, this cowardly outrage.

Brussels - ISIS Just Called And They Want Europe Back

You seriously think that the DHS is going to protect us from this? Well, maybe if the terrorists aren't wearing Gucci shoes.

Cowering under desks and running for their lives, this is the terrifying moment passengers were caught up in an ISIS suicide bomb attack at Brussels Airport today in a series of blasts that have killed at least 34 people and injured 170 across the city.

Witnesses described apocalyptic scenes with blood and 'dismembered bodies everywhere' after two blasts rocked the terminal at around 8am (7am GMT), killing at least 14 people and injuring dozens of others.

Over the centuries Muslims have occupied much of Europe. Charles Martel stopped them in 732 at the Battle of Tours (Tours is only about a 3 or 4 hour ride from the D-Day beaches at Normandy), but there were many more battles to come (846: Muslims invaded and sacked Rome; 849: Battle of Ostia- Muslim invasion of Rome; ninth and tenth centuries, Muslims pillage Sicily and Italy; Sicily would remain under Muslim control for over 250 years). Spain would not finally shake off all vestiges of the Muslim incursion until 1492.

Yeah, 1492. After the fall of Constantinople in 1453 the Muslims stepped up their attacks on Christendom throughout Europe. The 16th century saw more battles, primarily in and around Italy and especially in Malta which had becomes a staging point for European forces.

Slaughter follows Muslim victories like stink follows a broccoli banquet. In Sicily they would kill half the inhabitants of some cities even after promising clemency.

Muslims continued to occupy European countries until the Ottomans were turned back in 1683 at the Battle of Vienna. This was the culmination of 300 years of war between the Ottomans and the Hapsburg dynasties.

What is happening now is just a taste of what will come unless Europe wakes up. And we'd better get serious in a big hurry 'cause ISIS hates us just as much, perhaps even more, than the Europeans.

Then 79 minutes later at 9.19am, at least 20 people were killed and scores injured, some critically, when a blast hit a Metro station just 400 metres from the EU headquarters in the city centre.

At the airport, there were reports of a firefight between police and the attackers who shouted in Arabic moments before detonating their bombs, one of which was understood to contain nails.

An unexploded suicide vest was later found in the rubble and a Kalashnikov rifle beside the body of a dead terrorist. ISIS has claimed responsibility for the attacks.

The blasts, which detonated near a Starbucks and several check-in desks, sent shockwaves through the terminal building, shattering windows and knocking roof tiles off the ceiling as terrified passengers ran for their lives.

The explosions, coming just four months after the Paris attacks, have left countries around the world reeling, with security services placed on high alert, flights cancelled, Eurostar services suspended and France's border with Belgium shut down.
