No Constitutional Crisis

Let's boldly re-enter yesteryear as a sitting President fires an FBI Director. The date is July 19, 1993, and the President is William J. Clinton.

There was no Constitutional crisis.
The firing occurred during the FBI's investigation of Clinton's involvement in Whitewater, the White House Travel Office scandal and Vince Foster's death (July 1993).
There was no panicky media reaction and no one got unhinged.

President Clinton fired FBI Director William S. Sessions yesterday, ending a six-month drama during which the former federal judge refused repeated requests from administration officials to resign.

Clinton telephoned Sessions yesterday afternoon to inform him that he had been fired and then called back several minutes later to remind him that the dismissal was "effective immediately." The president told reporters afterwards that he acted after Attorney General Janet Reno "reported to me in no uncertain terms that he {Sessions} can no longer effectively lead the bureau and law enforcement community" and that he agreed with that assessment.

Clinton, who said it was time to end "the turmoil now in the bureau" and "give the crime fighters the leadership they deserve," is expected to announce today that he has selected federal Judge Louis J. Freeh of Manhattan, a 43-year-old former FBI agent and federal prosecutor, to head the agency. Clinton interviewed Freeh at the White House for two hours on Friday night, press secretary Dee Dee Myers said.

Ever wonder why NJ Gov. Chris "Krispy Kreme" Christie was dumped as the head of Trump's Presidential transition team?

Christie was the US Attorney who put Jared's father in prison. That is no surprise, this information has been out there for a good while. But what did Charles Kushner, Jared's father, do that he plead guilty to federal charges? And not just him, his brother-in-law also.

My take on this is: Trump must have known the story behind the federal prosecution of Charles Kushner prior to announcing his decision last May to select Christie as leader of his transition team. Then right after the election he dumps Christie (and all of Christie's buddies) and replaces him with Pence. Was this also a form of pay back?  Hmmm?

He WIll Not Incite Us

Shia LaPoof just had his live stream "He Will Not Divide Us" protest shut down because of violence. Also a factor was the number of idiots that were entering the NYC museum that hosted the camera; it violated the NYC building code that restricted the number of assholes that could enter a not-for-profit premise.

he Museum of the Moving Image in NYC says it turned off the cam mounted on one of its walls because it had become a "flashpoint for violence." Shia was arrested on January 25 when he allegedly got physical with a protester who showed up to oppose the movement.

There had been other physical altercations where no one was arrested -- with and without Shia -- and NYPD started patrolling the spot regularly.

Can Trump MAGA?

President Trump has promised to male America great again and the nation, half of it anyway, responded very optimistically. The Dow Jones hit 20,000 for the first time and has remained over 19,500 ever since; it's almost 19,900 this morning. After falling below 9,000 in 2009 this seems like an economic miracle. But the DJIA does not give a good picture of the American economy; there is much, much more. There are 92 million American out of work and good manufacturing jobs have left the country, perhaps for good. What jobs are widely available today are part-time retail and service jobs.

This article describes the poor economic condition of our nation and why the globalists like it that way. They have set Trump up as the fall guy when everything heads south as it was designed to do.

As I outlined in my article ‘The False Economic Narrative Will Die In 2017’, the mainstream media has been carefully crafting the propaganda meme that the Trump administration is inheriting a global economy in “ascension,” when in fact, the opposite is true. Trump enters office at a time of longstanding decline and will likely witness severe and accelerated decline over the course of the next year. The signs are already present, and this fits exactly with the basis for my prediction of the Trump election win — conservative movements are indeed being set up as scapegoats for a global economic crisis that international financiers actually created.

Smith lists some economic conditions that Trump probably will not be able to reverse. Sure, there are conspiracy elements to this analysis, but who in their right minds thinks Obama was an accident?

• The government cannot create wealth, it can only take it from one sector and give it to another. Trump promises to stimulate the private sector, but after eight years of Obama and  quantitative easing, is this possible?
• The finances of too many nations are almost hopelessly intertwined due to decades of globalist fiscal manipulation. Because of this interdependency, tariffs will not be as effective in protecting our economic interests. For example, China can seriously damage our economy just by liquidating American debt. Trump must be careful here even though Mexico and Canada are chaffing at the bit to rewrite NAFTA.
• Restoring our manufacturing base will be a long, lengthy process. Demand has to be generated, capital raised, factories built and workers trained. People must also be persuaded to come off the financial supports that have propped them for the past ten years. I'm not just talking about unemployment or welfare. Millions are now on SSI due to "mental depression."

[...]I understand that conservatives in particular want to “make America great again,” and I fully agree with that goal. But, someone has to point out the inconsistencies in the current strategy and recognize that the situation is beyond repair. To make America great again would require decentralized efforts to maximize production and self reliance at a local level, not centralized federal tinkering with the economy. The globalists have been far too thorough in their programs of interdependency. The only way out now is for the system to crash and for the right people to be in place to rebuild.

Trump has stated that our economy is in dismal shape, a dialogue in direct opposition to the economists, globalists and market seers who have been busily blowing fiscal  sunshine up our buttholes, wallets. They are lying. There are 92 million Americans (what the crap! That's the population of France and Australia combined!) sitting at home who can testify to this.

Many legislative and administrative fixes must be realized to help America become great again and there are political obstacles that must be overcome. Obama had the democrat dogs dry humping his leg and now they are baying after Trump like a bunch of bluetick hounds trying to tree a racoon.

If the Republicans can rein in McCain and other Republicans suffering from egomania/dementia and keep a majority in the House and Senate, his chances of succeeding are greatly increased.

Brexit Is Working

Aside from Muslims, the NHS and Prince Charles, the Brits are doing better.

It's one thing to predict a disaster that doesn't happen. It's quite another to predict bad news and have things turn out pretty darned well, which is thus far what has occurred. You'd never know it from reading U.S.-based establishment press coverage, but the UK economy, as reported in the UK Times, "ended last year as the strongest of the world’s advanced economies with growth accelerating in the six months after the Brexit vote."

The result is so completely the opposite of what was predicted that the chief economist at England's central bank, in a moment of refreshing candor that folks in the U.S. can only wish they would see coming from our Federal Reserve, has admitted that economists committed historically serious forecasting errors.

Otou and Katayama Yumi did not speak for 20 years because he was jealous

Drop The Snake And Back Away

It's time for Republicans to once again fasten their seat belts, but this time for a good reason.

Vice President-elect Mike Pence told House Republicans in a closed-door meeting Thursday to be ready to move a lot of legislation next year. 

“We’re going to move an agenda” focused on rebuilding the military and improving the economy, Pence told reporters after the meeting. 

In his remarks to House Republicans, Pence talked about how he and the new administration wanted members to “buckle up,” and get ready for a speedy start on policy. He also solicited suggestions for candidates to fill administration posts. 

“Donald Trump is a man of action and we’re counting on you,” Pence said, according to Ways and Means Chairman Kevin Brady. The Texas Republican said that Pence mentioned a tax overhaul and Obamacare, but didn’t get into specifics.

initiates legislation that will supply free stool softener to seniors.

Rep. Nancy Pelosi formally announced Wednesday she is running to retain her spot as House minority leader and sent a warning shot to potential rivals by informing her colleagues that she has already locked up “the support of more than two-thirds” of the Democratic caucus.

Mrs. Pelosi has led the caucus since 2003, but the results of the election last week convinced the caucus to delay a scheduled vote this week on leadership posts until Nov. 30, with members saying they want more time to digest the shellacking the party took.

Rep. Tim Ryan of Ohio, meanwhile, has emerged as a potential challenger and has warned that the party has lost touch with working-class voters in the Rust Belt and Midwest that it will need to recapture a House majority.

Mrs. Pelosi, though, made it clear in a letter to her colleagues Wednesday that she does not plan on giving up her post.

Google In The Bag For Hillary

Google apparently has modified it's autocomplete searches to Hillary Clinton's benefit. From the Washington Free Beacon:

“Crime” and “indictment” are not the only terms Google is keeping hidden from searches of Hillary Clinton, a Washington Free Beacon analysis finds search terms associated with Clinton appear to have been scrubbed from Google as the tech giant has been accused of manipulating its autocomplete results to favor the Democratic presidential candidate.

Matt Lieberman of SourceFed released a video showing examples of Google skewing its autocomplete results for Clinton, while other search engines simply display the most searched terms.

“While researching for a wrap-up on the June 7 Presidential Primaries, we discovered evidence that Google may be manipulating autocomplete recommendations in favor of Hillary Clinton,” SourceFed wrote. “If true, this would mean that Google Searches aren’t objectively reflecting what the majority of Internet searches are actually looking for, possibly violating Google’s algorithm.”

I did a "Hillary Indictment" search on a few different engines and this is what I found on the first page of each search results:

Google, 72% of hits could be seen as favorable

Yahoo, 61% of hits could be seen as not favorable

Bing, 80% of hits could be seen as not favorable

It's All About The Rice Bowl Stupid

The 2016 Presidential election is alll about Republicans, Democrats and corporate America fighting for their rice bowls. Jeb Bush, Hillary Clinton, Ted Cruz, et alia, are schlepping the same baggage.

Underneath all the sturm and drang of this political season is the one true fact that seems to get lost in the shuffle. It is that America is still the greatest country on earth because it is still free and it will become even stronger and greater if the electorate would just do its homework and vote smart.

Backing the Jebster as an allegedly strong contender for the Presidency is a good way to lose your shirt. The biggest donors to the Jeb! campaign threw about $40 million into the pot.

The 2016 election began with roughly 20 major candidates—most on the Republican side—and at least 10 of them had super PACs able to raise six- and seven-figure donations from wealthy backers. Jeb Bush was the undisputed king of the super PACs.

Before he dropped out of the race on Feb. 20, Bush had the benefit of more super PAC money—roughly $120 million – than the next four candidates combined. His super PAC—Right to Rise—seemed likely to be the best funded in American history. Little good all that money did. In three primary states, Bush’s best finish was fourth. A campaign swollen with money never clicked with voters.

Miguel Fernandez flushed $3.2 million down the Jeb Crapper.
Ray and Nancy Hunt fumbled $2.4 big ones out of Presidential bounds.

What a shame.

Will someone please tell me that these folks are just simple, civic-minded citizens trying to facilitate the continuance of good government? I need the laugh...

Trump v. Cruz

Other bloggers have been digging into Ted Cruz' personality and his ethics.
Both are found to be wanting.

Some interesting material found in The Last Refuge. Particularly informative in the "ethics" section is the documentation showing Cruz' participation in possible fraud in the 2014 Missouri Republican Senate primary between Thad Cochran and Chris McDaniel.

Cruz' personality -

Forget about trying to graph, measure or quantify how sharp Donald Trump’s political instincts are, he’s just off the charts. However, his decision to spotlight Ted Cruz’s greatest weakness, “the personality of Cruz“, the “in-authenticity”, is beyond brilliant.

Not only did Donald Trump win the seventh GOP debate by not showing up; and not only did Trump avoid the best laid ambush plans of the Fox News team; and not only did Donald Trump raise well over $6 million for American veterans; but by removing himself from the debate stage – Trump’s absence forced Ted Cruz out of the shadows and into the brightest possible sunlight.

Candidate Trump previously stated: “Ted Cruz is just a nasty person” – and by all accounts the pontificating arrogance and personality of Ted Cruz was not only captured by the broadcast, but for the first time Iowans who tuned-in saw first hand WHY Ted Cruz is the loneliest man in Washington DC.

His ethics -

The original Tea Party patriots, grassroots, supported Senators Rand Paul and Ted Cruz. Many people in the past several months have asked when we discovered that Cruz was a fraud. We have repeatedly outlined a very specific time frame when Ted Cruz’s “pivot point” was identified.

In this video (prompted to @03:10) you hear Glenn Beck mention when and why he gave up on Rand Paul. Beck claims he became disgusted with the Senator when he made a deal with Mitch McConnell. You only need to see about 30 seconds of it to understand.

Senator Rand Paul and Senator Ted Cruz made the same deal, together, at exactly the same time.

Stop – Repeat !

“The deal”, as Beck describes it, was actually real – and did actually take place. The deal was to go along with Senate Minority leader Mitch McConnell’s overall objectives, electoral objectives AND legislative objectives, as the GOP entered into the 2014 mid-term election cycle.

Trump is now coming under fire for posting a likely photoshopped picture of Meghan Kelly and some Saudi prince. I doubt Trump has ever photoshopped anything, probably a rabid underling got this going. I am much more interested in Cruz' participation in undermining a fellow Republican.

The Donald v. Hillary

Hillary's panties are all wadded up, again, 'cause Trump is noting but  a big old mean, meany bully.

She's upset that Trump used vulgar language to describe her last Presidential election debacle and he referred to her possible bladder issues when she disappeared during the last Democratic debate.

God help us all if this woman is elected. She'll be the second President in a row without any balls.

And One Party To Rule Them All

I was raised on Long Island, NY, and have plenty of great memories of Merrick, East Meadow and Smithtown. My mom still lives in Suffolk County. My dad was a rock rib Republican so I was a little dismayed, but not surprised, when I read that the feds are investigating just about every state politician who is a Republican on the Island.

Of course the facts that there are Democrats in the White House and the Governor's Office and the feds are leading the charge doesn't mean a thing *cough*.

Nassau County’s highest-ranking official and nearly all of Long Island’s state senators have been subpoenaed as part of a federal grand-jury probe targeting state Senate Majority Leader Dean Skelos and his son, sources told The Post on Thursday.

County Executive Ed Mangano, a fellow Republican, appeared before the secret panel last week and was asked about various contracts signed by the county, said a government source briefed on the case. 

Eight of Long Island’s nine state senators — all Republicans — also were issued subpoenas directing them to cough up documents, NY1 reported. Skelos, the ninth senator, has yet to be subpoenaed, sources said.

Skelos is under investigation in connection with a $12 million deal for a stormwater-treatment system that Nassau’s Department of Public Works inked in 2013 with a money-losing Arizona company, despite having received a lower bid from a rival firm, according to The New York Times.

Not that the Republicans aren't dirty - after all it is Nassau County we're talking about - but when only one political party is targeted, my bullshit detector gets all jiggy.
