Obama spoke to 6th Graders in Falls Church, Virginia on Tuesday January 19, 2010.
He brought his TelePrompter.
He sure wouldn’t want to go off message when speaking to 6th graders.
How sad.

Can you say "insecure"? This man can't speak until a perfect setting has been established, one which reminds him of his role.
Good grief, this reminds me of Jimmy Carter and his battle with the "swamp rabbit". The man was so clueless he insisted on showing the video clip to news reporters covering the White House, just to prove he had been attacked by a bunny (never mind the implication of what kind of man becomes prey for rabbits).
Now this doofus shows up to speak to a 6th grade class from a teleprompter?
Please tell me you photoshopped this.
For me, a good musician has to be able to cut it, live, otherwise how else do you know if he's really the one singing and strumming that old geetar?
It's very important to get IT right.
TF... Give him credit. He left the Greek columns out in his pick-up.
Subvet... Carter was vilified for the Big Bunny story until last summer's Las Vegas lapine attack on beloved comedian Carrot Top.
Hoggy... to be fair, I understand the teleprompters were set up for a subsequent meeting with the press. But, c'mon... can you imagine JFK or Ronald Reagan needing a teleprompter for a photo shoot?
Yeah, Woody, and he's got IT down perfectly.
He looks silly, as usual, with all presentation set up to give a speech to 11 and 12 year olds.
As Gertrude said "There's no there there!"
he really looks ridiculous and doesn't even suspect it.
good Lord what a joke this man is..can not everyone see how inept!!!!...blah blah blah!
This guy needs a podium with the presidential seal to speak to the press? Don't we all know who he is by now? And doesn't this just prove that without TOTUS he is a complete boob?
A genuine set of double D's.
I saw the video on White House dot gov. Obama looked left and right like he was watching a tennis match, looking off into space and not down at the children. It looked silly on video, I imagine even sillier in person.
Throwing off the vibes that he was not there to speak to the kids. He wanted to speak to the world. The kids were just props.
