I've Got A Phone And A Chainsaw

President Trump is "trimming" the federal budget. Let's listen to the screams:
Bureaucrats braved a bad week.

Donald Trump proposes cuts of 29 percent to the State Department, 21 percent to the Departments of Agriculture and Labor, 18 percent to Health and Human Services, and 31 percent to the Environmental Protection Agency in a partial outline of his budget entitled “America First: A Budget Blueprint to Make America Great Again.” Defense, Veterans Affairs, Homeland Security, and programs supporting school choice receive boosts. For pretty much everything else, Trump lowers the boom.
If you don't cut off unproductive limbs on a fruit tree, you don't get good fruit. But this is more like cutting off hunks of gangrenous flesh.

Story here.

Screams here at #notmypresident:

Puppets. Where are the giant puppets?

 Purge? Damn straight Sugarlips.

Whack that budget big time!

Liberal puppet lives matter...

I approve of his cuts and his refusal to hire in the bloated social welfare programs. It's not as though we don't have enough of the parasites. Will housing values drop in DC? Possibly, as housing becomes more available because of the people moving either in with parents/family or off to another location and a job in a (more productive) occupation.

I like what he has done so far, but I want him to do away with the EPA,and cut congressional pay. AND while I am at it, I want anyone, in any VA that does not hang President Trump's picture, fired.

Odie - he's taking huge chunks. They can't do as much damage when they don't have the people.

LL - DC is the most prosperous area in the nation. Time for a change.

Linda - I don;t think he can cut Congressional salaries. That's something that they have to do. What I would really like to see is Congressional pensions outlawed completely. No more serve two years and go on the pampered dole forever. And force them to accept Obamacare or whatever other healthcare mess they pass.

Get ready for useless bastards on the public dole to be acting like vampires being drug out into the sunlight.

There are at least another 200 agencies to eliminate.

CUT ! CUT ! CUT !

800,000 non-essential federal employees. Get Rid of them !

Linda, Delete the VA and place Vets with private doctors. It will be Much less expensive.

Kid and Linda,

And many of us vets hate the V.A. When they aren't misdiagnosing or mistreating, they are screwing with us. They almost forced me to lose my drivers license and almost got my house taken from me. Not my friends or allies. As I've said before, there isn't a single employee in the V.A. who gets less than 100% disabled service-connected vets, not even janitors. It's employment for union workers, not a benefit to us. Burn it down.

Sig, either of those would be good, yes. With no Golden parachute, maybe fewer slimeballs would run.

Kid, my hubby says the same thing. Time to privatize. I am still waiting for an eye appointment in the civilian world though, so it's not all roses...

Doom, hubby has mostly had good with the VA; but I think you are all right. Time for something new.

Sorry to hear that Linda. I recently has some cataract surgery at the Cincinnati Eye Institute. What an excellent place. I hope something like that is available to you.

Doom, mayve we could organize and get a whitehouse petition created and promptly get over 100,000 sigs.

I honestly don't believe in petitions. I think those are bogus political push dumps. They do what they like. They know the VA is a problem. It might be too big, and connected with other agencies, to properly deal with it. It's also a more private place to bury secrets.

I know, I may seem difficult to please. But I am so angry with them at this point. And I don't trust petitions. They know people are dying waiting, they know people are getting messed up, they have known for years, both parties, when each has had complete control. A petition isn't going anywhere. Frustrated.

Doom, Yea if you told me government does what it wants to do (which you just did) I couldn't argue.

Time for an ar.........
