The Pink Slime Lawsuit Against ABC Stands

A judge in South Dakota has cleared the way to trial of a lawsuit claiming ABC News “pink slime” coverage caused $1.9 billion of damage to the business of Beef Products Inc., which makes the meat product tagged with the term.

Judge Cheryle Gering threw out defamation claims against anchor Diane Sawyer but left standing accusations against ABC News and multiple Emmy award-winning journalist, Jim Avila.

Judge Gering, in rejecting ABC’s bid to have the case dismissed, said a jury could find the network was pursuing “a negative spin” on the story before conducting any research and that Mr. Avila had an anti-meat-industry agenda.

Couldn't happen to a nicer bunch of people. Unfortunately the suit against Diane Lyin' Sawyer was thrown out.

My sister was interviewed by Sawyer back in either 1989 or 1990. She was the regional rep for an anti-abortion organization and was invited to be interviewed on 60 Minutes. The producer sent a limo out to eastern Long Island to pick her up and bring her to Manhattan.

There was  a studio audience present and the interview lasted almost an hour. She said that it was clear that Sawyer was out to embarrass her and tried every trick in the book to make her look bad.

My sister is one of the sweetest and most reasonable gals on the planet and it didn't work. She called me soon after and told me what transpired. A few weeks later she learned that her interview would not be aired.We weren't surprised. Sis makes a very compelling narrative against abortion and Sawyer et al. would not allow this to be shown to the public.

Sis is still very active in pro-life circles down in Maryland.

President Trump Rope-A-Doping The Media

This American Thinker article pretty much speaks my mind when it comes to Trumpisms.

I admit, President Trump does come out with a cringe-worthy remark/tweet every now and then (maybe more often than that) but that's just the Queens (NYC) in him sneaking out. It's irrepressible. I've heard guys like this before and it doesn't bother me. What bothers me is when a President mouths politically correct nonsense on one hand and outright lies on the other and then does his best to destroy America with the media applauding every step of the way.

Unlike prior Republican Presidents, Trump's got the media on the run and they don't like it. Not since the days of Ronald Reagan has the media been staggered by a presidential rope-a-dope. He is his own man and, unlike his predecessors, he speaks his mind regardless of  how the media screams:

• Certainly not George W. Bush, who let them hammer him into a dismal 28% approval rating over the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, the weapons of mass destruction, Abu Ghraib, the banking crisis, etc.
• Certainly not John McCain, who let the liberal media cast him as an old, out-of-touch, nervous candidate with a nutcase for his VP running mate.
• And certainly not Mitt Romney, who let Candy Crowley and Obama roll him like a street drunk over Benghazi and the “terrorism” word in their second Presidential debate, on foreign policy.

It is amazing how his approval ratings remain stable despite the media's relentless attacks on him. This speaks to the trust that his supporters have in him and his efforts to maintain that relationship. More importantly, it speaks to the nation's distrust of the media and he is faithful in his efforts to hammer them over and over again.

Rasmussen had him at 52% approval last week, a very good mark for any president, and one that’s particularly astonishing in light of the unprecedented, unrelenting liberal attacks on him. He’s doing more, sooner, than any president in recent memory. He speaks directly to the issues that matter to the people and he says what he’ll do without equivocation, doubletalk or dancing.

It doesn't appear that he will change his delivery. It has worked for him in business and in politics and he sees no reason to switch gears. He communicates directly with the American people and by doing so he by passes the liberal media filters. "Fake News" was a master piece, a simple slap in the face that resounds every time he uses it. It has left a mark.

No Fear

One reporter takes a step back and provides a good summary of President Trump's treatment of the media at the last press conference.

It seems most politicians fear the media, or at the very least they are afraid of offending their sensibilities resulting in negative coverage. Not so with Trump, who spoke his mind, refused to let the reporters gain any kind of control or authority and limited their questions when he felt they had said enough.

I still think that CNN's Acosta went over the line and should have been spanked more harshly than he was. But the President was very patient and handled him courteously. Acosta is an arrogant fool and his WH press credentials should be revoked. The transcript of this exchange can be read here.

Trump Spanks The Media

President Trump held a press conference this afternoon and used this opportunity to slap the media around. You can listen to it here or read Rush Limbaugh's transcript of the presser here.

Trump excoriated the press and their "very fake news" in a way that no other President has done. It was like a terrier shaking a rat. But he does it in such a non-threatening way; no shouting or vilifying or name calling. Trump has a way of dealing with unpleasant subjects that makes it hard to get offended - as long as you're not a loon. Loons are different: difficult, unpleasant people. Lefty loons are even worse. Yeah, if you're a loon there is nothing that you can't take offense at.

Legal Insurrection has an article that relates how the media continues to have a royal snit over their education under Teacher Trump's tutelage.

"The journalists at ABC on Wednesday erupted in “open hostility” to Donald Trump, accusing the President of “shutting down part of the First Amendment” by not calling on network reporters at a press conference with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Jon Karl, Cecilia Vega and Matt Dowd repeatedly whined about the “conservative” questioners who were chosen, lamenting that the preferred narrative of the liberal media wasn’t highlighted.

In the post-press conference coverage, Vega ranted, “I want to tell you about the open hostility right here in this room. You know, I’m sitting right here kind of in the middle of the pack of a number of journalists, mainstream reporters, if you will, and there is open anger in here about the fact the President did not take any real questions about the issue of the day.”

Angry liberal tears are best served chilled, shaken not stirred, with a shot of derision.

Of course the Times fails to mention Obama's failed foreign policies. Aided by his first Secretary of Scandal,  the Great Bowing and Scraping Initiative of his Administrative has produced nothing but terror and instability throughout the world.

• Libya and Syria are in flaming ruins.
• Egypt barely managed to avoid the same fate. 
• Tunisia is now run by terrorists. 
• Iran still provides armaments to terrorists throughout the region and is on the threshold of producing its own nuclear weapons. 
• Russia invaded Ukraine and now has massed troops, missiles and armor along its borders. 
• China is militarizing and claiming mineral rich and vital commercial waterways in the South China Sea.
• In response to China, Viet Nam is doing the same albeit on a smaller scale.
• North Korea has finally manged to get a intermediate range ballistic missile off the launch pad. 
• The Philippines - well, a former ally told us to f**k off.

Scores of world leaders are calling President-elect Trump. I guess they no longer are calling Obama.

But none of this penetrates the Times' frenzied Obamagasm. On the other hand, let her enjoy it. In the very near future they'll be few and far between.

Donald Trump’s media summit was a ‘f—ing firing squad’

It was long overdue.

Donald Trump scolded media big shots during an off-the-record Trump Tower sitdown on Monday, sources told The Post.

“It was like a f–ing firing squad,” one source said of the encounter.

“Trump started with [CNN chief] Jeff Zucker and said ‘I hate your network, everyone at CNN is a liar and you should be ashamed,’ ” the source said.

“The meeting was a total disaster. The TV execs and anchors went in there thinking they would be discussing the access they would get to the Trump administration, but instead they got a Trump-style dressing down,” the source added.

A second source confirmed the fireworks.

Liars. He called them all deceitful liars. They were all major media bigwigs, network top executives. And he chewed them out, insulted them.  Called them unpleasant names, this to people who surround themselves with ass kissers.

They all must be thinking along these lines, "This guy has has about 25,000 investigators and a bazillion forensic accountants he could unleash all over my organization if he wants. And he's pissed at me; plus the guy who he is appointing as Attorney General also hates my guts and his people own both Houses."

This is perhaps Trumps preemptive strike against the media blitzkrieg that they are preparing. He's letting them know that his name isn't Bush and that if they unleash their hounds on him he will respond.

Trump spokeswoman Kellyanne Conway told reporters the gathering went well.

“Excellent meetings with the top executives of the major networks,” she said during a gaggle in the lobby of Trump Tower. “Pretty unprecedented meeting we put together in two days.”

Ahh, wasn't that sweet of Kellyanne. I like the way she used "unprecedented" to describe a  future President, the most powerful man in the world, bitch slapping a group of unsavory people. About time too.

Trump Derangement Syndrome At A Frenzy

For the liberal media, it's all Trump all the time.
Haven't seen mass hysteria/panic like this since the Black Plague hit Paris in 1348.

Even having predicted that the media’s attacks on Trump would be unprecedented, I’m still amazed. Every single news outlet is dedicated to hysterically denouncing Trump, every minute of every day, while cooing at Hillary.

Everything Hillary has ever touched has failed, been engulfed in scandal, resulted in massive investigations, litigation, financial ruin, prison or death. The final stage of any Hillary enterprise is a grand announcement that Hillary did not technically break the law. Or no one can prove she did. Or, even if she did, no one ever gets prosecuted for it.

She’s prone to coughing fits and lapses of memory in the middle of speeches, and falls down all the time. But that’s not nearly as important as the media’s manufactured story about Trump throwing a baby out of a rally!

Trump is supposed to be joined at the hip to David Duke based on not “disavowing” him with sufficient ferocity the 17th time he was asked about this person he’s never met, never mentioned and didn’t invite to speak at his convention.

What A Surprise

Confidence in newspapers has hit an all time low in the latest Gallup survey, and TV news is also at a new low, the latest proof that Americans are losing faith in the media.

Gallup found that just 20 percent have confidence in newspapers, a 10-point drop in 10 years. TV news saw an identical 10-point drop, from 31 percent to 21 percent.

The RNC Tells NBC To Pound Sand

The Republican National Committee finally grew a pair.

The Republican National Committee (RNC) officially voted on Monday afternoon to sever its business relationship with NBC News for the previously-scheduled Feb. 26, 2016, GOP presidential primary debate, Breitbart News has learned.

This is quite a slap in the face and will cost NBC big time in lost revenue. I wouldn't let NBC, or any of the major nets for that matter, moderate a junior high school gay slap fest.

Another Media Blackout

In the hours after a deranged man killed nine people and injured others at Oregon’s Umpqua Community College, a vast segment of the mainstream media immediately attacked guns, Republicans, conservatives and the National Rifle Association.

As usual, President Barack Obama danced on the graves of the deceased in an attempt to push his gun control agenda, just like he’s done after every mass shooting. It was truly a disgusting display.

Conservative Hollywood actor James Woods pointed out another interesting media omission that should be at the forefront of the story — the fact that the media forgot to emphasize that the shooter asked nearly every victim what religion they were. According to eyewitness reports, answering “Christian” was a death sentence.

Woods took to his Twitter account not long after the shooting and made a prediction that ended up being a massive truth bomb. “If it is determined that the Oregon shooter targeted Christians specifically, that’s the last we will hear of it on MSM,” Woods wrote.

The next day, he was proven right, when he called out The New York Times for leaving out the part about Christians dying.

“NY Times writes a front page story about a hate massacre targeting Christians without using the word ‘Christians.'” Woods posted on Twitter.

Not long after witnesses described the chilling motive of the shooter, all but a few mainstream outlets reported every tiny detail about the shooting that they knew of … except for the whole Christian part.

One only has to look at a recent mass shooting case to see the media’s true motivation. Within hours after the Charleston, South Carolina, church shooting, the white killer was immediately linked to the KKK and other hate groups. It was the first part of most of the headlines over the following days and weeks.

And let’s be completely honest, if the killer were white and specifically targeted Muslims or other “protected” religions and ethnicities, we wouldn’t hear the end of it.

But Christians? Nah, no big deal, right?

On the first day we saw the North Charleston, South Carolina, shooting video of Walter Scott by Officer Michael Slager we were as shocked as everyone. However, as research now indicates there is much more to the story.

As we have heard, "In war the first victim is truth." The liberal media is at war with conservatives and has been for decades.

There is no lie too small that they will not hysterically bleat to the world, nor any truth so large that they will not bury it.

The South Carolina Walter Scott shooting -by Police Officer Michael Slager- is absolutely filled with intentionally missing elements in an effort by ALL INTERESTED PARTIES to sell a narrative useful for their purposes.

What does that mean? It means this is not just a legal issue; it means the shooting is being manipulated for a political benefit; it means the substance in the media reports are there to sell a purposeful narrative from one singular perspective.

EXAMPLE: All of the police officers initial incident reports have been released, except Officer Slager.

Why omit Officer Slager’s statement?

Perhaps missing because that only way the narrative sellers can claim discrepancies, ie. “lies” in the Slager report. That’s how you embed a belief in the public when the truth is divergent. Promote the lie, hide the inconvenient truth. Then, eventually, when the truth comes out, the lie has already embedded – “Hands Up, Don’t Shoot”…

And, yes, the victim was administered first aid at the scene, just as the police said.

Horrific video of American freelance photo-journalist James Wright Foley, 40, being beheaded by ISIS in revenge for US airstrikes in Iraq was posted to the internet Tuesday afternoon.

Foley, has been missing since November, 2012, after being taken hostage at gunpoint while reporting from Taftanaz, in northern Syria, for the agency, GlobalPost.

ISIS posted the extremely graphic video titled 'A message to America' to social media as proof of their barbaric actions.

In a chilling warning at the end of grisly film, the executioner, who has what sounds like a British accent, paraded another American journalist, Steven Joel Sotloff, who went missing in August 2013, saying: 'The life of this American citizen, Obama, depends on your next decision.'

The Liberals Have An Inexhaustible Supply Of Tools

According to another self-styled expert, Jesus never existed; he was merely a creation of the Roman Empire intended to inflict psychological damage on the Jooos.

The media just love a good Christian tear-down. One of the most recent efforts being promoted right now is by a self-styled "biblical scholar" named Joseph Atwill, who will be presenting at a conference this weekend.

Atwill, who has no formal theological training and who declines to call himself an atheist, nonetheless claims that Jesus never existed but was invented as a form of psychological warfare by the Romans against the Jews.

Atwill claims that the stories of Jesus' ministry were concocted (he doesn't specify by whom) as what he calls a "prefigurement" of the military campaign of Emperor Titus Flavius.

The whole conspiracy theory would be easy to dismiss except that, like Dan Brown's "DaVinci Code" years before it, it has caught the imaginations of the atheists in the media.

Atwill says he uncovered the coverup while reading Josephus' "Wars of the Jews," an account of first-century Judea, alongside the Gospels and saw parallels in the locations of Jesus' ministry activities and Flavius' war against the Jews as described by Josephus.

In a press release, Atwill said, "Although it’s been recognized by Christian scholars for centuries that the prophesies of Jesus appear to be fulfilled by what Josephus wrote about in the First Jewish-Roman war, I was seeing dozens more. What seems to have eluded many scholars is that the sequence of events and locations of Jesus ministry are more or less the same as the sequence of events and locations of the military campaign of [Emperor] Titus Flavius as described by Josephus. This is clear evidence of a deliberately constructed pattern. The biography of Jesus is actually constructed, tip to stern, on prior stories, but especially on the biography of a Roman Caesar."

Another totally unqualified, so called bible expert disparages our Savior.

"What seems to have eluded many scholars" is always the prequel to having one's head up one's ass.

The bible is the most heavily criticized and analyzed book in the history of Mankind. There is more documentation to the historical existence of Jesus than there is for most persons of Antiquity, but Atwill saw through the clever two thousand year old Roman political ruse and saved us all from further embarrassment. That Christianity sprung from a Roman plot and eventually supplanted the Empire must have had Titus Flavius going "Oh, snap!" in his grave.

We Are All Chris Lane

Oprah will not be shedding a tear for this young man.

Chris Young, a 22 year old white college athelete from Australia, was murdered by three black teens because

they were bored.

 These scumbags drove up behind him and shot him in the back.

Apparently this murder may have been a gang initiation hit. To join these animals' club you don't have to chug a quart of white vinegar, you have to off some poor soul.
