Hello. Is there anybody in there. Just nod if you can hear me. Is there anyone at home?
from http://abcnews.go.com/WN/Politics/president-obama-lost-touch-american-people-year/story?id=9613462
Ok, we are going to have to break this tripe down line by line, as there is so much malarkey to deal with it just boggles the mind...
President Obama said today that he believes he lost a direct connection to the American people in his first year in office because he focused too heavily on policymaking.
...No, Really?!
"If there's one thing that I regret this year is that we were so busy just getting stuff done and dealing with the immediate crises that were in front of us that I think we lost some of that sense of speaking directly to the American people about what their core values are and why we have to make sure those institutions are matching up with those values."
...No Obot one. You spent this year speaking AT the American people about what their core values SHOULD be. Like your core values of Marxism, Race baiting, union and muslim terrorist coddling, Destruction of the rule of law for the rule of Chicago. End runs around the Constitution and tradition. Ad Nauseum...
The president said he made a mistake in assuming that if he focused on policy decisions, the American people would understand the reasoning behind them.
...Oh, the citizens who are not trapped in race hatred, entitlement mongering, Bush derangement or uber-partisan politics syndrome understand your reasoning all too well. Your reasons are the reasons of treason. Your reasons for the things you and your hacks do are the reasons of tyranny, destruction, misery and death. They are the reasons of Lenin, Stalin, Hitler, Mao, Pol pot and countless other tyrants over the life span of man. And WE the people have enough of us who can think for ourselves and see behind the curtain. We do not like what we see at all...
"That I do think is a mistake of mine," Obama said. "I think the assumption was if I just focus on policy, if I just focus on this provision or that law or if we're making a good rational decision here, then people will get it."
...Like I said, WE get it. Your mindless drones vomiting your poisonous talking points don't get it. They get the undercurrent of that your promising them something that someone else will pay for, and it excites the base consumer in them. Those who live for more that putting their hand to mouth with a goody to shove in their maw understand that your (ration)al decision will lead to our abasement and decent into third world poverty at the hands of "spreading the wealth around". We the people don't like your core value of theft to support your parasite class that hangs on your every word...
Instead, the president said the American people ended up with a "feeling of remoteness and detachment" from the policymakers in Washington who are making big decisions.
...Because those policy makers are making fundamentally Un-American decisions...
"I think, you know, what they ended up seeing is this feeling of remoteness and detachment where there's these technocrats up here making decisions. Maybe some of them are good, maybe some of them aren't, but do they really get us and what we're going through?" he said.
...We know you have not got a clue and frankly could care less about what we are going through. You have your own alien set of values and are hell bent on imposing them upon us...
Obama said he felt he could do a better job connecting to the American people in his second year in office.
...Stop acting like a dictator and you might have a chance. Like that is going to happen...
"I think that I can do a better job of that, and partly because I do believe that we're in a stronger position now than we were a year ago," he said.
...Is this code speech for we are locking down the system to our advantage, and once we do we are going to use it to beat you into submission with it? Controlling our access to health care is an important step towards that goal. So is breaking us with self destructive economic policy, leaving our families vulnerable to hunger and homelessness. All in getting payback for past imagined wrongs of course. Middle America is evil and they need a dose of fear and terror to put them in the victim's place, like the victim's the selfish middle class created in it's quest for consumption.
Well Mr. Obama, Let Mr. Brown's victory chime a nasty tone in your ear. You are on notice. We the people you dislike so much have had our fill of your hope and Marxist change. Leave us alone. Or else...

I hope he stays delusional. The more he shows up on TV "connecting with the American people," the less chance he'll be re-elected in 2012.
He needs to focus on the teleprompter. It's the only thing he really knows.
He is doing a great job energizing conservatives. Let's not interrupt him at his work.
Toaster -- give him a break. Dear Leader gave 491 speeches in front of partisan crowds, played golf 50+ times, went on vacation a few times. The opportunity to inform us as to what our core values are, where extremely limited. Never before has a man faced such periless peril. Just this week he had to give the red cross the authority to bring thousands of Haitian refuges to Orlando, Florida. I mean to step on states rights is tiresome. To grant them immediate citizenship is something he and the all powerful Oz can do.
So we need to be a tad more understanding of his unyielding efforts to secure the freedoms that we once knew. sharky
Toaster, I believe you have nailed down the Zeitgeist in this piece.
Obama still doesn't (and never will) 'get it.'
He sees things not going his way, and assumes external forces have blurred 'the vision thing,' when he should (but won't) look inward for the explanations of why things are going awry for him and his cronies. We all see it, but he refuses to even consider that most if not all of this anger is directly caused by his world views that are markedly not held by the vast majority of Americans. Even Americans in the Bay State, if you can believe that.
If Massachusetts voters don't like him all that much, you can take it to the bank that the rest of us loathe him.
He thinks he lost his connection with the American people? The only connection he lost was his hypnotic control over the mindless masses who voted for him. Like Amy. These were the people who ignored all the evidence that the president is a socialist and only now act surprised because he’s acting like…a socialist! If the president believes that he is in a better position now than he was a year ago then he is delusional. That line was pure political speak for, “We’re screwed and we know it.”
This comment was brought to you by a 35+ white male Republican douche with lent attached who uses the internet for battleground, to attack "intelligently,” and indirectly throw bullshit at the President in a "nice nasty" way. In case you were wondering.
I think that HE can hear us now!
Who would have thought you could relate to the president of the United States with a Pink Floyd song...
While we're at it, how about a few other Pink Floyd songs...
"Run Like Hell" that's what he's doing now...
"Money" He's spending all of ours...
"Wish You Were Here" referring to Martha Coakley...
"On The Turning Away" what we're doing to his Obamacare...
"Us And Them" the weasels in Washington and the majority of the American public...
"Learning To Fly" what he's going to need to do to escape this mess he's got us in...
"Dogs of War" what war, we'll just charm our enemies into submission...
OK, lunch is over, got to get back to work...
I have seen rotting tree stumps covered with mushrooms that are more aware of their surroundings than Obama. All signs point to the fact that His Royal Highness really thinks the world revolves around his bad self.
A very dangerous trait for the man who holds the launch codes to 2500+ nuclear weapons, commands 13 aircraft carriers, and has Nancy (the MASK) in his back pocket...
