Nevada - It was a crap shoot and it came up snake eyes.
LAS VEGAS (AP) -- State officials say Nevada's unemployment rate rose in December to 13 percent.That was up seven-tenths of a percent from November, and begins to approach the 13.3 percent record set in September.
Illinois - Abandon Hope All Ye Who Work Here.
Illinois lost more than 237,000 jobs in the past year, including nearly 71,000 manufacturing jobs, helping drive the December unemployment rate to 11.1 percent, the state employment agency reported today.
Hope N' Change is spreading all over the Nation.
The report said all 50 states had an unemployment rate in December that was higher than a year earlier. Michigan again had the highest rate of unemployment at 14.6%.
Maybe metastasizing is a better word.

sig - I was going to chime in with statistics on my home state of Arizona, which lost as many jobs this month as it gained last month says the AP in this article...
But I'll be darned if the Arizona Republic website does not even have an article on its website offering any solid numbers!?!
But alas.. there's no bias in the media...

Check out Perry Co. Tennessee, I bet it is closer to 25% unemployment. This is due to their single largest employer which manufactured belts for the automotive industry moving it's plant to Mexico!

Metastasizing is a great way to describe it. Thanks to Obama's stimulus plan, and our state legislature's anti-business policies, unemployment in Rhode Island is now at 12.9 percent and still rising.
