Obama has a little surprise for you.
Gun owners... look what's on the 2010 tax return VERIFIED – TRUE by snopes.com.
Senate Bill SB-2099 will require us to put on our 2009 1040 federal tax form all guns that you have or own. It will require fingerprints and a tax of $50 per gun.
This bill was introduced on Feb.. 24, 2009, by the Omama staff. BUT . . this bill will only become public knowledge 30 days after the new law becomes effective ! This is an amendment to the Internal Revenue Act of 1986. This means that the Finance Committee has passed this without the Senate voting on it at all. Trust Obama ? ….. you must be kidding!
The full text of the IRS amendment is on the U.S. Senate homepage, U.S. Senate You can find the bill by doing a search by the bill number, SB-2099.
You know who to call; I strongly suggest you do. Please send a copy of this e-mail to every gun owner you know.
Text of H.R.45 as Introduced in House: Blair Holt's Firearm Licensing and Record of Sale Act of 2009 – U.S…. OpenCongress
Obama’s Congress is now starting on the firearms confiscation bill. If it passes, gun owners will become criminals if you don’t fully comply.
It has begun . . . Whatever Obama’s secret Master Plan is….this is just the ‘tip of the iceburg!’
Very Important for you to be aware of a new bill HR 45 introduced into the House. This is the Blair Holt Firearm Licensing
& Record of Sale Act of 2009.|
Even gun shop owners didn’t know about this because the government is trying to fly it under the radar as a ‘minor’ IRS revision, and, as usuual, the ‘political’ lawmakers did not read this bill before signing and approving it !
To find out about this – go to any government website and type in HR 45 or Google HR 45 Blair Holt Firearm Licensing & Record of Sales Act of 2009. You will get all the information.
Basically this would make it illegal to own a firearm – any rifle with a clip or ANY pistol unless:
-It is registered -You are fingerprinted -You supply a current Driver’s License -You supply your Social Security # -You will submit to a physical & mental evaluation at any time of their choosing -Each update – change or ownership through private or public sale must be reported and costs $25 – Failure to do so you automatically lose the right to own a firearm and are
subject up to a year in jail. -There is a child provision clause on page 16 section 305 stating a child-access provision. Gun must be locked and inaccessible to any child under 18. -They would have the right to come and inspect that you are storing your gun safely away from accessibility to children and fine is punishable for up to 5 yrs. in prison.
If you think this is a joke – go to the website and take your pick of many opt ions to read this. It is long and lengthy. But, more and more people are becoming aware of this. Pass the wor d along. Any hunters in your family pas s this along.|
This is just a “termite” approach to complete confiscation of guns and disarming of our society to the point we have no defense – chip away a little here and there until the goal is accomplished before anyone realizes it.
This is one to act on whether you own a gun or not..

Please.. copy and send this out to EVERYONE in the USA , whether you support the Right to Bear Arms or are for gun control. We all should have the right to choose.

Remind the Members of Congress that they are violating the Bill Of Rights, and are subject to Immediate Removal from Office!
It might be more effective if it were done at gunpoint.
Gee! I can't find this anywhere in the MSM - wonder why?
I to heard this before and found this:
OpenCongress Summary
The Blair Holt's Firearm Licensing and Record of Sale Act would establish a nationwide system for prohibiting unlicensed gun-ownership. If approved, the law would require gun owners to apply for five-year licenses to own firearms, and would give the U.S. Attorney General broad authority over the program.
This is a fringe bill with no co-sponsors that has virtually zero chance of becoming law. For more background on why there are bills in Congress like this one that are essentially dead on arrival, see this blog post.

I once thought socialized medicine had zero chance of becoming law. I have now learned that lesson. Never again.
The libs would love to take ALL the guns away.
America is a hornet's nest. The Obamacare takeover has stirred things up. Going after gun control in this climate would be ill-advised.
George, look somewhere in the Personals section.
Opie, most of Obama's proposals are ill-advised. It hasn't stopped him yet.
He's spent some time talking with Tony Blair, obviously. Still, at least in the UK we are safe in the knowledge that only the criminals have the guns, but its annoying that our millions of cctv cameras can't seem to catch any of them. Thinking through this proposal, do you think registered American gun owners, by then all on a national database, will be subjected to closer checks at airports so that the boarding procedures can be speeded up for the rest of us unarmed suspects?
They really want me to stop filing. I am actually considering not filing, even though I should get some back.
Wow, this is HORRIBLE! LL, thanks for pointing this out to us! Obama is such a snake in the grass. He's always plotting something. This is bad.
THIS IS FALSE~ it is stories like this that deplete the crediability of people out there trying to keep people ware of REAL threats to our freedoms. Please friends CHECK STUFF OUT BEFORE you get riled up and pass stuff on we need to focus our enery on REAL threats to our freedoms and there are plenty!

I didn't post this...
Furthermore, I wouldn't have posted it because (as was stated above) Blair Holt is a dead issue in Congress. It doesn't mean that people in Congress don't want it passed. It's simply a poison pill with voters (who have been buying up arms and ammo in record numbers since Barack Hussein Obama was elected).
Once more.
I DIDN'T POST THIS.
I was reading this post and came to the same conclusion ... no chance of passage.
But still ... I can't seem to remember if I have any guns laying around any way. Oh, well ...
There is a reason over 14,000,000 guns were sold in 2009. The usual number is 2,500,000 a year. I have a feeling they will be trying to grab the guns at the same time they're ducking.
LL didn't post this. I did, and didn't realize LL's name was at the base.
I did so because I believed (and still do) that this type of legislation is constantly on the horizon. This legislation is a reality no matter what be its present state of political health.
Think back on the past year at all the ridiculous, supposedly DOA legislation that has oozed out of this administration. If nobody has driven a stake through the heart of bills like this, they still exist and are fodder for political dealing.
Such bills are still bullets in the Democrat holster and I DON'T TRUST THE DEMOCRATS.
Well said Nickie! I'm off to the police right now to register all my guns, get fingerprinted and pay the extra tax - before its made into law. We all have to do 'our bit', you see.
Then again, maybe I'll just buy another battle rifle before they're banned...
The part about a federal agency doing home inspection in regard to "chidren's safety issues" is included in the Health Care Takeover, and does include firearm storage. Holt's bill also covers the home inspections as well. This part of the whole picture is mostly about taking the children out of the home if, for any reason, the government guidelines mandate this. This bill has been in the pipeline for a while and folks are starting to see the extent that The Obama Regime is going and now understand that a bill that essentialy nullifies part of the Constitution is not only possible but indeed highly probable. At the start of Hope And Change the majority of people did not want to believe that something like this was possible, so that is what kept it under the radar. Thanks for posting on this!
They are also going for the gun show loophole. A gun show company posted information about the BATF limiting the sales of used firearms at the Austin gun show.
What I read in this post pretty much outlines, chapter and verse, firearms legislation in the UK, except that there was an update which prohibited all handguns to the point that even our Olympic pistol team has to train abroad. The possibility of having laws and procedures as cited is, I believe, a very real prospect and not in the least fanciful. The horizon is a lot closer than it looks.
Guys, I hit the second link in the post, went over to the Senate site, clicked on 'Legislation and Records' and typed in 'SB-2099'. Then I tried SB2099. Then I tried SB.2099. Then I tried S2099, and got a hit. S2099 is a bill to 'suspend temporarily the duty on certain heaters'. Otherwise, that site, at least, has jack regarding any bill labeled 'SB-2099'. Now, if there's some OTHER link that'll give it, great. Otherwise...
But as far as that Blair Holt Bill thing, I'm thinking its survivability is about like that of a mayfly.
Love the new header. Hate the Commie Assfuckery. I'll be passing it on.

Complete fake-ness
But in fact, not *complete* fakeness: The bill in question was indeed submitted, and in fact provided what's been stated above.
So it *did* pass the Snopes test.
But like lawsuits: Any congressdick can file any bill he likes, no matter how absurd or outrageous. If you click on the right links at OpenCongress, you find that HR45 was submitted by a kooky Chicago rep and has no co-sponsors. For all practical purposes it has no chance of becoming law.
The Irs tax forms is single most important IRS Federal income tax form. Form 1040 has alternatives as well such as 1040EZ or 1040A etc. However, you should know which 1040 form I use. You Must File Form 1040 by April 15 2010 to evade any interest or penalties for late filing your tax returns.
