#2 -- The Second Most Odious Word/Phrase of All

Middle class tax cuts (promised by Democrats every presidential election) -- Actual translation: "Are you kidding? All of your taxes are going up, if we have anything to do with it. Remember the balloon boy we thought was flying away? Well, that's your taxes ... but you're in it, too."

Of course, the key to promoting such phantom tax cuts that are really tax hikes is to get Republicans to sign on ... as an act of political courage, of course.

Okay, #1 will be posted tomorrow at midnight ... on Halloween.

If you are up and reading it, well, "Boo!" Dude, you are boring.

Here is the rundown of 2-10:

10. Bipartisanship
9. corporate-speak ... (facilitate your own)
8. the American "people"
7. working families
6. the "Great American Center"
5, political courage
4. the people sent us here to get something done
3. dude*
2. middle class tax cuts ...

Until tomorrow ...

The Laugh, pricless. What really galls me about said phrase is that it demeans the person who worked hard to gain thier riches, as if they are undeserving of it and being middle class is in and of itself rightous. Not to mention the drag on the economy that overtaxing the wealthy does, As Rush says I've never been given a job from a poor person.

DC, I dont want to dissapoint you but the symbol actually denotes a disc golf zone, I'll need to find a more clear symbol, but hey BGs live on.

I'm sure we will all get our tax cuts soon. We just need to be patient, politicians don't lie

Roc ... and we were so close. You mean, you don't turn up "Night Fever" and line dance on a regular basis in the casa? Oh, well ...

Re: the substance, exactly. it's righteous to be in the middle. Isn't that grand. I would like to have that laugh track with me and walk all around Congress and just say appalling things to Pelosi and Co., get dirty look, play the laugh and move along.

Trestin, you have nailed it. Now, go stand by your mailbox and wait for your check.

How long will it be before Americans realize that they are promised “middle class tax cuts” year after year after year and they never materialize? At least, not under a democratic administration. You’d think even the dumbest American would realize that they are playing a shell game, and losing.

DC, was that laugh from the end of "House On Haunted Hill"?

I love being Right said...

I'm just surprised that there are that many middle class people that buy into it every election cycle. After awhile, you would think they would catch on!!!

Here's some corporate speak being thrown around my job as of late," right-sizing". Instead of that ugly ol word 'down-sizing'. Yeah. That makes it all better now.

Arby-Que, the Great American Center ... they get the cuts, don't you know. And yes, tax cuts promised from Demos is kinda like a tent revival advertised by Marxists. You would think folks would figure it out.

Wood, that laugh is from You Tube.

Red, I thought "right-sizing" was reserved for extra big undergarments. Oh, well ...

DC... Speaking of extra big underpants, how are you doing with that lo-carb kick of yours?

The vast, teeming, unwashed, hard-working, gun-toting, flag-waving, tax paying, church-going, nose-picking, Fox-watching Middle Class are known in the Marxist White House as "The ATM".

Unfortunately, I don't think any one has been tricked, regardless of the intent. Some people simply think others, even themselves, make too much money (couldn't they simply ask for less money?). The other half of the pro-Dem group doesn't pay any taxes so they don't care (Hey, man, could you spare a dime? became, Gimme!).

Some people probably do make too much in some world of all else being equal. Though I think if that person is a significant enough part to a party that creates wealth, they do deserve what they get (even football players, if I might grumble about it... though I think I usually get the last laugh there, handing money to braindamaged jocks who blow through like the money gained from a stolen ATM card, ha). They can always be charitable and equitable without trying to force everyone to give, especially to such a poor cause as the government programs (never met a poor person they couldn't keep poor!).

Then again, how many simply do not vote? I did not (out of principle, if maybe a bad one, who knows). Many do not because, like, why dude? Gack! However, with these things working for them, you have to wonder why they bother to lie about middle class taxes. Perhaps they are such liars they wouldn't know how to simply say, let alone represent, the truth.

/grumble

The Vincent Price laugh is great!

Well, You know.... Obama said 95% of the middle class will get a tax break, but he never said in which country that would occur.

Sreriously, the Price laugh is Exactly what I will sound like when any liberals I know start bitching about tax increases in the upcoming years.

Bwahahaha Hahaha ahanahaa hanaha ha
