Our Self Indulgent Nation

Back in 2008 when the Army was recruiting our daughter, the wife and I had several conversations with the recruiters. This subject came up even then.  Military recruitment is vital to our national interests; if new war fighters can't be found we are in deep kimchi.
Americans continue to get fatter and it's delivering a huge blow to the country, both in higher health care costs and undercutting military recruiting, according to a huge new study.

The 14th annual State of Obesity: Better Policies for a Healthier America report from the Trust for America's Health and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation bluntly reported that 70 percent of the nation is obese or overweight.

And while the rate of obesity growth is leveling off, the costs aren't. The report, for example, said additional health care for obese adults and children is $150 billion a year and billions of dollars more in lost worker productivity.

It is also costly to the military, said the report. Nearly one-quarter of military recruits are rejected because they are obese and it costs the Pentagon $1 billion a year in added health care costs for obese troops and their families.

Another Media Shill Speaks Out

The media once again screams about the mote in Trump's eye while ignoring the telephone pole rammed in it's own eyes. Today's mote? Trump was criticizing our southern neighbor and now T-Rex is thanking Mec-he-co for sending aid to flood ravaged Houston.

From Mediaite (why do I bother?)

This afternoon, during a photo-op with Mexican Secretary of Foreign Relations Luis Videgaray Caso, Secretary of State Rex Tillerson took the opportunity to thank the Mexican government for its offer of disaster assistance to areas struck by Hurricane Harvey.

“It’s very generous for Mexico to offer to help in this very, very challenging time,” the Secretary of State said.

And in a press conference today speaking about the ongoing recovery efforts in the wake of the devastation from Hurricane Harvey, Texas Governor Greg Abbott (R) was asked about Mexico’s offer of help. The conservative governor, who has previously (and falsely) claimed ISIS was running through the US-Mexican border, announced that he would accept the assistance.

“I have and we are,” Abbott told the reporter. “And we have, I don’t have with me here, we have a list of aid and assistance that they have offered to provide that we are accepting. I don’t have the list, but I can tell you loosely, it involves things like vehicles and boats and supplies and food.”

Meanwhile, just a few days ago, President Donald Trump sent this tweet out about Mexico, while Harvey was battering Texas:
With Mexico being one of the highest crime Nations in the world, we must have THE WALL. Mexico will pay for it through reimbursement/other.

Furthermore, with Mexico’s offer of assistance on the table, Trump went to Missouri to deliver a speech on tax reform and took the opportunity to take a swipe at America’s neighbor, stating that “Mexico is not happy” that he’s looking to renegotiate NAFTA.
So sorry Mediaite and the rest of you losers out there, you're all full of crap.

One "attaboy" does not make up for 11,000,000 "awshits" that you have thrown across the border.

One third of California's penal system is devoted to housing Mexican awshits and almost 25% of the US federal penal system houses more and awshit anchor babies are bleeding the US Treasury dry.

Tens of billions are spent housing, feeding and healing awshits from other countries and we're getting sick of the expense and the crime.

How To Piss Away $160 Million

This person needs to be tarred and feathered, then paraded out the lobby of One Police Plaza, followed by the people who hired the idiot. Truly, there needs to be an investigation because this stinks.
The NYPD has to scrap the 36,000 smartphones it gave cops over the past two years because they’re already obsolete and can’t be upgraded, The Post has learned.

The city bought Microsoft-based Nokia smartphones as part of a $160 million NYPD Mobility Initiative that Mayor de Blasio touted as “a huge step into the 21st century.”

But just months after the last phone was handed out, officials plan to begin replacing them all with brand-new iPhones by the end of the year, sources said.
The NYPD's Deputy Commissioner of Technology, Jessica Tisch, comes from a very influential family - her billionaire father is James S. Tisch, CEO of the Loews Corporation. But James Tisch is a Republican and was the campaign financial director manager for Mayor de Blasio's mayoral opponent, Joseph Lhota. Tisch was promoted to this position by Commissioner Bratton, who apparently has lost his mind.
Law-enforcement sources blamed the boondoggle on NYPD Deputy Commissioner for Information Technology Jessica Tisch, with one saying, “She drove the whole process.”

“Nobody purchases 36,000 phones based on the judgment of one person,” a source said.

“I don’t care if you’re Jesus f- -king Christ; You get a panel of experts.”

Technology experts had long questioned the NYPD’s decision to choose Microsoft-based phones over those that run on Google’s Android software or Apple’s iOS.
Microsoft announced that as of July 11, it was no longer supporting the Windows mobile operating system that powered the NYPD phones.

For the law twenty years of my career I have participated in committees, researched, and made recommendations for the purchase of high tech law enforcement equipment - including computer systems. I was the system administrator for several of them.

Accessorize Your Concealed Carry

Accessories turn a few basic outfits into a smorgasbord of fashion, so why not do the same with your .380?
The National Rifle Association put on a concealed carry fashion show Friday night in Milwaukee, Wisconsin

Models displayed offerings from 30 companies who make purses and gun holsters designed for quick access

In perhaps the most American form of haute couture - the National Rifle Association put on a concealed carry fashion show.

From purses to gun holsters, attendees of the gun ownership and self-defense convention in Milwaukee, Wisconsin were treated to what the NRA said was the first-ever show of its kind.
Models displayed offerings from roughly 30 companies on Friday night, such as Femme Fatale and Man-Pack, whose products include corset holders and shoulder bags designed for quick gun access.
Ahead of the event NRA spokesman Jason Brown said: 'It's going to be really, really interesting to see all of these different products up on stage and modeled by people.'

Amanda Suffecool conceptualized the fashion show and the NRA worked with her to host it at the NRA Carry Guard Expo.

This is the first time the NRA had hosted such an event.

75 Years Ago Today

I fear that for many young Americans the word "Guadalcanal" means nothing.
Guadalcanal is an island in the Solomons named after a village in the province of Seville, Spain. The island was named by the Spanish explorer Álvaro de Mendaña in 1568, for the village which was the birthplace for a member of Mendaña's expedition.

In 1942 this island was the scene for the beginning of the end of the Japanese Empire.
At Guadalcanal, the Empire of Japan lost two-thirds of their 31,000-plus army troops committed to the fight. Approximately 1,600 Americans were killed. Warship losses were roughly equal, but the Japanese would never equal American industrial ability to replace them and so felt the loses more significantly. Most devastating to the Japanese was the decimation of their elite naval aviators. From this, they would never recover. The most shocking of American losses was the over 5,000 U.S. sailors and Naval officers killed, a figure that easily surpassed the Navy’s accumulated losses in all her history.
More here.

NOTE: Guadalcanal was a crucial victory as it is only a three hour flight from this island to Brisbane, Australia. Japanese airfields would have made transportation form the US to its ally very difficult.

US Navy "Bumper Cars"

Yesterday's remark about our navy playing bumper cars ... Vice Admiral John "Crash" Aucoin is going bye bye.

From Reuters:
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The U.S. Navy plans to remove from duty the commander of the fleet that has suffered four recent collisions in Asia and the deaths of a number of sailors, the Wall Street Journal reported on Tuesday, citing U.S. officials.

Vice Admiral Joseph Aucoin, the three-star commander of the U.S. Seventh Fleet based in Yokosuka, Japan, will be relieved of command on Wednesday in connection with four collisions since January, including two involving fatalities, two U.S. officials said, according to the Journal. It said Navy officials declined to comment.

Okay, I'm Back

It's been almost ten weeks now. Just didn't feel like posting. Really ... I still don't. Too depressing to go into the news. It's like the America Mass Media has dropped it's draws and shown the world its ass. Fox News, go to bed. You throw a babe on the screen with nice teeth and tatas to read your crap and we're supposed to believe them.

It's One America News from now on.

Idiots running amok in the streets and the police standing around with their thumbs permanently inserted up their - you know. When is the head busting and teeth bashing going to start?

American warships have been turned into bumper cars.

Obama's administration is like a curse that must be exorcised, ObamaCare ain't going away soon it seems despite what the lying RINOs have been promising for seven years..

There haven't been any additions to the US Border Patrol staffing but at least the flood has been diminished.

Europe is falling apart, piss on 'em. They should have known better than to let those savages in.

But I did like Trump's address last night. We are finally on a true war footing. I would like to see how the ROE have changed also. Killing assholes, busting their stuff and preventing resupply/recruitment is great strategery.

I rediscovered Twitter but that's just as goofy as anything else.

So here's what I did.
I am Mom's executor so I am putting together her estate. Fortunately we liquidated almost all of of her assets before she passed so there isn't much to probate. Last month we buried her ashes with Dad in the Calverton National Cemetery on eastern Long Island.

Then the next week the wife and I were up to Raquette Lake in the Adirondacks and I went fishing every day. Didn't catch much but don't care. My daughter and SIL also spent the week at another cabin close by. Our oldest daughter and her kids also dropped by and spent a day and night with us.

I have bought two new fishing rods/reels, some tasty lures and got a new tackle box for Father's Day. The old box  (25+ years old) smelled like nasty feet. I should get my collapsible rod in the mail today. I haven't done much fishing in a long time and got a lot of catching up to do.

I have been taking my 7 yr old grandson fishing. He's turned into a fanatic. I just wish he'd stop talking for ten minutes, but fishing and juice boxes do go well together. I wear my San Angelo TX cowboy hat when I fish.

There are huge carp in Onondaga Lake and I wanna get one. They pulled a 47 pounder out a few years ago. This October there is a carp contest on the lake that draws international attention. I have been thinking of getting a small boat but there's no where to store it on our property. Still, I am cruising Craig'sList and other boat sale sites. Maybe my SIL will let me keep it on the side of his house... End of fishing stuff.

I finally fixed the water damage to our bedroom ceiling. Had to cut out a large section but it looks great. Now to repaint all the bedrooms and install carpeting for our new bedroom set. We're thinking of selling the house and getting something smaller. We have a three story, 4 bedroom house, 3000 square feet heated, located on a steep hill and I'm not getting any younger.

We're not sure about leaving NY. We love our church and all our friends and grandkids are here. Thinking about building an in-law apt or add-on when the middle daughter buys a house, then getting something very small in NC. Decisions, decisions.

Army girl is now in Germany for six weeks. Thank God, we thought she was going to Iraq but her bosses changed her assignment. She loves her work in the KNG but the 8 hour drive to Lexington once a month is hard. Our youngest daughter leaves for Paris in late September to do a jewelery show for her boss. I've warned her to stay with lots of sane people because Paris is full of savages who should have stayed in their third world shitholes.

Just before we left MD in mid June I was going through some of Mom's stuff before it goes to Goodwill and I found my Dad's old wooden shoe shine box. Starting when I was about 10 years old he would have me shine his shoes for work every evening after dinner. That was almost 60 years ago. For some stupid reason I have been thinking about that box for decades, ever since he died in 1990. It still has polish and his brushes in it. Mom kept it with her. I got it now in my bedroom.

That's all for now. Thanks for sticking with me!

Mom Has Passed

My mom died yesterday morning. We were expecting this as she has been in hospice care for the last six weeks. We all feel that she waited until her granddaughter's wedding was over on Saturday and slipped her mortal coil early Monday morning. I had a feeling that when we left MD last month that it would be the last time I that I would see her.

I am Mom's executor and have to leave for MD. My wife is sick today or else we'd be on the road right now. Posting will be pretty sparse for another bit.

Mom and Dad are both gone now. This is a picture of happier days.

Five Wives And $350 Million Light

HURRY! HURRY! HURRY!

These Wives Won't last!
Heavily discounted used Saudi wives!
Less than 40 years old, low maintenance, beaten lightly, spare burkas included.

SHARM EL SHEIKH, EGYPT | A Saudi prince lost 1.350 Billion Riyals ($359 Million) in six hours as well as five of his nine wives while playing poker at the casino.

Prince Majed bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud is well-known around the world for both his drug and gambling habits, but his latest betting frenzy is quite exceptional even for him.

Spending the week at the renowned Sinai Grand Casino, the Prince spent six hours at the “unlimited stakes” poker table and had an incredible losing streak.

In one evening, he lost hundreds of millions of dollars and was even forced to give up five of his spouses to cover part of his debt.

According to the director of the casino, Ali Shamoon, the prince pawned his wives in exchange for $25M in credit and left them there after he lost.

Hillary Employee Indicted

This is almost two months old.
Funny how it didn't get a lot of press, no?
Former Hillary Clinton Employee Arrested On Treason Charges

Candace Marie Claiborne has become the first Clinton-era State Department employee indicted on treason charges, after a federal grand jury indicted her for conspiring to defraud the U.S. government, concealing contact with foreign spies, obstructing an official proceeding, and making false statements to the FBI.

Claiborne, a veteran State Department employee who possessed a Top Secret security clearance, concealed her extensive contacts with Chinese intelligence agents, who for years lavished her with thousands of dollars in gifts as part of a pay-for-play scheme, according to a Department of Justice press release.

In addition to cash payments, Chinese spies provided Claiborne with vacations, an apartment, Apple electronics, and tuition to a Chinese fashion school, according to the indictment. Suggesting she learned tricks from Hillary Clinton, her former boss, Claiborne allegedly told co-conspirators to delete all emails and evidence after getting caught.

The bill of charges contains numerous felonies and Claiborne, 60, is facing spending the rest of her life behind bars, as prosecutors warn she is “the first of many” corrupt Clinton-era State Department employees that will be bought to justice by a reinvigorated DOJ.

Still Winning

This is too rich. Republican candidate for Congress gets arrested for assaulting an aggressive reporter, loses the support of three newspapers and still cleans the clock of his Democrat opponent in a Montana special election.

*giggle*
GOP candidate wins Montana House election after being charged with assault

Republican multimillionaire Greg Gianforte won Montana's only U.S. House seat on Thursday despite being charged a day earlier with assault after witnesses said he grabbed a reporter by the neck and threw him to the ground.

Gianforte, a technology entrepreneur, defeated Democrat Rob Quist to continue the GOP's two-decade stronghold on the congressional seat. Democrats had hoped Quist, a musician and first-time candidate, could have capitalized on a wave of activism following President Donald Trump's election.

The Brits Are Furious

And I don't blame them. Draconian measures are needed to stop the leaks.

From Breitbart:
The world’s closest intelligence sharing arrangement is in jeopardy after key details and photographs from the Manchester bombing were apparently leaked by United States’s law enforcement sources to domestic journalists, leaving Manchester Police and the British government — who are collecting and analysing the finds — “furious”.
The United Kingdom has now stopped passing intelligence gathered as part of the investigation into the Manchester bombing to the United States according to claims made by the British state broadcaster BBC.

While British police had discovered the identity of Salman Abedi, the suicide bomber who killed 22 in Manchester on Monday, the name was withheld from the media initially for operational reasons. Yet less than 24 hours after the attack took place, American newspapers citing “government sources” were able to name the attacker.

[...]The nature and speed of the leaks by these U.S. officials have caused “disbelief and astonishment” in the British government.

Disgraced Former DNC Head Threatens DC Police

Rep. Debbie Wasserman-Schultz (FL-D) threatened "consequences" if the DC police did not return a laptop that was recovered by Capitol Police after it disappeared while being sought in an investigation.

Mysteriously enough, the laptop was used by a Pakistani IT expert who is suspected of massive data breaches while hired to work in her office.

From the Daily Caller:
The Florida lawmaker used her position on the committee that sets the police force’s budget to press its chief to relinquish the piece of evidence Thursday, in what could be considered using her authority to attempt to interfere with a criminal investigation.

The Capitol Police and outside agencies are pursuing Imran Awan, who has run technology for the Florida lawmaker since 2005 and was banned from the House network in February on suspicion of data breaches and theft.

“My understanding is the the Capitol Police is not able to confiscate Members’ equipment when the Member is not under investigation,” Wasserman Schultz said in the annual police budget hearing of the House Committee On Appropriations’ Legislative Branch Subcommittee.
Imran Awan and his two brothers are suspects in one of the most serious security breaches in the history of Congress. Obviously Wasserman-Schultz has more than a passing interest in squelching this investigation. More here.

Police now suspect a suicide bomber.
Reports are 19 dead and about 50 wounded.

Pasties, Vamps And Sleaze

Pop icon Cher left little to the imagination while performing some of her biggest hits at Sunday night’s Billboard Music Awards, the singer’s first awards show concert in 15 years.

The 71-year-old icon performed her smash hits “Believe” and “If I Could Turn Back Time” Sunday night before accepting the ceremony’s Icon Award for her decades-long career in the music industry.

The Grammy- and Oscar-winner danced on stage wearing a silver diamante dress, with her chest covered up by heart-shaped nipple pasties. The sparkling dress, which consisted of multiple hanging diamond strips, barely covered the singers chest and groin area.
It's amazing what a little botox and a lot of cocaine can do.

Rotten To The Core

"She is a completely hollow woman," Camille Paglia said, reflecting on Hillary Clinton's disastrous bid for the presidency six months after the former secretary of state fell to Donald Trump.

In an interview with the Washington Examiner on Tuesday, Paglia, who voted for Jill Stein in November, recalled red flags from the earliest days of Clinton's candidacy, pointing to her dependence upon artificial policy positions carefully manufactured in Brooklyn with the help of polls and focus groups.

"Hillary, when she first declared that she was a candidate," the bestselling author explained, "they asked her about her policies... and she refused to answer."

"They had to poll for her to find out what her policies were," said Paglia, delineating Clinton's failures with a detectable air of exasperation. "She was waiting for all her people to sift through polling data. They had to poll for her to find out what her policies were."

CBS News:

NAACP Looking For Revelance

The NAACP realizes that it has lost its mojo.
They will seek a new CEO afer their current President, Cornell W. Brooks, completes his three year term. The NY Post reports:
“We believe as an organization, we need to retool to become better advocates, better at educating the public, better at involving them,” Derrick Johnson, vice chairman of the NAACP board of directors, said in a conference call announcing the change.

Johnson said the group would embark on a national “listening tour” as part of its re-branding. That kind of tour, which is a common strategy among politicians as they seek to gain public support, has never been done in the NAACP’s 108-year history, Johnson said.
Their "listening tour" better pay heed to their 75% illegitimacy race and the fact that although they only comprise 13% of the US population they commit over half the murders in the US. Is it poverty? Racism?  Sociologists are divided and there is no clear verdict, but business as usual means nothing changes. Educating the public does not stop murders and it gives the appearance that NAACP officials are trying to shore up support and perhaps lagging donations.

It's not social problems or financial woes that plague us, it's moral issues.

Voter Fraud: It Is A Thing

Initial study of 28 states reveals 7.2 million duplicate voter registrations.

This study does not include the dead (unless they have dual registrations) and the four most populous states - California (39 million), Texas (27 million), Florida and New York (20+ million each) - are also not in the study. These four states alone comprise about a third of the US population (106 million).

More than 7 million voter registrations appear to be registered in two states simultaneously, according to data obtained by the Washington Free Beacon.

The new voter data was gathered from the Kansas-run interstate voter registration crosscheck program, which is used to identify "possible duplicate registrations among states."

The program began in December 2005 and conducted its first crosscheck in 2006. It is administered by the office of Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach, who was tapped recently to help lead President Trump's voter fraud commission.

The newest data is from crosschecks of voter registrations across 28 states that participate in the program. At least 7.2 million registrations appeared in two states at once, according to the data.

Georgia (660,708), North Carolina (561,811), and Illinois (542,065) lead the 28 states studied in potential duplicated voter registrations across state lines.

The study shows that more than 916,000 people appear to be registered multiple times within their state of residence. North Carolina accounts for 90 percent of potential intrastate duplicates.
And of course the dems will scream racism.

Hillary Practices Escape And Evasion

At all costs Hillary did not want to hug Donald Trump during the deabtes. This video was a maneuver that Hillary perfected on her wedding night.

Teeth, Meet Ass

The Conservative Treehouse warns the Dems to beware of what they wish for, an independent Special Counsel.
Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein at the Justice Department has appointed former FBI Director Robert Mueller as special counsel to justice to oversee the federal investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election.
It may take a while for the more rabid Democrats to have the notion beat into their brains, but others already have an inkling of what may be coming down the pike.
This opens up an independent investigative path of:
♦The DNC leaking (Seth Rich), and
♦The impetus of the “Russian Dossier“, and
♦The Obama White House “surveillance and leaking” (Susan Rice/Evelyn Farkas), all the way to
♦John Podesta, the Hillary Clinton campaign, and the Obama White House.
The traitorous dems are about to find out what Boomerang Karma is all about. And I hope it bites them right in the ass.

Putin Makes A Point

Russia's President Vladimir Putin offered to provide a transcript of his Foreign Minister's visit to the White House in order to settle the recent fake news controversy regarding the release of classified intelligence by President Trump.
SOCHI, Russia, May 17 (Reuters) - Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Wednesday that U.S. President Donald Trump had not passed any secrets onto Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov during a meeting in Washington last week and that he could prove it.

Speaking at a news conference alongside Italian Prime Minister Paolo Gentiloni, Putin quipped that Lavrov had not passed what he said were the non-existent secrets onto him either.

Putin said Russia was ready to hand a transcript of Trump's meeting with Lavrov over to U.S. lawmakers if that would help reassure them.

Two U.S. officials said on Monday that Trump had disclosed highly classified information to Lavrov about a planned Islamic State operation, plunging the White House into another controversy just months into Trump's short tenure in office.
Putin later remarked that the two American officials were "full of shitsky" and that, in Mother Russia, "Leakers" could only be a mispronunciation of a California basketball team.

UPDATE

Zero Hedge quotes Putin as saying:
"We are seeing in the US a developing political schizophrenia," Putin said quoted by RT. "There is no other way I can explain the accusations against the acting US president that he gave away some secrets to Lavrov" and added that "it's hard to imagine what else can these people who generate such nonsense and rubbish can dream up next," said Putin.

"What surprises me is that they are shaking up the domestic political situation using anti-Russian slogans. Either they don't understand the damage they're doing to their own country, in which case they are simply stupid, or they understand everything, in which case they are dangerous and corrupt."

"Anyway, this is a US matter, and we don't want and don't plan to interfere," the Russian president said.

It's On

It is on. A full blown assault on the Office of the President. Disgraced ex-FBI Director James Comey and his accomplices are doing their utmost to bring down a sitting President while Hillary and Soros cackle and plot on the sidelines.

This must not be allowed to stand. The Democrats are creating a Constitutional crisis out of smoke and mirrors and the liberal media is supplying the smoke and mirrors. This is worse than the Gulf of Tonkin incident that immersed the US in a war that killed 52,000 GI's. That action was directed at the communists. Today's traitors are targeting us.

This is an attack on the very fabric that holds our nation together, that keeps us in civil harmony and away from each others throats. Once that gives, God help us.

The Democrats are pissing off the wrong people. We are not snot nosed college kids. This will not end well.

The liberal media is on a war footing and we need to know what is, and more importantly, what is not happening. The Federalist has published a guide on how to interpret the war news...

  1. In the immediate aftermath, news outlets will get it wrong.
  2. Don’t trust anonymous sources. If democracy dies in darkness, anonymity is not exactly transparent or accountable. Unless someone is willing to to put his or her name with a leak, be on guard. Pay attention to how well the reporters characterize the motivations of the anonymous leaker. All leakers have motivation. Does the paper seem to have a grasp on how the motivation affects the veracity of the leak?
  3. If someone is leaking national security information in order to support the claim of a national security violation, be on guard.
  4. If someone is claiming a serious national security crisis but not willing to go public with the claim and resign in protest of same, be on guard.
  5. Compare sources willing to put their name and reputation on the line.
  6. Big anti-Trump news brings out the fakers.
  7. Pay attention to the language that the media uses. Is a story about something unimportant being written in such a way as to make it seem more important?
  8. Beware confirmation bias. Everyone has the tendency to interpret new evidence as confirmation of one’s existing beliefs or theories. Be on guard that you don’t accept critical or exonerating evidence to match your political preferences.
  9. Pay attention to how quickly and fully editors and reporters correct stories based on false information from anonymous sources. If they don’t correct at all, it’s an indication of a lack of respect.

Family's private investigator: There is evidence Seth Rich had contact with WikiLeaks prior to death

WASHINGTON - It has been almost a year since Democratic National Committee staffer Seth Rich was murdered in the nation's capital. There have been no solid answers about why he was killed until now.

Rich was shot and killed last July in Northwest D.C and police have suggested the killing in the District's Bloomingdale neighborhood was a botched robbery. However, online conspiracy theories have tied the murder to Rich's work at the DNC.

Just two months shy of the one-year anniversary of Rich's death, FOX 5 has learned there is new information that could prove these theorists right.

Rod Wheeler, a private investigator hired by the Rich family, suggests there is tangible evidence on Rich's laptop that confirms he was communicating with WikiLeaks prior to his death.

Now, questions have been raised on why D.C. police, the lead agency on this murder investigation for the past ten months, have insisted this was a robbery gone bad when there appears to be no evidence to suggest that.

Happy Mother's Day

My mom went into hospice care last week so this is a bittersweet day for us. She's 89 and still feisty as all get out, but she'll be gone soon.

I thank God that He placed her as my mom. She had a hard row to hoe as a young woman with four kids. And I thank God for my wife who has had such an impact on me, our daughters and step daughter.

Peace In Palestine? Don't Believe It, Not For A Moment

From the Jerusalem Post:
Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas has crossed the Rubicon and voiced “unprecedented” readiness to reach a peace deal with Israel, sources close to the efforts to renew talks between Israel and the Palestinians have told The Jerusalem Post.

Abbas, according to the sources, made this clear to President Donald Trump during their meeting at the White House last week. The president plans to use his trip to Israel later this month to receive assurances from Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu that he, too, is committed to a peace agreement.

Since his meeting with Trump last week, Abbas has changed his rhetoric, issuing a number of statements meant to reflect flexibility on previous demands. He has, for example, said that he would renew the talks under Trump’s auspices without preconditions. In the past, he had said he would not negotiate with Netanyahu without a freeze to settlement construction.
Hmmmm. Remember the Oslo Accords?
The Oslo Accords are a set of agreements between the government of Israel and the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO): the Oslo I Accord, signed in Washington, D.C., in 1993 and the Oslo II Accord, signed in Taba in 1995.
That went over well, dinnit? And now another "deal?"
Something will happen, either by chance or staged, that will put a kibosh on the new deal.

This is just a Muslim tactic to ensure that the annual $500 million or so that the US gives the Palestinian Authority every year is undisturbed as Trump has made it clear he will not put up with the Muslim zealots' nonsense. Since the Oslo Accords were signed in 1995, the US has given them over $5 billion in aid (see below). The US is the world's most generous donor to these people.

The Book of Revelations tells us that this is not going to end until Christ Himself settles the matter. Then and only then will there be peace for a while.

Summary:
Since the establishment of limited Palestinian self-rule in the West Bank and Gaza Strip in the mid-1990s, the U.S. government has committed more than $5 billion in bilateral economic and non-lethal security assistance to the Palestinians, who are among the world’s largest per capita recipients of international foreign aid. Successive Administrations have requested aid for the Palestinians in apparent support of (1) promoting the prevention or mitigation of terrorism against Israel; (2) fostering stability, prosperity, and self-governance in the West Bank that may aid Israeli-Palestinian diplomatic prospects; and (3) meeting humanitarian needs. The long-term utility of U.S. aid in encouraging regional stability and Palestinian economic and political self sufficiency might depend to some extent on progress toward a political solution that addresses Palestinian national aspirations and Israeli security demands.
Oh bullshit. They stole the money.

Will Somebody, Anybody, Please Indict This Chick?

Hillary Rodham Clinton desperately needs to be indicted, tried, convicted and put away.

If there is a single action that could resurrect Americans' belief in our criminal justice system, that would be it.

Follow me on this. Very little has changed w/r/t resources allocated to our southern border security, yet just the threat of increased enforcement and a border fence by Trump plus the unleashing of current border patrol agents has resulted in a 70% decrease in illegal aliens so far this year.

What does this say to us? More importantly, what does it say to those who break our laws?

This is what it says; the party's over, the buffet table has been closed, it's time to pay the piper.

The lax, almost non-existent, border enforcement policies inflicted upon us by the Obama administration was not an accident. As half of Central America decided to move north, radical Muslims also discovered that running amok was a low risk endeavor made profitable by the US State Department.

The DoJ also refused to prosecute many white collar (fraud) cases. This action encouraged many banks and financial agents to steal to their hearts content as larceny also became low risk. Between the GW Bush and Obama administrations, not a single fraudulent banker went to prison for their part in nearly destroying the American economy.

And now there is more evidence that Hillary Clinton is one of the most corrupt national politicians in our nation's history. As SecState not only did she violate scores of national security laws, she also pressured the Prime Minister of Bangladesh to keep a Clinton Foundation donor in an official position.
While secretary of state, Hillary Clinton made a personal call to pressure Bangladesh’s prime minister to aid a donor to her husband’s charitable foundation despite federal ethics laws that require government officials to recuse themselves from matters that could impact their spouse’s business.

The Office of Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina confirmed to Circa that Mrs. Clinton called her office in March 2011 to demand that Dr. Muhammed Yunus, a 2006 Nobel Peace prize winner, be restored to his role as chairman of the country’s most famous microcredit bank, Grameen Bank.

The bank’s nonprofit Grameen America, which Yunus chairs, has given between $100,000 and $250,000 to the Clinton Global Initiative. Grameen Research, which is chaired by Yunus, has donated between $25,000 and $50,000, according to the Clinton Foundation. Source
Hillary Clinton is the perfect target to kick off an anti-corruption campaign. She is incredibly high profile, she's as dishonest as the day is long, and her imprisonment will drive the Democrats positively ape shit. The poo flinging will be epic.

The prosecution and imprisonment of Hillary, or both of the Clintons for that matter, would send a strong statement to those who would abuse the political system for their own gain, would go a long way towards restoring America's trust in government and would provide endless entertainment as the Democrats consume themselves.

Make America Great Again.
Indict Hillary Clinton!

No Constitutional Crisis

Let's boldly re-enter yesteryear as a sitting President fires an FBI Director. The date is July 19, 1993, and the President is William J. Clinton.

There was no Constitutional crisis.
The firing occurred during the FBI's investigation of Clinton's involvement in Whitewater, the White House Travel Office scandal and Vince Foster's death (July 1993).
There was no panicky media reaction and no one got unhinged.
President Clinton fired FBI Director William S. Sessions yesterday, ending a six-month drama during which the former federal judge refused repeated requests from administration officials to resign.

Clinton telephoned Sessions yesterday afternoon to inform him that he had been fired and then called back several minutes later to remind him that the dismissal was "effective immediately." The president told reporters afterwards that he acted after Attorney General Janet Reno "reported to me in no uncertain terms that he {Sessions} can no longer effectively lead the bureau and law enforcement community" and that he agreed with that assessment.

Clinton, who said it was time to end "the turmoil now in the bureau" and "give the crime fighters the leadership they deserve," is expected to announce today that he has selected federal Judge Louis J. Freeh of Manhattan, a 43-year-old former FBI agent and federal prosecutor, to head the agency. Clinton interviewed Freeh at the White House for two hours on Friday night, press secretary Dee Dee Myers said.

A contract has been awarded to United Airlines to remove Syrian President Assad from office.
WASHINGTON — The Pentagon announced Tuesday it had awarded a sole-source contract to United Airlines for work related to the forcible removal of President Bashar al-Assad from Syria.

The contract, worth $2.1 billion, tasks the airline company with locating Assad, grabbing him from his seat in the presidential palace, and “dragging him out of Damascus by his arms.” The contract also notes that Assad should be “asked several times, politely” to give up his seat of power, though if he refuses, United workers should bloody his nose up a bit, according to the posting at FedBizOpps.

[...]United will be sending one of its aircraft to Damascus sometime next week, where it will land and carry out the plan called for in the contract.

It’s not yet clear whether United employees will actually carry out the forcible removal of Assad. One source said it’s possible the company may subcontract that portion of the work requirement to the Chicago Police Department, Wells Fargo, or Comcast.
Talks are underway between the Department of Defense and United Airlines exploring the possibility to use United personnel to remove a certain troublesome North Korean passenger.

Hill Without Bill: The Parallax View

NEW YORK (AP) — A best-selling novelist is imagining how Hillary Clinton’s life might have turned out had she never married Bill Clinton.

Random House announced Monday that Curtis Sittenfeld will tell the story from the point of view of Hillary Rodham. In real life, the former first lady did turn down Bill Clinton’s marriage proposals at first before agreeing to marry. In the novel, not yet titled, she turns down Clinton once and for all, then goes on with her life.
The most widely held prognostications state that by 1981 she would be splayed across the hood of a Buick Riviera being ravished by Rosie O'Donnell.

Liberal Judges' Priorities Are FUBAR

A senior citizen grandmother was finally released on $75,000 bond.
Her crime?
Videotaping conversations regarding the illegal sale of aborted baby organs by Planned Parenthood.
SAN FRANCISCO - After 12 hours, three judges and $75,000 in bail, Sandra “Susan” Merritt was finally released from jail Wednesday. Merritt turned herself in to California authorities to answer the 15-count felony charges brought against her by the State of California for her undercover work in exposing Planned Parenthood’s illegal sale of aborted baby body parts.

[...]Rather than investigating and prosecuting Planned Parenthood, which donated thousands of dollars to his political campaigns, California Attorney General Xavier Becerra filed charges against Merritt, claiming that her undercover video recordings violated California law. To date, no other citizen journalist or journalism organization has ever been charged with a crime for undercover recordings.

“We are dealing with corrupt politicians in the State of California who have their hands in the pockets of Planned Parenthood,” said Mat Staver, Founder and Chairman of Liberty Counsel. “Sandra Merritt did not violate any law and we will seek dismissal of these baseless charges.”
Source
Of course the media is silent on Planned Parenthood's donations to the California AG.

On the other side of the nation, a Massachusetts judge set bail at only $2,500 for an illegal alien who already had been deported twice for two prior convictions on Class A felony charges. The new charge? Forcible rape.
A Democrat Massachusetts judge in a “Welcoming City” for illegal aliens set a low bond on a previously deported Dominican Uber driver accused of raping a Boston College student. She did so, knowing immigration officials were about to put a detainer on the suspected rapist. Predictably, he has not been seen since that day in court.

Prosecutors in the case asked the judge for a $100,000 bond and told her that U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers were working on getting a detainer on the alleged rapist. Instead, Newton District Court Judge Mary Beth Heffernan “insisted on $2,500 bail,” the Boston Herald reported in a scathing article.

The recipient of the small bail, Luis Baez (aka Pedro Valetin), is charged with raping the female college student three times. Reports indicate Baez (or Valetin) worked as an Uber driver using a fictitious name.

Gun Stuff

CBS News took it upon themselves a few years ago to put together some scary stats regarding the possession of "heavy killer weapons that will probably be used to kill you" in the USA.
Their list is based entirely on the 2013 census and the ATF's National Firearms Registration and Transfer Record. The ATF record - which doesn't include pistols - covers the sale and transfer of the following weapons:
  • machine guns
  • short-barreled rifles and shotguns,
  • suppressors
  • destructive devices like bombs and grenades
  • concealable devices with the ability to discharge a shot through the energy of an explosive
  • any firearm with a bore over half an inch that has not been determined to have a legitimate sporting use.
Below is an abbreviated list as the original is 44 States long.
Of course NY is dead last at 3.3 guns per 1,000 residents.

10. Louisiana: 15.1 guns per 1,000 residents
9. Alaska: 15.2 guns per 1,000 residents
8. Nevada: 19.5 guns per 1,000 residents
7. Alabama: 20 guns per 1,000 residents
6. Idaho: 24.2 guns per 1,000 residents
5. Virginia: 30.1 guns per 1,000 residents
4. New Mexico: 40.5 guns per 1,000 residents
3. Arkansas: 41.6 guns per 1,000 residents
2. Washington, D.C.: 66.4 guns per 1,000 residents
1. Wyoming: 195.7 guns per 1,000 residents

I guess parts of Wyoming can be scary.

But Washington, D.C?
Washington, D.C?
Really.... did they include the D.C. Marine Corps barracks armory?

This site shows the 10 states with the highest percentage of households that possess firearms.

  1. Wyoming         62.8%
  2. Montana           61.4%
  3. Alaska              60.6%
  4. South Dakota    59.9%
  5. Arkansas          58.3%
  6. West Virginia    57.9%
  7. Alabama           57.2%
  8. Idaho                56.8%
  9. Mississippi        54.3%
  10. North Dakota     54.3%

And now D.C. is no where in the mix.

When The Police De-Police

The guys in patrol react in several ways to perceived threats and injustices. One of the favorites was to to stop writing parking tickets which was a major source of revenue for the city. The citizenry was not endangered as the overwhelming majority of illegally parked cars do not represent a threat to public safety. Our commanders might thunder but since everyone was doing it they could not single anyone out for retribution. However what is transpiring now is completely different; it's on a whole new level and it is not going to be quickly addressed.

The WashTimes reports:
EXCLUSIVE: FBI report finds officers ‘de-policing’ as anti-cop hostility becomes ‘new norm’

An unclassified FBI study on last year’s cop-killing spree found officers are “de-policing” amid concerns that anti-police defiance fueled in part by movements like Black Lives Matter has become the “new norm.”

“Departments — and individual officers — have increasingly made the decision to stop engaging in proactive policing,” said the report by the FBI Office of Partner Engagement obtained by The Washington Times.

The report, “Assailant Study — Mindsets and Behaviors,” said that the social-justice movement sparked by the 2014 death of 18-year-old Michael Brown at the hands of an officer in Ferguson, Missouri, “made it socially acceptable to challenge and discredit the actions of law enforcement.”
FBI spokesman Matthew Bertron said the study was written in April.

“Nearly every police official interviewed agreed that for the first time, law enforcement not only felt that their national political leaders [publicly] stood against them, but also that the politicians’ words and actions signified that disrespect to law enforcement was acceptable in the aftermath of the Brown shooting,” the study said.
There are several of my readers who understand completely what is going on. You guys know who you are. This is a major sea change that will drive crime rates up. All crime rates will go up, not just homicides, as police officers take a few steps back.

This is no longer your grandfather's America where a healthy dollop of respect for authority and accountability was infused into young people. That is gone, particularly in minority communities. Generations of haphazard child-rearing have seen to that as fathers fled the families as government moved in. In many minority communities - yes, black neighborhoods - police are mistrusted. Cooperation with authorities is stymied by prideful attitudes like "stitches for snitches" that stop investigations dead in their tracks. People do get away with murder.

Police officers are subject to violence, but that has always been the case. Look at the following chart that depicts police officers killed in the line of duty for the past 51 years. A total of 9,313 officers lost their lives, an average of 183 per year.

Source

Look at the spike in  officer deaths that started with the 1967 race riots. That didn't begin to calm down until the mid 70's. Interestingly, cops started wearing Kevlar vests about that time too. The spike in 2001 is self evident. But there was still a downward trend until the tail end of the chart. The lowest point is 2013 (the lowest number of officer deaths in 50 years), the year before the events in Ferguson.

Of course not all of these officers were murdered.
In the last ten years 1,511 officers were killed. The most common causes of death were:
  • 612 (41%) officers were killed in automobile, aircraft and boat accidents
  • 553 (37%) officers were murdered
  • 270 (18%) officers died from illness - deaths from 9/11 diseases were not listed.
But in the last four years - since the 2014 riots in Ferguson and the subsequent attacks of Obama's Justice Department -  the number of officers murdered (shot, stabbed, beaten and strangled) has almost doubled; a 92% increase from 36 to 69  and the number of officers murdered in the past year (2016 vs 2015) has jumped 57%, from 44 to 69. Only eight of these 201 murders did not involve a firearm; the number of police shot to death since Ferguson has increased 94%.

So, are officers concerned?

Last November Michael Grace was shot in the head by a Pizza Hut employee as he used a handgun to rob the store (Charlotte, NC), His mother feels that this is unfair.

Ripped from the depths of the interwebs:
The parents of a dead armed robber are very angry over his death, and are demanding to know why his innocent victim was allowed to be armed.

It’s been a difficult week for parents Temia Hairston and Michael Grace Sr. Their son, Michael Grace Jr., was shot and killed during an attempted robbery early Sunday morning.

Police said Grace Jr. and two other people tried to rob a Pizza Hut in the 3200 block of Freedom Drive. During the incident, an employee fired his own handgun and killed Grace Jr.

Hairston said she learned of her son’s death on social media, and only got confirmation from police after contacting them first. The grieving mother said she has been left with dozens of questions about the situation that have thus far gone unanswered.

“If there was to be a death, it was not the place of the employee at Pizza Hut. That is the place of law enforcement,” said Hairston

Build It

We need look no further than Europe to see what unrestricted immigration has done to native populations and the negative impact to their cities, their economies, culture and criminal activity. A few countries are finally beginning to resist the flood of military-aged Muslim invaders and are building walls/fences to deal with this problem.

Hungary is providing an example of how strong fences insure good neighbors. For those who don't get it, a good neighbor is one that leaves you alone and does not interfere with your internal affairs.
From the Daily Caller:
BUDAPEST, Hungary — When other countries welcomed refugees with open arms, Hungary decided it was time to eradicate illegal immigration at any cost.

The country succeeded, but that success damaged relations with the European Union in the process.

Hungary’s second border fence has just been completed in the southern town of Asotthalom. The 96-mile long, 14 ft. tall double-line of defense doesn’t look too intimidating from a distance. Go a little closer and you’ll notice several layers of razor-wire capable of delivering electric shocks, cameras, heat sensors and loud speakers ready to tell migrants they’re about to break Hungarian law if they as much as touch the fence.

Add a few hundred military officers and “border hunters” and it’s virtually impossible to break.
The invasion of Hungary was quelled by a fence and rigorous enforcement. The results? In just a week it went from 4,000 to almost 9,000 illegal aliens a day to just a few dozen as shown below.

Build the wall. Build it now and patrol it vigorously.

England On Acid

This is a hellish development.
Maiming someone, horribly scarring them for life with caustic liquids. These offenders need to spend many years in prison for this kind of atrocity.

Even better, an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth and a scarring for a scarring.
From the  Daily Mail:
The number of acid attacks taking place in Britain is soaring, with school children as young as 13 using corrosive substances as weapons.

Crime statistics show that there was more than 450 acid attacks in London alone last year, with the number of attacks in the capital more than doubling since 2014.

But experts say the real figure is much higher, with the true scale of the problem hidden because people are afraid to come forward.
Acid throwing is more prevalent in South East Asia, particularly Bangladesh, but apparently is growing in popularity in England. This practice needs to be eliminated as harshly and as quickly as possible.
