Don't Wipe For Me Venezuela
Venezuela orders its National Guard to seize a toilet paper factory.
Have fun with this one:
CARACAS (Reuters) - A Venezuelan state agency on Friday ordered the temporary takeover of a factory that produces toilet paper in what it called an effort to ensure consistent supplies after embarrassing shortages earlier this year.Another instance of "One good wipe deserves another?"
Critics of President Nicolas Maduro say the nagging shortages of products ranging from bathroom tissue to milk are a sign his socialist government's rigid price and currency controls are failing. They have also used the situation to poke fun at his administration on social media networks.
A national agency called Sundecop, which enforces price controls, said in a statement it would occupy one of the factories belonging to paper producer Manpa for 15 days, adding that National Guard troops would "safeguard" the facility.
"The action in the producer of toilet paper, sanitary napkins and disposable diapers responds to the state's obligation to ensure a steady supply of basic goods for the people," Sundecop said, adding it had observed "the violation of the right" to access such products.
Calls to the Manpa factory went unanswered.

Random Acts Of Kindness
The Mormon Tabernacle Choir responds to a 10 year old's wish.
This is about the Mormon Tabernacle Choir on tour in Memphis, Tennessee. At St. Jude's Hospital, a little girl had been admitted with an aggressive form of brain cancer and had her first chemo treatment, which made it so she shouldn't be in crowds and couldn't attend the Mormon Choir's concert the night before. Somehow her family sent a request asking that some of the choir members, maybe, could meet the young girl at a hotel lobby.
Thanks Charlie!
Guns Don't Kill People, Liberal Judges Kill People
The 1968 Supreme Court decision, Terry v. Ohio, held that stop and frisk searches, under certain conditions, were allowable under the US Constitution. Please read the Terry v. Ohio citation I just supplied to see what good police work is about.
Last month a federal judge ruled that the manner in which the NYPD was conducting those stop and frisk searches was unconstitutional because mostly blacks and Hispanics were targeted. Since then, gun violence in New York City has skyrocketed.
In response, NYC democratic politicians have plunged their heads up their asses.
Willie Sutton robbed banks because ... that's where the money is. Cops conduct searches in high crime areas because that's where the illegal guns are. Apparently if you possess a law degree and a black robe that distinction escapes you. Perhaps Judge Scheindlin will require that the NYPD conduct random stop and frisk operations in nursing homes, day care centers and churches ala the TSA?
Wrong.
If you want a face to go along with the dead body count in New York City, here it is.

Mayoral front-runner Bill de Blasio offered no real solution Thursday when confronted with statistics revealing an alarming rise in gun violence that followed a federal judge’s ruling against the NYPD’s stop-and-frisk program.Yep,that'll do it.
The Democratic nominee opposes the practice, but when asked point blank how he intends to keep the city safe, he would speak only in generalities.
“We must restore the relationship between the police and community,” he said without explaining how that could be accomplished.

As first reported by The Post Thursday, shootings were up 13 percent and gun seizures were down more than 17 percent in the 28-day period ending Sept. 8 as compared with the same period in 2012.Bill de Blasio's colon is muffling his words but I think he said that when a federal judge threatens cops with fines and/or imprisonment, the cops don't care but continue blithefully on their merry, gun-grabbing way.
But de Blasio insisted “nothing has changed in the approach to policing” since Manhattan federal Judge Shira Scheindin’s Aug. 12 decision.
“The judge’s order just happened and has not been implemented so obviously has not affected day-to-day policing,” the Democrat said.
Wrong.
But several police sources have said cops are reluctant to do more than the bare minimum because of the reforms ordered by the judge.Bingo. Why put everything you own at risk because of scumbags and their lawyers? The ones who really suffer from this are the innocent citizens who depended on aggressive police tactics to stop the shootings.

Democrats Turn Their Backs On Benghazi
This is breathtakingly hateful and disrespectful; it doesn't surprise me.
Democrats are a treasonous, treacherous lot.
This action was predictable; it is in character with their spiteful agenda.
From Townhall:
During the second portion of a House Oversight and Government Reform hearing about Benghazi Thursday on Capitol Hill, the majority of Democrats on the Committee left the room and refused to listen to the testimony of Patricia Smith and Charles Woods. Ms. Smith is the mother of Sean Smith, an information management officer killed in the 9/11 Benghazi attack. Charles Woods is the father of Navy SEAL Tyrone Woods, who was also killed.Of course the media will black this out.
Sgt. John King - Update
Sgt John King is on the right.
John is off the ventilator and breathing on his own. He responds physically to oral communications but he has trouble focusing his eyes and from what we understand, he still cannot speak. He is still not out of the woods yet but his progress is very encouraging.
Please continue to pray for John, for his complete recovery.
His family is not well to do at all. John's parents and his sister are incurring substantial expenses by staying in North Carolina and his dad requires periodic medical attention for his own long term illness.
There is a web site that is collecting funds for the family here.
If you have a blog of your own, please feel free to include a link to the above site.
Thank you all so very much.

Bill Clinton and Weiner: We Simply Got To Get These Guys Together!
The UK Daily Mail published an article whereby sex columnist and former Penthouse pin-up girl Jennifer Flowers says that if it weren't for his daughter, Chelsea, she and President Clinton would be together and that Bill is OK with Hillary being bi-sexual. In fact, Jennifer quotes Bill as saying that Hillary "ate more p***y that I did!"
Not to be outdone, Sydney Leathers says that her Tweety Pie, Anthony Weiner, has waved his flag more often than John Philips Sousa. In an interview with Howard Stern,Leathers was asked if Weiner would make a good Mayor. Leathers reply was:
“I mean as funny as it would be to have a Mayor Carlos Danger, I think he’s a little too busy j--king off to do anything for the city,” Leathers told Stern.
"How are you going to be mayor of New York City if you’re c--ing like five times a day?
NASA Offers New Program, "Welfare Queen In Space"
Stay in bed for two months and get $18,000. Sound familiar?
NASA is currently looking for volunteers to lie in bed for 70 days.
That’s right, you could get paid a total of around $18,000 for lying in bed, playing games on your phone, reading books, skyping with your friends and family, taking online classes – and even go on with your day job if you can get away with working remotely, so long as you don’t get out of bed for that entire duration.
Tough Gun Laws Propel Chicago To New Heights
It just goes to show that hard work, perseverance and intelligent planning always pay off.
Chicago is now the murder capital of the USA. And we're proud of you Mayor Emmanuel.
The city of Chicago registered more homicides than any city in the nation in 2012, surpassing even New York — despite the fact that the Second City has only one third as many residents as the Big Apple.
In new crime statistics released Monday, the Federal Bureau of Investigation reported 500 murders in Chicago in 2012, up sharply from the 431 recorded in 2011. New York reported 419 murders last year, compared with 515 in 2011.
They Must Be Out Of Virgins
The Iranian air force has temporarily grounded their newest fighter jet, the Martyr-101, after it failed to pass a critical performance test.
The Aviationist reports that in March a U.S. MQ-1 drone came close to being intercepted by an Iranian F-4 Phantom combat plane, but the Iranian aircraft stopped short after a warning by an American pilot.
“He [the Raptor pilot] flew under their aircraft [the F-4s] to check out their weapons load without them knowing that he was there, and then pulled up on their left wing and then called them and said ‘you really ought to go home,’” Gen. Welsh said.
According to The Aviationist, the Iranians came within 16 miles of the drone.

I Pray It's A Growing Trend
Another Murder Factory Bites The Dust
Abortion mills are closing at an unprecedented rate in America.
More here
WASHINGTON (BP) -- For Abby Johnson, the closing of a single Planned Parenthood center demonstrated her dramatic reversal from abortion clinic director to leading pro-life advocate.
But for pro-lifers throughout the United States, it marked another exhibit in a hopeful trend -- abortion centers are shutting down at an unprecedented rate. The total so far this year is 44, according to a pro-life organization that tracks clinic operations.
[...]This year, 42 clinics that provided surgical abortions have shut their doors, and two that offered chemical abortions by drugs also have closed, according to Operation Rescue, which monitors closings and health and safety violations by clinics nationwide. That number far surpasses the 25 surgical clinics shutdown last year and the 30 in 2011, by Operation Rescue's count. While others estimate a smaller number of closings, the pattern is clear.
Some of the shutdowns have been of major clinics. For instance, Virginia's No. 1 abortion provider closed, The Washington Post reported in July. NOVA Women's Healthcare in Fairfax, Va., shut down after state and local governments enacted regulations the abortion provider appeared unable to meet. The northern Virginia clinic performed 3,066 abortions in 2012 and 3,567 in 2011.
The reasons given for the upswing in closings are varied even among pro-lifers. They include:
-- the increasing state regulation and oversight of clinics;
-- a growth in pro-life opinion and activity, and
-- a decline in the abortion rate.
In some cases, clinics have shut down when abortion doctors retired or were no longer licensed.

Russian v. American Exceptionalism
Moscow Rape/Murder/Torture Home of Beria, now the Tunisian Embassy
It's like borscht calling tomato soup watery. Some Rooskie dimwit takes today's mass murderer at the Navy Yard as a prime example of Americana and conveniently forgets his own country's lusty use of genocide as a tool of political persuasion. Americans are murder pikers compared to the Russians.
Hey Pushkov, ever hear of a guy named Lenin? How about Stalin? Or Beria?
From the WashTimes:
Hey Pushkov, ever hear of a guy named Lenin? How about Stalin? Or Beria?
From the WashTimes:
A Russian official blasted “American exceptionalism” in a tweet Monday morning, saying the deadly shooting at Washington’s Navy Yard confirms the worst about the U.S.
“A new shootout at Navy headquarters in Washington — a lone gunman and 7 corpses. Nobody’s even surprised anymore,” tweeted Alexey Pushkov, a member of the Russian parliamentary foreign affairs committee.
“A clear confirmation of American exceptionalism,” he added.
The comment — met with disgust on Twitter Monday, as the situation at Navy Yard continues to unfold — is a reference to the recent New York Times op-ed by Russian President Vladimir Putin.
