Gentlemen, prepare your hankies

If DC is gonna start posting football
content,
let's go right to the classics vault.

The most remarkable thing about Rudy? He was on the same team as Joe Montana! Go 9ers!

Those were the days when Rudy was a sub who played on a play or two in his career. Now, there are a bunch of 'em starting for ND. Nick, you're right. I think Mangino would do great up there, actually.

On another football note: Great line from the Texans-Titans game last night ... USC's Brian Cushing is a LB for the Texans and played against Vince Young and the Horns in the '05 Nat'l Championship Game. Cushing was chasing Young all over the field.

Announcers commented that Cushing has been chasing Young since '05 and hasn't caught him yet.

I'm on a three day suspension, but I had to sneak back with my hankie.

Tres, slip into your Alex Smith jersey and enjoy your turkey day.

DC, there just seems to be something about burnt orange.

Woody... when Notre Dame is mentioned, you are offered dispensation.

I'd like Rudy to sack Obama a few times.

It was that play that gave him the confidence he needed to go the distance with Frodo.

Snarky, I'd suggest the old high-low.

Mike, I'm assuming you are not aware of this blog's ongoing 8-year prohibition on any mention of LOTR.

I believe the ban was in response to one of DC's night terrors.

er - uh - Frodo stands for "fighting iRish Of notre Dame fOotball." Of course I knew about the LOTR ban. What is LOTR anyway?
