Wood, that's why you and me get along.

I have some bad news ... I just put in a recent post and it said ... "You write like Goomba. You're screwed!"

And Rhod ... well, it's difficult for me to break it to you, but ... you can put it in yourself.

It's possible, it could show up as a handle or nickname, but no spoiling it here ...

Rhod? Longfellow?

Can I get a Lovecraft around here?

Anonymous said...

You don't get a love craft. You are born with a love craft.

Stephen King here. Too bad, I think he's degenerated into a hack.

Zio, get your mind out of the gutter ...

What I'm-a-sayin' is ... we might have us a Lovecraft around here.

Love Craft? Wasn't that a big hit for The O'Jays?

David Foster Wallace

Great. This guy hanged himself. I never read a thing he wrote.

DF Wallace wrote a book of essays, "Consider The Lobster." One of the essays ("The Red Sun") mentions men castrating themselves as part of a treatise on the Adult Video News Awards (The Oscars of Porn) which Wallace attended as a judge.

I may never write a word again.

Sig, consider yourself warned.

Anon, that was Love Plane by the O'Jays. Lovecraft wrote an essay on it, I think.
