Vast floating islands of rubbish which threaten to block the world's biggest dam
By MailOnline

It is the world's biggest dam which promised to provide environmentally friendly energy to millions.

But China's Three Gorges superstructure is now under threat from vast floating islands of rubbish and debris which have been swept into the Yangtze River by torrential rain and flooding.

Nick,

While these pictures are staggering, this is the very thing that can be used by those folks to say, "See, this is what we'll become if we don't enact crap-and-tax"..

..or something like that, missing the obvious point that we should fix the glaring problems of the world before worrying about the smaller ones.

This shows the stupidity of trying to paint the capitalist USA as the evil uncaring polluting monster of the planet.

Ahh, the 'unintended consequences' of communism come to the for but once again.

Alas the 'greenies' will of course blame encroaching capitalism and 'global warming' but ignore what the War Planner stated.

No matter how one slices it we all lose due to actions or inactions by socialists/communists.

For the people my azz!

Most of the trash looks like limbs and twigs coming up from the flooding.

I read there is an island of plastic in the Pacific the size of Texas.

Interesting. I guess recycling plastic doesn't pay well or this would be a gold rush.
