Remember the Baltimore Six, Mosby Will

April 12, 2015. Remember the looting and rioting in Baltimore and the six sacrificial cops that were prosecuted for the death of Freddie Gray? Three of the officers were exonerated after trial and the rest had all charges dropped. But that didn't end the nightmare that Baltimore City Prosecutor Mosby started. Not by a long shot. But now it's her nightmare.
Baltimore Police LEGALLY BRUTALIZE Prosecutor Marilyn Mosby
The Baltimore Six exonerated. However, things didn’t go so well for Marilyn Mosby. For her, the public humiliation continues in the courts.

The race-baiting attorney general became famous for prosecuting six police officers for the alleged manslaughter of drug-dealer Freddie Gray. She received a metaphorical beatdown of Rodney King proportions.

When Freddie Gray died in Baltimore two years ago, the city’s chief prosecutor, Marilyn Mosby went on an anti-cop rampage. Within two weeks of the purported crime and without grand jury indictments, Mosby charged the six officers involved in Gray’s arrest. In her stunning over-reach, she charged some of the officers with murder.
The cops filed lawsuits against Mosby, the Sheriff and City of Baltimore. A judge just ruled that the lawsuits can continue and that Mosby must surrender all her emails and be deposed under oath.

This gonna be good. I hope the cop's attorney's rip her apart.

Federal Programs Explained: The Prostitution Model

When cops would me what work I was doing with government grants, I told them I was a pimp and the Department was my stable of whores and the "john" was the state or federal government, whomever was fronting the money. The "john" wanted some action and was willing to pay for it. The cops then performed whatever the "john" wanted whether it was narcotics enforcement, juvenile delinquency prevention, domestic violence suppression, traffic enforcement or anything else. Even notifying immigration enforcement officers when an illegal alien is arrested.

To put it bluntly, we give the "john" the dough he needs to satisfy his fetish through our tax dollars and then have to perform like a circus monkey to get it back. Nice system.

For years under the Obama administration the federal "john" didn't complain when he didn't get the action he wanted, which was the notification of illegal alien arrests. Money still changed hands and the jurisdictions got paid for non-performance.

That is changing.
Attorney General Jeff Sessions said Monday he’ll begin punishing sanctuary cities, withholding potentially billions of dollars in federal money — and even clawing back funds that had been doled out in the past.

Speaking at the White House, Mr. Sessions said his department is preparing to dole out more than $4 billion in funds this year, but will try prevent any of it from going to sanctuaries.

“Countless Americans would be alive today … if these policies of sanctuary cities were ended,” Mr. Sessions said.
Of course not all grant programs are a waste of money. But like all organized crime, the house takes it's cut, you gotta pay the vigorish and the government vig is a very healthy slice of the take.

So Sessions is cracking the whip and getting ready to slap some ho's.

Charges Dropped, Cops Still Sue

From NBC News:
Baltimore State's Attorney Marilyn Mosby may have dropped criminal charges against the remaining officers in the Freddie Gray trial, but she remains entrenched in a legal battle in civil court.

Five of the six officers charged for the death of Gray are suing Mosby, as well as Maj. Samuel Cogen of the Baltimore Sheriff's Office, in civil court for a gamut of causes.

In several lawsuits filed earlier this year, Officers William Porter, Edward Nero, Garrett Miller, Lt. Brian Rice, and Sgt. Alicia White alleged defamation, false arrest, false imprisonment, and violation of constitutional rights, among others.
This reminds me of the Duke lacrosse players who sued the university and the district attorney, Mike Nifong, for that screwed up rape case. I hope Ms. Mosby suffers the same fate.

Go get 'em guys.

True Blue

Police officers pinch hit for a fallen brother.

PALM HARBOR (FOX 13) - Members of the Tarpon Springs Police Department stepped in for a fallen colleague, taking his place to escort his daughter to prom Saturday night.

Officer Charlie Kondek was shot and killed as he responded to a noise complaint call in 2014. Kondek's colleagues say they felt it was their duty to fill in for Kondek and send his daughter Aleena Kondek off to her prom.

Sponge Cop Nerf Grants

The Sponge Gun (issued to police in NZ)

Not to be confused with the splooge gun which is a LGBT party favor.

The sponge gun is actually not a bad idea, but I wonder why they want to use super Nerf guns instead of Tasers. I would have loved to use a taser but they were only approved 5 or 6 years after I retired. We used chemical mace that would affect me almost as bad as the guy I squirted. We had several cops who were allergic to the stuff and had to be taken to the hospital ASAP if they were accidentally sprayed during an altercation. I don't believe the pepper spray now used presents the same problem.
Some Dallas police officers will soon be toting “sponge guns,” weapons aimed at reducing the chances of a deadly officer-involved shooting.

Police booster group Safer Dallas Better Dallas announced Thursday that it plans to raise $250,000 to help pay for more than 100 launchers that shoot sponge pellets. The “less lethal” weapons are meant to disarm and incapacitate someone from up to 100 feet away, police officials said.

Being hit with one of the sponge-tipped bullets is much like being pinged with a baseball or hockey puck. The guns are designed to cause enough pain on impact to force a person to drop a weapon or to the ground without breaking the skin, making it safer for police officers to approach.

“If they get hit in a soft spot, they go down,” said Deputy Chief Jeff Cotner, who oversees the police academy.
This worries me a bit. How accurate are these things? Obviously it's not a true Nerf gun and the projectile is more robust and has the same approximate velocity as a paintball (they hurt), so please define those "soft spots" that don't include genitalia.

The launchers, which will be bright yellow, would be dispersed among patrol officers throughout the city to help respond to incidents involving volatile or mentally ill people. The yellow coloring shows other officers and people in the community that police are trying to use less-lethal force.

I can see cops shooting each other in the ass for giggles, a lot of that.

Safariland makes a 40mm cartridge and the launcher for police use .... good grief, take a look at this Airsoft 40mm BB shower grenade. This is for adult play? Whaaaaa?

And Just As They Were Turning Their Lives Around...

Biggest bust in NYC history. Close to 700 NYPD cops and federal law men take down two rival street gangs in a Bronx housing project. Unfortunately this will do little or  nothing in the long term. They just created a vacuum that will be filled in short order. I've seen this happen with other RICO busts. There may even be a spike in shootings as other wannabees struggle for dominance and as other gangs move in.
NEW YORK – Law enforcement rescued a Bronx housing project with the biggest takedown in New York City history and now, officials are investigating whether the city's 400,000 public housing residents were being protected in safe conditions as required by federal law, a federal prosecutor announced Wednesday.

U.S. Attorney Preet Bharara told a news conference that nearly 700 New York Police Department officers and federal agents accompanied by helicopters and armored trucks executed pre-dawn raids, taking down two rival drug gangs from top to bottom.

By late afternoon, 88 individuals were in custody and more were sought in what Bharara described as the biggest gang takedown ever in New York City. The arrests stemmed from charges brought against 120 gang members.

NY State Steps Up To The Plate, Almost

At first I thought "Yes!" as I read the initial blurb in a Facebook post. Then I read the news article - the NY Senate is Republican for the most part, but the State Assembly is controlled by Democrats. I doubt this bill will see the light of day. Probably the only way this bill gets out of the Assembly is if the statute were limited to inciting violence against queer/tranny cops.
ALBANY, N.Y. -- New legislation has passed in the state senate that seeks to make inciting violence against police officers a crime.

The New York State Senate has passed legislation sponsored by Senator Michael Nozzolio of LaFayette, that would establish the new crime of inciting violence against a police officer.

In response to recent violent crimes against police officers, deliberately inciting violence towards law enforcement is now a class D felony.

Senator Nozzolio "We will not tolerate the senseless and cowardly acts of violence against our police officers as they put their lives on the line every day to protect us. We have seen a surge in violent crimes against on-duty police officers so ensuring their safety has never been more important. I look forward to continuing to work with my colleagues to strengthen New York's criminal justice laws."

The bill will be sent to the Assembly.

Bruce Ball-less Jenner

That's what the husband of a dead NYPD cop calls the Kastrated Kardashian.

From the NY Post:
The husband of a cop killed on 9/11 returned his wife’s posthumous Woman of the Year award to Glamour after the magazine gave the same honor last week to Caitlyn Jenner.

James Smith told The Post he yanked the award off the shelf in his Long Island home dedicated to his wife, Moira, and FedExed it back to the magazine.

Moira, who died at the age of 38 after rushing into the south tower, was honored by the magazine a month after her death.

But after Jenner, 66, was anointed last week, Smith told the magazine’s editor, Cindi Leive, to take the award and shove it.

“I was shocked and saddened to learn that Glamour has just named Bruce Jenner ‘Woman of the Year,’ ” Smith wrote in his scathing missive, calling the former Olympic track star and Kardashian reality-show patriarch “Bruce Ball-less Jenner.”

“Was there no woman in America, or the rest of the world, more deserving than this man?” Smith wrote. “At a time when we have women in the armed forces fighting and dying for our country, heroic doctors fighting deadly diseases, women police and firefighters putting their lives on the line for total strangers, brave women overcoming life threatening diseases . . . the list of possibilities goes on . . . is this the best you could do?”

It's Time Again.

The idiots are getting bolder and bolder. I had an incident last week with three black shitheads youths as I was leaving the courthouse. I was really tempted to smack one of them who jumped in front of my face waving his arms and shouting. The kid apparently was high as a kite and was screaming gibberish to the delight of his fellow idiots. They ran down the street pummeling parked police cars. I was standing next to two female prosecutors and didn't want to get involved in a ruckus and have them hurt so I ignored them. Then this afternoon as I was leaving a detective told me about an incident he had in the exact same spot this week with another group of young blacks. He threatened to beat the crap out of them and they took off. He told me I was nuts not to be carrying in the courthouse these days.

I am going to approach my boss about wearing a gun to work. As a contractor doing investigations I had special permission from the courts to do this but I let it lapse. It's been 17 years: it's time again.

Because cops are pulling back in their aggressive enforcement effort, the idiots are running amok. The shootings in our city are going through the roof. The FBI director commented on this recently and was rebuked by the White House. Now the DEA chief stepped up to the plate and took a swing at Obama and his circus clowns.
WASHINGTON — The nation's top drug enforcement official said Wednesday that FBI Director James Comey was "spot on'' when he recently offered the controversial assessment that violent crime surges in some cities may be linked to police officers' reluctance to engage suspects.

"I think there is something to it,'' Drug Enforcement Administration chief Chuck Rosenberg told reporters, referring to the so-called "Ferguson-effect'' in which police have been reportedly hesitant to act for fear of prompting the kind of civil unrest that engulfed Ferguson, Mo., last year. "I think (Comey) was spot on.''

Comey's remarks during appearances last month in Chicago put the FBI director at odds with some in law enforcement and the White House, which indicated that existing evidence did not support such a claim.

"I will say that the available evidence at this point does not support the notion that law enforcement officers around the country are shying away from fulfilling their responsibilities,'' White House spokesman Josh Earnest said last week. "On the contrary, I think you’ve seen a lot of local law enforcement leaders indicate that police officers and sheriffs and other local law enforcement officials are actually dedicated public servants who on a daily basis are putting their lives on the line to serve and protect the communities that they’re assigned to.''

Sandra Bland Death - So Far No Evidence Of Foul lay

From The NY Post:
DALLAS — The autopsy of a woman who was found dead in a Texas jail revealed no injuries that would suggest she died in a violent homicide, authorities said Thursday.

Waller County prosecutor Warren Diepraam discussed details of the autopsy of 28-year-old Sandra Bland, who authorities say was found hanging in her jail cell on July 13.

The autopsy showed that Bland had no defensive injuries on her hands that would typically indicate a struggle, the prosecutor said. Some lacerations or abrasions were found on her wrists. Those injuries were consistent with a struggle while being handcuffed.

The marks around Bland’s neck were consistent with a suicide, he said.
Still need to see the serology lab results but if she had no visitors there probably will only be residual results if any (chemicals). She was in jail for three days and that is still a mystery. Why wasn't she bailed out?

In any event, she allegedly admitted that she had a previous suicide attempt in interviews with two of the jailors:
Waller County Sheriff Glenn Smith has said that two jailers interviewed the 28-year-old black woman from Illinois. She told one of them that she was not depressed but was upset about her arrest, he said.

Smith said Bland appeared fine when being booked on a charge of assaulting a public servant.

Documents filled out for Bland indicate she had attempted suicide after losing a baby. But booking papers indicated she did not have suicidal thoughts when she was arrested and that no one at the jail believed she was at risk.

The idiot rookie cop who stopped her is on administrative leave until the investigation is complete. He should lose his job.
Encinia, who claimed Bland was combative and struck him, has been placed on administrative duties due to “violations of procedures regarding traffic stops and the department’s courtesy policy.”

Waller County District Attorney Elton Mathis told the Wall Street Journal that he is investigating whether Encinia violated any criminal laws during the arrest.

The Baltimore Chief Of Police Goes Mayberry RFD

It is a well established axiom that a man will say and do just about anything in order to keep a good paying job. The Baltimore Chief of Police, whose salary is $190,000, has brought this to a new level.

Right when Baltimore's murder rate is going through the ceiling and the morale of the police is dropping through the basement,  Chief Batts drops this gem:
“Our reform efforts will very likely see more police officers arrested,” Batts wrote. “We will have more officers who are forced out because their outdated, outmoded views of policing do not match the standards the community expects and demands.”
This is my prediction, many of Baltimore's best, brightest and bravest will be looking for other jobs, or they will use defensive policing tactics - the CYA patrol manual - with a vengeance. Baltimore wants a kinder, gentler police department? Stay tuned.

The NYPD proved that aggressive policing is what drops the crime rate, not touchy-feely community relations. The problem may perhaps be the standards of some officers, but the troubled Baltimore minority community has no standards. Sure, the community leaders and do-gooders come out and dance for the cameras, but when they're gone and the police are no where to be found, that's when the real community standards take over. And we've seen what those are in Baltimore and Ferguson.

You're Under ... A Hug

I doubt if I could do this. But I know some cops who could and would.

May 10, 2015

The Choice is Clear And Simple

You may have clearly defined and well enforced laws to protect the public, or you may have feel-good, emotionally reactive political correctness.

But if you want pubic safety, you can't have both as the Baltimore Sun points out.

Violence surges as Baltimore police officers feel hesitant

The number of shootings and homicides has surged in Baltimore, some police officers say they feel hesitant on the job under intense public scrutiny and in the wake of criminal charges against six officers in the Freddie Gray case.

State's Attorney Marilyn J. Mosby's decision last week to charge the officers has stoked strong opinions across the country — including praise from those who want accountability and derision from some legal experts.

But perhaps the most jarring effect has been on the Baltimore Police Department.

"In 29 years, I've gone through some bad times, but I've never seen it this bad," said Lt. Kenneth Butler, president of the Vanguard Justice Society, a group for black Baltimore police officers. Officers "feel as though the state's attorney will hang them out to dry."

Several officers said in interviews they are concerned crime could spike as officers are hesitant to do their jobs, and criminals sense opportunity. Butler, a shift commander in the Southern District, said his officers are expressing reluctance to go after crime.

Possible, But Not Likely

Years ago I was involved in a trial where an expert medical witness was called to the stand. The defense attorney was desperate to get him to admit that his client's injury claims were in fact grounded in good medical diagnostic practices and that his client was severely injured. The learned doctor would rely over and over again, "That's possible, but not likely." It drove the attorney nuts.

But in the case of the Garland, TX, jihadi attack, the improbable did in fact happen. Thank God a cop with fast reflexes and a steady hand was at the scene.
As online chatter about a Muhammad cartoon contest began to escalate last week, the FBI and Department of Homeland Security (DHS) issued a Joint Intelligence Bulletin last Thursday. The bulletin acknowledged the potential threat, but downplayed the possibility of any violence targeting the event.

The bulletin concluded that while the event could inspire violence abroad by contributing to terrorist messaging, it was “unlikely” that such violence would happen in the United States.
So much for the so called federal experts. Apparently the experts do not take into account the Muslim male's thirst for virgins and a hearty handshake from Mohammed..

There were probably ATF experts who declared that the Waco massacre was unlikely also.

Story at PJ Media.

The lawyer lost that case I referred to. It was the first time I ever saw a lawyer literally beg a jury for a favorable judgement. The guy had no pride at all and knew his case was circling the drain.

May 4, 2015

NOW He's Good

The lawyer who represented one of the idiots killed by police in Garland, TX, in a prior arrest was shocked to earn that her client had been killed while committing an act of terrorism. She had this to say:
The attorney who once defended one of two men who opened fire at a “Draw Muhammad” event in Texas on Sunday says she was “shocked” to learn that he was involved in the attack. She says she has represented a number of people charged with terrorism-related crimes. Some of them are the “worst of the worst,” but Elton Simpson was “one of the good ones,” she said.

“He was always respectful to me and my staff—did everything he was supposed to do,” attorney Kristina Sitton told Vocativ.
With a police round between his eyes, now he's a good one.

Story here.

Critics of the Mohammed art exhibition were up in arms.
The New York Times' foreign correspondent Rukmini Callimachi asked, "Free speech aside, why would anyone do something as provocative as hosting a 'Muhammad drawing contest?' "
It amazes me how the media embraces provocative art like Serrano's "Piss Christ" or Mapplethrope's picture of some guy with a bullwhip stuck up his ass, but blows a gasket when Islam receives the same treatment.

Unbelieveable

The Sheriff of Wicomico County, MD, made the two hour drive to Baltimore with his deputies and an armored vehicle (MRAP) to assist the Baltimore cops during the riots. What he found out when he got there is disturbing.
“I hadn’t planned to go to Baltimore at all. I watched the events unfold Saturday night like we all did, and was very concerned about what I saw, and the the lack of response Saturday night,” he said. “I immediately rallied up the troops. We made sure our MRAP was prepared and ready. … We were assigned to assigned to protect Baltimore City Police headquarters, all of E. Fayette Street up to City Hall, to include City Hall. There wasn’t a whole lot of activity taking place at all. We could smell that putrid smell of burning tires and a city on fire when as we came into the city.

[...]“I was sick to my stomach like everybody else. … This was urban warfare, no question about it. They were coming in absolutely beaten down. The [city officers] got out of their vehicles, thanked us profusely for being there, apologized to us for having to be there. They said we could have handled this, we were very capable of handling this, but we were told to stand down, repeatedly told to stand down,” he said. “I had never heard that order come from anyone — we went right out to our posts as soon as we got there, so I never heard the mayor say that. But repeatedly these guys, and there were many high-ranking officials from the Baltimore City Police Department … and these guys told me they were essentially neutered from the start. They were spayed from the start. They were told to stand down, you will not take any action, let them destroy property.
Story here.

These decisions were made in the Mayor's Office. She is back pedaling now but the responsibility for the massive amount of property destruction is hers.

Once Again The Media Hyperventilates

Q: Why is the cop's pant leg rolled up?
A: Because because the idiot perp shot him with the officer's Taser.

There's a lot more to the shooting of Walter Scott but you wouldn't know that from the limited information the media supplies.

From The Conservative Treehouse:
On the first day we saw the North Charleston, South Carolina, shooting video of Walter Scott by Officer Michael Slager we were as shocked as everyone. However, as research now indicates there is much more to the story.
As we have heard, "In war the first victim is truth." The liberal media is at war with conservatives and has been for decades.

There is no lie too small that they will not hysterically bleat to the world, nor any truth so large that they will not bury it.
The South Carolina Walter Scott shooting -by Police Officer Michael Slager- is absolutely filled with intentionally missing elements in an effort by ALL INTERESTED PARTIES to sell a narrative useful for their purposes.

What does that mean? It means this is not just a legal issue; it means the shooting is being manipulated for a political benefit; it means the substance in the media reports are there to sell a purposeful narrative from one singular perspective.

EXAMPLE: All of the police officers initial incident reports have been released, except Officer Slager.

Why omit Officer Slager’s statement?

Perhaps missing because that only way the narrative sellers can claim discrepancies, ie. “lies” in the Slager report. That’s how you embed a belief in the public when the truth is divergent. Promote the lie, hide the inconvenient truth. Then, eventually, when the truth comes out, the lie has already embedded – “Hands Up, Don’t Shoot”…

And, yes, the victim was administered first aid at the scene, just as the police said.

Didn't See This In The News, Didja?

An off duy police officer was robbed and shot seven times. The three pices of s**t that did this are black. Deputy Scott Wood of the Wyandotte County Sheriff's Office is expected to survive.
KANSAS CITY, Kan. — Wyandotte County prosecutors brought charges against three men on Friday accused of carrying out an armed robbery at a Family Dollar store at 13th and Quindaro on March 3.

Charles Bowser, Dyron King and Cecil Meggerson have all been charged with two counts of aggravated robbery, one count of conspiracy to commit aggravated robbery and one count of criminal possession of a firearm related to the incident. All are being held in jail on $1 million bonds.
