Biker Blow Out

Nine Dead In Waco.
Gunfire erupted Sunday among rival biker gangs in Waco, Texas, leaving at least nine people dead, according to police.

Authorities had anticipated trouble and pre-positioned officers.

"There were at least three rival gang groups here this morning for whatever reason. As they were here, we had officers on scene. We expected issues," said Sgt. W. Patrick Swanton, a police spokesman. He later said there were at least five gangs.

The fight broke out at Twin Peaks restaurant and spilled into the parking lot. It quickly escalated from hands and feet, as weapons, to gunfire, Swanton said.
No official word on what biker gangs were involved, but chances are pictures of Mohammed were not an issue of contention between them.

This news sort of surprises me. Must be big money on the line, or they are being squeezed and having to fight for every scrap of territory. For quite some time, if dens started messing up, publicly, a major ride by their parent orgs were sent, but not to help... to stomp out their own who wouldn't back down. Yeah, something is up.

I almost wondered if this wasn't a Soros thing. But, no... It isn't aimed at disrupting civil or social, mostly just focusing on each other. I'm sticking with this being the problem of a shrinking pool of resources. Might be the economic collapse though.

Fewer have the resources to play stupid, pay for dope. Resource related is my best guess. it's the middle class that supports drugs, economically. The poor don't have money and there are too few rich, who mostly just profit from it anyway. Middle class has been crushed these last six/seven years. Actually, Dems at state level and below have been as well. Law and order, legitimate type, without Dem political cover, might be playing a part too.

Or it's just a thing. But damned odd if so.

Sounds like they stopped it too early.

Doom - perhaps economic competition did play a part in this, but only as a opening act. These gangs hate each other. When you have a bunch of armed homicidal gorillas staring each other down, the thought of who gets the bananas gets lost in the mayhem.

Odie - a cop and I were discussing that very same sentiment at work. Perhaps they should have left the self cleaning oven on a bit longer?

Starting to look like a biker brawl was turned into a police shooting gallery. Look at what was confiscated, as to weapons. None of the police (etc., seems alphabet might have been there too) were shot. Something is not adding up.

Banditos are, or were, an outlaw gang. Not sure about the other name I hear bandied about. But it is looking more and more like all, or at the very least the vast majority, of the shootings and killings were police et. al. initiated. And they, supposedly, were there before the bikers showed up? Yeah, something isn't adding up at all.

Depends on how you like your toast, perhaps. But to me, it looks like a rig or a plant gone wrong, perhaps on purpose. Hard to know, probably never will.
