The Russians Ate Hillary's Homework

In a CNN interview with internet master leaker Julian Assange, it is reported that there are even  more election leaks in the offing. Democrats are being advised to tighten their convention's lugnuts.
Wikileaks founder Julian Assange said Tuesday his whistleblowing website might release "a lot more material" relevant to the US electoral campaign.
Assange was speaking in a CNN interview following the release of nearly 20,000 emails stolen from the Democratic National Committee by suspected Russian hackers.

However, Assange refused to confirm or deny a Russian origin for the mass email leak, saying Wikileaks tries to create ambiguity to protect all its sources.
Assange also criticizes Hillary Clinton regarding her penchant for avoiding responsibility.

Hillary blames everything and everyone else for her cock ups. Instead of placing the blame for the Lewinsky affair on her husband's dick, she blamed mystical evil radical right wing extremists. For the murder of US Ambassador Stephens in Benghazi, she blamed a film maker that no one ever heard of much less saw the anti-Islamic film he produced..

And she's doing it again. She blames those pesky rooskies for the 20,000 hacked DNC emails that are humiliating the Democrats.

From CNN:
Speaking from the Ecuadorian embassy in London, where he faces extradition over sexual assault allegations, Assange told CNN that Democratic Party officials were using the specter of Russian involvement to distract from the content of the emails, which have had tumultuous affect on the party at the start of its national convention, where it is expected to make Hillary Clinton its presidential nominee.

"It raises questions about the natural instincts of Clinton that when confronted with a serious domestic political scandal, she tries to blame the Russians, blame the Chinese, et cetera," Assange told CNN.

"Because if she does that while in government, it could lead to problems," he added.
We've already got the problems she created Bucko; she's going to create more.

We'll see what kind of additional material surfaces during the general election. Seeing as Hillary has amassed quite a few enemies, and has made so many horrible decisions regarding her communications, I am guessing somebody (the Ruskies?) will sabotage her chances as the election near, probably in October, the favorite month for election surprises.

The world's smartest woman appears to me to be dumber than a bag of hammers when it comes to keeping a wrap on her secrets (and her hubby).

You know though, I get the feeling the Putin would much rather work with Hillary than Trump. She's easy, and none to bright. If nothing else, Trump would be looking for an edge, even just for his own reasons (and ego). He plays for keeps. Hillary might threaten to nuke, but I don't think they would let her.

Fredd,

Not keeping secrets tight, in politics, is suicide. There isn't a way out of that. I think she really did bury herself. Then again, they "made" $140m in the years since his time in office. If that's losing, even if it kills her career, I think she'll take it. If that's the price of getting away with murder, she's in. Yeah.

I think Putin wants a partner to give Islam a good whack that'll set 'em back a few centuries. Hillary ain't that partner.

So the real question here is: "What kind of idiots do Hillary's Cronies have to be in order to keep getting hacked?"

Euripides,

I don't think I made the connection I meant to make. She gets hacked, and they get hacked, because it is better to do a little blackmail payoff than lose out on the massive money they make from the crooked deals they can get away with by being less secure and out of the .gov security (and thus observation) of their communications. She made a fortune, while Sec State, by bypassing security. It isn't idiocy, it's just the price of corruption. Would you, if you had a criminal mind, worry about a minor blackmail problem... say at most a 2% cut... to make $50m or more? That's just the cost of doing business. Keeping that business from those who view .gov servers and such is more important. Even if she loses the race, she has made millions, tens, a hundred million?

Seriously... security of US documents isn't even on her list when it comes to that kind of money.

Doom - makes sense.

I understand Doom. Of course the Dems want to hide their money-making schemes which, I believe, have gone far afield of ethical, if not legal boundaries.

I went off on a tangent with the servers. I can build a better firewall than what these guys seem to have. It isn't too difficult to protect a server from hacking, even heavy-duty concerted hacking based out of Russia. These guys would have had more security with Gmail accounts.

Euripides,

Really? THAT bad? Okay. So crooks are complete idiots too. Alright. I didn't realize the depth of their... foul foolishness. Live and learn. Then again, I know almost nothing about security. Having a truly bad heart makes learning, or even keeping up, a bit of a trick.
