PANAMA CITY, Fla. -- People are furious after pictures of a Florida Walmart's 9/11-themed Coke display began to circulate on Twitter Tuesday afternoon.

Twitter user Shawn Richard Tweeted a picture of the display, which presented Coke Zero in place of Ground Zero and spurred thousands of angry retweets about the beverage company's marketing ploy.

Are The Saudi's Bluffing?

An article in the American Thinker posits that the leverage that Saudi Arabia is trying to use isn't quite what it appears to be.

The role of Saudis in the 9/11 attack on the U.S. has hardly been completely hidden: 15 of the 19 hijackers were Saudis, trained in Wahhabi schools. More than that, there is evidence that Saudi officials in the U.S. aided and abetted them once they were here -- people like Omar al-Bayoumi, who met with some of the hijackers on the very same day he met with someone (as yet not publicly identified) in the Saudi consulate in Los Angeles.

The Saudis are allegedly implicated in the 2001 WTC outrage in 28 pages of redacted material contained in the 2003 Congressional report that some senators have tried to make public; there is also a Senate bill that would annul a 1976 law and allow the families of 9/11 victims to sue the Saudis.

While these damning 28 pages were redacted, they are accessible to Congress members, and persons who have served on the committee itself have revealed in general terms their content. Senator Bob Graham, who co-chaired the Committee, indicates the report, “outlines a network of people that supported the hijackers while they were on the West Coast and helped them to enroll in flight school.”

Important persons *cough* Saudis *cough* associated in that "network of people" fled the US after 9/11. None of them were interviewed by federal law enforcement officials. Perhaps they were only worried about a few outstanding parking tickets, eh?

In any event, the Saudis have threatened to sell off three quarters of a trillion dollars of US assets if this bill is passed. This will prevent those assets from being frozen or seized by those families suing the sand princes.

WASHINGTON — Saudi Arabia has told the Obama administration and members of Congress that it will sell off hundreds of billions of dollars’ worth of American assets held by the kingdom if Congress passes a bill that would allow the Saudi government to be held responsible in American courts for any role in the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks.

The Obama administration has lobbied Congress to block the bill’s passage, according to administration officials and congressional aides from both parties, and the Saudi threats have been the subject of intense discussions in recent weeks between lawmakers and officials from the State Department and the Pentagon. The officials have warned senators of diplomatic and economic fallout from the legislation.

Just my ramblings, I am not sure what kind of economic impact the Saudis could wield with the sale of those assets but after Obama gets through with our economy the Saudis will be lucky to get 15 cents on the dollar.

The Senate bill is intended to make clear that the immunity given to foreign nations under the law should not apply in cases where nations are found culpable for terrorist attacks that kill Americans on United States soil. If the bill were to pass both houses of Congress and be signed by the president, it could clear a path for the role of the Saudi government to be examined in the Sept. 11 lawsuits.

Been Busy

Real busy at work and home. Will post pictures of the new bathroom and living room remodeling. Tore up the carpet yesterday in preparation for refinishing the hardwood floors and saw that I have to rip up about two feet of the floor right down to the joists. Wouldn't be celebrating Xmas in the living room this year.

But for today... Steel does not have to melt to bring a building down.

The WashTimes quotes former CIA Directer George Tenet who states that Bill Clinton sabotaged the intelligence agency's anti-terrorism efforts prior to 9/11.

The Clinton administration had bankrupted the intelligence community and refused to let the CIA prioritize anti-terrorism over other major priorities in the late 1990s, leaving the agency stretched too thin in the days ahead of the 2001 terrorist attacks, former Director George J. Tenet said in a 2005 document declassified Friday.

Mr. Tenet, who was head of the agency at the time of the Sept. 11 attacks and has taken severe criticism for not anticipating and heading them off, said in the document that he took the threat of Osama bin Laden very seriously, and put major effort into trying to penetrate al Qaeda, beginning as far back as 1998.

In one revelation, Mr. Tenet says those efforts averted off an earlier “major attack” planned by al Qaeda for some time in 1999 or 2000. The document gives no other details.

Like JFK's Assassination, Will We Ever Know The Whole Story Behind 9/11?

Is there is an attempt to release classified information that was concealed from the public in the 2002 investigation into 9/11?

Or is this just more political grandstanding.

The Obama administration is facing renewed pressure to release a top secret report that allegedly shows that Saudi Arabia directly helped to finance the September 11 attacks.

Rand Paul, the Libertarian Republican senator from Kentucky, is demanding that Mr Obama declassify 28 pages that were redacted from a 2002 US Senate report into the 9/11 attacks.

Mr Paul, who been vocal in attacking the bulk NSA spying programmes revealed by the rogue security contractor Edward Snowden and is running for president in 2016, has now promised to file an amendment to a Senate bill that would call on Mr Obama to declassify the pages.

The blacked-out pages, which have taken on an almost mythical quality for 9/11 conspiracy theorists, were classified on the orders of George W. Bush, leading to speculation they confirmed Saudi involvement.

The NY Post also had something to say and about the Bush dynasty and the Saudi royal family as well as Salon. If any of this is true, then Bush's post-Presidential efforts with American veterans is nothing more than a guilty conscience in action.

A U.S. congressman calling for the release of classified material from a report into 9/11 has warned there would be 'anger, frustration, and embarrassment' if the redacted pages were made public.

Representative Thomas Massie has joined a call for the government to declassify 28 pages redacted from the Joint Inquiry into Intelligence Community Activities Before and After the Terrorist Attacks of September 11, 2001. 

Earlier this year, the lawmaker described how he had to 'try to rearrange my understanding of history' after he read the classified pages of the joint investigation by the House and Senate intelligence committees.

[...]He said: 'I had to stop every couple of pages and just sort of absorb and try to rearrange my understanding of history for the past 13 years and the years leading up to that.

'It challenges you to rethink everything and so I think the whole country needs to go through that.

'It's going to be difficult and it could be embarrassing, but that is no reason to keep the truth from the American people.'

Well then, let's get to it. Rep. Massie is R-KY.
I have more than a passing fancy that this involves either a Clinton or the Saudis - or both.

More People Who Should Be Shot

There were 28 pages on the congressional 9/11 report that were completely redacted by President Bush. A few Congressmen requested access to see these pages and were shocked at what they found - the active participation of the Saudi government in the murder of nearly 3,000 Americans.

There needs to be a reckoning. What the hell do the Muslims have over our leaders?

After the 9/11 attacks, the public was told al Qaeda acted alone, with no state sponsors.

But the White House never let it see an entire section of Congress’ investigative report on 9/11 dealing with “specific sources of foreign support” for the 19 hijackers, 15 of whom were Saudi nationals.

It was kept secret and remains so today.

President Bush inexplicably censored 28 full pages of the 800-page report. Text isn’t just blacked-out here and there in this critical-yet-missing middle section. The pages are completely blank, except for dotted lines where an estimated 7,200 words once stood (this story by comparison is about 1,000 words).

A pair of lawmakers who recently read the redacted portion say they are “absolutely shocked” at the level of foreign state involvement in the attacks.

[...] The Saudis deny any role in 9/11, but the CIA in one memo reportedly found “incontrovertible evidence” that Saudi government officials — not just wealthy Saudi hardliners, but high-level diplomats and intelligence officers employed by the kingdom — helped the hijackers both financially and logistically. The intelligence files cited in the report directly implicate the Saudi embassy in Washington and consulate in Los Angeles in the attacks, making 9/11 not just an act of terrorism, but an act of war.

The findings, if confirmed, would back up open-source reporting showing the hijackers had, at a minimum, ties to several Saudi officials and agents while they were preparing for their attacks inside the United States. In fact, they got help from Saudi VIPs from coast to coast:

Thousands of bikers descended on Washington, DC, today for a memorial run commemorating the 12 anniversary of the 9/11 murders of nearly 3,000 Americans. They were denied a federal permit for this but they rode anyway. Of course the feds approved the so called Million Muslim March which attracted far fewer participants.

And why were the Moozies meeting? Well,the American Muslim Political Action Committee wanted to "draw attention to what they call unfair fear of Muslims after the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks."

Whiny Moozies, unfair fear?? I swear by Mohammed's Curly Ass Hairs that is the most lame excuse for a rally I ever heard.

It's like the Nazi's holding a Nuremberg Rally to protest the unfair rise in natural gas prices caused by the murder of 6 million Jews.
