Why Does America Have So Much Difficulty Executing Murderers?

Supreme Court Justice Gorsuch helped an Arkansas murderer meet his Maker by breaking a tie vote to allow the execution.
In what will undoubtedly be a memorable first major tie-breaking vote as a Supreme Court Judge, Neil Gorsuch cast the deciding vote last night to allow Arkansas to begin executing a group of 8 death-row inmates. The decision came after attorneys for the State of Arkansas sought an expedited process to allow for the executions to proceed before their lethal-injection drugs expire at the end of April.
The "Kill You" drugs used by Arkansas were about to expire? Wha? Don't they have veterinarians in Arkansas?

The drug most commonly used by veterinarians to euthanize a dog is phenobarbital, an anti-seizure medication that in a large dosage will stop the heart and brain function in about two minutes.
Done.
And it costs anywhere from $50 to $150 per injection. If the murder victim is related to a veterinarian, I bet it will be done gratis.

Sleep and Dream, Sweet Prince, As We Boot Your Ass Into Eternity

Arkansas used a Cocktail O'Death using three ingredients:
Midazolam, the drug used to make inmates unconscious before two more drugs paralyze and kill them, does not effectively prevent a painful death. The second drug, pancuronium bromide, paralyzes the inmate. The third, potassium chloride, brings on cardiac arrest and stops the heart.
The cost of these cocktails has risen sharply; last year the American Pharmacists Association refused to participate in executions. As there are relatively few executions in the US the cost of these chemicals has increased from $500 per vial to over $1,000. We really need to talk to the veterinarians.

There is yet another avenue to achieve low cost, painless executions. About $30 worth of street heroin will blissfully place the murderer in the arms of Morpheus, forever.

Justice Ginsburg Expresses Concern About Lack Of Fiber In Her Diet

Whatever she expressed concern about is nothing more than liberal dementia presenting itself.
“I think of the U.S. as a place that welcomes people from abroad who want to work and who are yearning to be free,” she said. “It’s disheartening to see that there are some people who don’t agree with that view who think our borders should be closed. But it’s not the first time in U.S. history that has happened.”
Across our borders come a flood of criminals, heroin, cocaine and assorted and sundry parasites who drop a foal and then collect welfare and this decrepit loon is afraid that people will take issue.

Deliver Us ... From Idiots

The wife and I watched Disney's "The Prince of Egypt" last night on DVD. It's still one of my favorite animated movies. Especially the first seven minutes where the opening scene is the song "Deliver us.".

Deliver us. The Jews prayed for deliverance from 430 years of slavery finally ending under the rule of a Pharaoh by the name of Thutmoses III (not Ramsses II who was Pharaoh 200 years later).

The liberals pray for deliverance from a duly elected Chief Executive of the United States named Donald Trump who is against slavery, wants everyone to have a good job and protect us from terrorists. And he's been President for two weeks.

The liberals want to be delivered from the threat of a conservative Supreme Court and now pray for 83 year old Justice Ruth Ginsburg to live forever, or at least for another four years. To ensure her longevity, liberals are flooding the media with suggestions on prolonging her life.
On Tuesday evening, President Donald Trump nominated Neil Gorsuch for deceased Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia's long-empty seat. On Wednesday morning, liberals woke up, did the math and realized it was time to be concerned about Ruth Bader Ginsburg's fiber intake. Also bone density. Also exposure to airborne viruses (Madame Justice, what is your flu shot status?), and salmonella, and slippery ice, and also: Has anyone heard how scientists are coming along with a Zika vaccine?

"I'm very interested in this." says Jeanette Bavwidinski, a community organizer in Pennsylvania. "I'm interested in what her daily regimen is. Like, what are you all feeding RBG? Is she getting enough fresh air? Is she walking? Is she staying low-stress? What is she reading? Is she reading low-stress things?"

"Can she eat more kale?" asks Kim Landsbergen, a forest ecologist in Ohio. "Eat more kale, that's all I can say. We love you. Eat more kale.

Nuke The Dems With Justice Gorsuch

We need to get Justice Neil Gorsuch on the Supreme's bench.
The Democrat's nuclear option created by Sen. Reid is just the way to go.
We get a true conservative on the Court and we piss off Schumer.
Release the nukes!

Yeehaw!!

A Flood Of Butthurt

Noah's Flood will seem like a a spilled glass of water when Trump announces his choice for Justice Scalia's replacement on the US Supreme Court. The wailing and lamentations of liberals will be enough to warm conservative heart cockles for decades.

From the NY Post:
President Trump is scheduled to announce his nominee for the vacant US Supreme Court seat this week. There should be no illusions about the confirmation battle that will follow.

No matter what Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer says about revenge not being a motive for Democrats or how fair they plan to be, there’s only one way the Republicans will be able to replace the late Justice Antonin Scalia.

It’s nuclear or nothing.

The so-called nuclear option would happen if Republicans fully quash the filibuster, a process Democrats began eroding in 2013 when they nuked the filibuster for most judicial and executive-branch nominees.

The Democrats had the majority then, and heedless of the possibility that the tables might soon be turned, former leader Harry Reid decided to short-circuit the ability of the minority to frustrate the will of President Obama by forcing Democrats to get 60 votes on nominees.

Republican House Majority Leader McConnell, release the Kracken!
God bless you Harry Reid.  May the Rubber Band Of Karma strike you repeatedly in the face.
May Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schemer enjoy the same success.

But I ... Trump can't ... why is this ... I gotta pee

Supreme Court Justice Ginsburg Is Worried

Apparently Ms. Ginsburg forgot where she put her teeth and just plain lost it. If Trump wins the Universe as we know it will be at risk. Immutable natural laws may change, tens of millions of Americans will illegally enter Mexico and demand welfare, Islamic dietary laws will demand the consumption of raw bacon, Bill Clinton will be celibate...
Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg believes "everything" will be up for grabs if Donald Trump is elected president and has the opportunity to appoint several justices to the high Court.

"I don't want to think about that possibility, but if it should be, then everything is up for grabs," Ginsburg said of the presumptive Republican nominee succeeding in his bid for the White House in an interview published Friday by The Associated Press.

The 83-year-old justice, who belongs to the court's liberal wing, said it's "likely that the next president, whoever she will be, will have a few appointments to make." Ginsburg is the oldest of the eight justices currently on the bench, while two of her colleagues – Anthony Kennedy and Stephen Breyer – are closing in on 80.

4th Of July Musings

I did not celebrate Independence Day. There is nothing to celebrate.

Rather it should be a day of mourning for what once was.
America is toast.
We are no longer free.
The document that secured our freedoms has been trashed, pounded into dust by self serving politicians, craven judges and an uncaring populace.

The latest Supreme Court decision on on same sex marriages was celebrated and hailed by perverts and poo-pooed by ignorant pundits who did not bother looking into the warnings of the minority opinion. What will happen with this landmark decision is that the constitutional freedoms of religion   and free speech, both 1st Amendment rights, have just been cast into the dung heap of History.

Quite frankly, Chief Justice Roberts hits the nail squarely on the head with this in his dissent:
Those who founded our country would not recognize the majority’s conception of the judicial role. They after all risked their lives and fortunes for the precious right to govern themselves. They would never have imagined yielding that right on a question of social policy to unaccountable and unelected judges. And they certainly would not have been satisfied by a system empowering judges to override policy judgments so long as they do so after “a quite extensive discussion.”
Marriage was created for one purpose, to procreate, that is, replace the aging population by promoting and protecting the most beneficial family environment for rearing children - a union between a man and a woman. This is true throughout human history, even in cultures that embraced homosexuality, such as the ancient Greeks. The continuance of any civilization is dependent upon procreation; if there is insufficient renewal, that civilization dies within a few generations.

But what really should alarm every American who believes that homosexual intercourse is a sin is this nugget from  Roberts:
Respect for sincere religious conviction has led voters and legislators in every State that has adopted same-sex marriage democratically to include accommodations for religious practice. The majority’s decision imposing same-sex marriage cannot, of course, create any such accommodations. The majority graciously suggests that religious believers may continue to “advocate” and “teach” their views of marriage. The First Amendment guarantees, however, the freedom to “exercise” religion. Ominously, that is not a word the majority uses.
This is very important. We can "teach" and we can "advocate" but the 1st Amendment right to "exercise" our religious beliefs may have just disappeared courtesy of five liberal judges, one of whom is a sodomite. Indeed, lawsuits will flourish as sodomites will flock to churches to insist that their unholy unions be sanctified. Churches and para-religious organizations (hospitals, colleges, adoption agencies, etc.) will lose their tax exempt status.

Of course the sodomites will target Christian outlets; Christians are low hanging fruit and there is little consequence in offending them. It should get interesting if they decide to go after the mosques.

I can see where any discussion expressing doubt about the legitimacy of homosexual behavior will be criminalized as hate speech. That'll just about do it for the 1st Amendment.

NOTE: Interesting enough, of the three female Justices (Sonia Sotomayor, Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Elena Kagan) only Ginsburg is married and has borne children.

Public Sector Unions Slapped by Supremes

The legislators who passed these laws should aso be forced to pay restitution and interest for the dues forcibly removed from these health care workers paychecks.

From the Washington Free Beacon:
The Supreme Court ruling that struck down coercive union membership among Illinois home health workers could cost unions tens of millions of dollars, according to labor observers.

The court ruled 5-4 that Illinois Gov. Pat Quinn (D.) violated the First Amendment when he forced home health care workers, many of whom were caring for sick family members, to pay union dues. The ruling will impact the SEIU and AFSCME, the two unions that earned millions from the scheme, according to Paul Kersey of the Illinois Policy Institute.

“There’s $20 million a year they are used to getting from home care people and [home] daycare people and they won’t be receiving that soon,” he said. “This should bring an end to that.”

[...]The decision could strike a devastating blow to national labor groups, despite the fact that home health care workers in Illinois paid as little as $30 a month to the unions, according to Semmens.

“We’ve estimated that there are as many as half a million people who aren’t state employees being called state employees for the purpose of paying dues,” he said.

The National Right to Work Committee said that the Harris fight was the beginning, rather than the end of its push to end coercive public sector unionism.
