There's something about a love song...

There's something about a love song that grabs me by the neck. Add to it a World War, worried women, brave men and the dream of a happy reunion and I try to hold back tears. These were our parents. These were our barbers, neighbors and teachers. These are my heroes.

Unlike the President of the United States, I always stand and place my hand over my heart in salute to these people and the flag under which many of them fell.
