Counting Down the Hits ... Top 10 Most Odious Word/Phrases: #10

You know those countdown harmony singers on the FM dial that give it to you right before the song starts (as you wait with anticipation) ... Got that sound in your head? Well, here you go:

Num-ber 10 ...

"Bipartisanship"
-- Let's see, let's try a nautical illustration. Bi = Two. + Parts = Two Parts times One Ship = Republicans walk the plank. Since it's football season, here's another example ... Republicans win the coin toss but defer to the second half. Democrats get the ball and go on offense for entire first half. Republicans penalized and called racists when they ask to get the ball back in second half. Republicans kick off again in second half. Repeat first half. Game over. ACORN workers in luxury boxes cheer wildly.

More (9) to come as we cleanse our system. It's medicine we must take ...

It's only bipartisanship when Republicans agree with Democrats ...

Bipartisanship is to do and say, the stupidest thing in the friendliest way.

You wanna see bipartisanship? Olympia Snowe and Jane Fonda. Case closed.

Red, patience my lady. I am thinking we drag it out to roll out Numero Uno on Halloween. Like that?

These are like fine terds in a punchbowl ... meant to be savored.

Wood, you got it. Now, get to the plank. ARRRRRRR.

Candle, that is brilliant. I like yours better than mine.

Nickie G. ... Exactly. We must find common ground. Beware of those who think finding something in common with every one trumps all other virtues.

Speaking of bipartisanship, looks like the NY Republicans have gone and nominated another incarnation of Bella Abzug.

Need to fight this. Primary battles are where it's at. These people get elected and they seek ...

Bipartisanship ... (cue Vincent Price laugh).

DC...I have to come clean. I just rewrote Isaac Goldberg's line, "Diplomacy is to do and say the nastiest thing in the nicest way". The template is there for all to rewrite for just about any occasion...(/shame).

Thank you, Candle, for coming clean. Most conservatives eventually do. You will be rewarded.

Now, we will send you to the "bipartisan" ethics panel, you know ... the one that hounds Republicans out of office whilst endlessly seeking more info and never coming to a conclusion in the very close case of, say, Charlie Rangel.

Actually, you should have just said, "My bad" ... it we would have been "all good". Hell, Biden lifted an entire speech from a socialist back in 1984 and it lifted him to the lofty heights of the worst VP in history.

Keep hope alive. Hope, and then change, Candle. (Insert smart-ass face).

Last night I was exiting the Bottle 'n Cork at a late hour and was confronted by a hooligan brandishing a Glock G20c. In the spirit of bipartisanship I handed over my wallet and pocket change. He responded in bipartisanship by pistol-whipping me and lacerating my ear. He didn't kill be.

Bipartisanship works!
