Quiz on Ft. Hood Murderer

Nidal Malik Hasan, who murdered unarmed soldiers at Ft. Hood today along with a police officer, is, according to a family member: A) a fundamentalist Christian; B) an orthodox Jew; or C) a devout Muslim.

Now, bonus question: True or False: The latest Muslim to murder innocents also spoke approvingly of suicide bombers earlier this year.

If you want to know whether there are serious, foundational problems within Islam, note that the real concern expressed by CAIR and others today is whether there will be some sort of blowback against Muslims because of Hasan's actions.

Shouldn't there be some sort of serious scrutiny of an ideology that continues to spawn armies of zombies whose primary tactical weapon is to launch surprise attacks on non-combatants and the unarmed? Are we too politically correct to ask the tough questions? Does Islam sanction violence against infidels? If it does not, then why do so many of its adherents go down this path? And why are Muslims largely silent on this? Why is open and rampant anti-Semitism tolerated, as if it were an article of faith?

The sleuths in the MSM won't ask these questions for militant jihadis make the points of many of their post-modern critiques of Western Civilization.

Back to the reality on the ground here in Texas ... I hear a Texas woman wounded and stopped Hasan. It figures.

Now, the justice system and the 24/7 news cycle will get drunk on Hasan Fever. I need to get over to MSNBC to see if Olber-Exaggerator can bring himself to even say the name of this coward.

I say let Hasan loose and if he makes it out of Texas, he goes free.

But I jest. The Judeo-Christian value system that Hasan and his ilk decry prevents rough justice. But there will be ultimate justice.

And I've got news for you. It's not going to be dispensed by a jihadi.

Update: Took a trip to "Morning Joe", and NBC Pentagon correspondent reported that Hasan shouted "Allah Akbar!" before opening fire. Reporter on the set with Joe then said, "Let's not draw conclusions." Then, they went back to covering the AARP endorsement of the Demos' healthcare bill. Back to Fox.

Update II: Although Hasan carried out murders in military uniform, Scarborough wants us to know that Muslim in white robe on military base is not something out of the ordinary and we should not be alarmed by that.

D) A terrorist created by Bush-Cheney policies.

The doctors should have kept him alive to tell why he went off the rocker, then back off and let him bleed out after stuffing his wound with bacon.

Hmm.. interestingly enough, if you spent any time reading comments on Huffington Post, you would believe Nickie is absolutely correct. American Imperialism, they're calling it.

This event will turn into yet another case in which only talk radio, Fox News Channel, and right wing 'teabaggers' ask the real questions and accept the truth.

The inability to recognize and identify evil - or danger itself - is just one of the rotten consequences of decadent Western liberalism.

Today's liberals will temporize until they nearly drown in pools of blood, and then call to be saved by their betters.

My local news is already trying to spin it like we should feel sorry for this guy. He was "picked on" because he was Muslim. Disgusting.

Yes, yes ... lots of excuse-making, etc. around. But the truth will come out. On CNN, of all places, there is video of Hasan in traditional Muslim garb on the a.m. of the shooting (convenience store surveillance video).

But the owner said he often came in like this. He was a devout Muslim who apparently was at least somewhat enamored with suicide bombers ... and also justified the recent attack on a recruiter.

But never mind ... move along.

Americans will notice.

What?! A devout Muslim shouted “Allah Akbar!” before firing on unarmed people? What possible conclusion could be drawn from that?!

The way that this is being reported in pc Britain is 'Army Major' or 'phsyciatrist' shoots unarmed soldiers. They are reluctant to speak the truth regarding muslims.

Pretty sad, but the very first question I asked when I heard about this event yesterday was - "What nationality was he", because it so often seems to be that it's Muslims that perpetrate these acts on Americans. If I can see it, why can't our esteemed elected officials and our military hierarchy see it?

My son is a Marine being deployed to Afghanistan on Sunday. He has already served in Iraq. I am going to worry about him for the next 7+ months. He is going to be preoccupied with the enemy over there, but now he has to be weary of his own "brothers in arms" as well. That is ridiculous. While this sporadic violence doesn't involve ALL Muslims, it does involve some. To that end, I say get ALL Muslims out of the military until this war is over. To many of them it's too personal. Getting them out of the military is one way to help protect our soldiers!

If you all are that worried about Muslims taking over, maybe you should consider spreading the good news of Jesus Christ, if you believe in it. Our reluctance to tell our neighbors and coworkers about Christ allows other faiths to get the upper hand, so to speak, because they aren't afraid. All the while we try to keep prayer in schools.

This is what we get, if indeed he killed people because he was Muslim.

The WHO should be issuing a level 6 pandemic alert and distributing the vaccine for the new ISLAM virus. Apparently it's highly contagious, has infected people across the globe, and results in high rates of mortality.

Writer, I think this story is the latest and best example of the media's impotency.

DC, they're noticing at MY house. Every editorial seems to stress that Muslims are overwhelmingly peaceful folks. I wish they'd offer the same disclaimer for Christians and patriots.

Arby, NPR are still trying to unravel this conundrum.

JPT... It's the same thing here.

HBLS... You obviously haven't read the latest memo. The strength of our military is DIVERSITY, so we must recruit and encourage Muslims, homosexuals and women to military service in order to humanize our historically hateful and inefficient fighting forces.

Move along, every one ... these comments miss the issue ... It's our fault, don't you know?

Hoping, Godspeed to your son and Semper Fidelis. Re; getting Muslims out of the military, I don't agree. I think we should, however, investigate immediately when some one says something positive about suicide bombings, though. PC culture prohibits this. Also, we have many mechanisms in the UCMJ and military procedure in general to deal with people speaking out against American foreign policy while on active duty. This is flatly against the rules and all U.S. servicemen know this. That's why I had to take down my Clinton picture after the 1992 election. We will probably be more vigilant going forward.

Still ... let's keep our eye on the real problem -- Militant Islam. The question is: How much of Islam is militant? CAIR is whining this a.m. about blowback. They are making my point. Yesterday was the blowback we should be talking about!

We seem reluctant to admit the obvious. There is a major problem in the world with one major religion fostering violence worldwide. This needs to be addressed and discussed in detail. And until Muslims lead this discussion instead of whining about non-existent prejudice, this festering boil remains unlanced.

Dan, when I hear of stories like this one, I have to think Christ has been forcibly removed from both the military process and the solution.

Anonymous said...

DC, I'm amazed that CAIR seems to have a presence on every network's coverage. We, as a nation, are in full-blown denial/suicide mode.

Anonymous said...

Scunny, the vaccinations are standard .38 caliber. Under ObamaNation, the manufacture and distribution of these lifesavers are being discouraged.

Dan,

Not worried about Muslims taking over. It's a matter of defending the country and culture, somewhat akin to when a burglar is in the house. Although I share your sentiments as a Christian re: living our faith out on a personal level, really taking on jihadis is a little more complex than that. Praise the Lord ... but pass the ammunition.

As for shyness, the Muslims would claim that the "Great Muslim Center" of Moderates is shy or silent. I wonder, if they are such a majority in the Religion of Peace ... why not just reassert control?

Anonymous said...

Nickie,

You remind me of one of those hosts with the mike in the studio audience. Well done.

As for CAIR, they are the OBL's Tokyo Rose. Keep a sharp eye on those propagandists. Hardcore jihadis will also explain to you that lying to the infidels is permissible to advance the Global Caliphate and/or pass pass health care reform.

Thinking more about waiting on the Moderates (or is it Godot?) ... There's a great short book in the library you can read ... "Moderates Who Showed Up Just in Time and Saved the Day". You can get through it real quick, in a couple of minutes or so.

It's sad that our own media is scared to call this man a terrorist for doing a terrorist act. They're scared because of his religion. They can't do it - it's not politically correct.

It didn't bother them to call Timothy McVey a terrorist, did it?

God Bless our troops. They are in danger home and abroad.

Sig, great stuff. You are right on the money.

And ILBR, exactly ... man, you should have heard Col Bill Peters tonight. He was on fire on the O'Reilly show tonight. O.Reilly was speechless and in awe. He said pretty much what you did, except he said it makes him want to puke. O'Gas Bag just smiled and went to break.
