I am not totally against abortion "rights" for those who quailify. Everyday I see on tv, the internet and in the newspapers chances for abortion that have been missed, and this country is poorer for it. Funny thing is that those that think abortion is a good ideal are the ones America could really do without.
The devil is in the details. And the "details" are in the qualifications. As we have seen time and time again in our nation's history, once a right is invented out of thin air, as was the "right" to an abortion, there are few if any qualifications. Look at voting rights. Abortions are in the same category. Are you going to deny abortions only to women who have a felony conviction?

When does personage or personhood attach to the unborn? The newborn is just as dependant on another person for care as a three week old fetus. Without the intervention (passive or active - does it matter) of a care giver the child is tot.
