The Gospel According to Cusack

It really is beginning to be a pastime, a hobby - documenting the omens and portents of impeding celebrity meltdown as the elections draw nigh. It's better than reading goat entrails (Nickie always wants certain parts); these pampered, privileged patricians and practitioners of the performing arts are going right out of their high society minds.

For instance, take actor John Cusack.

Actor John Cusack went on a caustic Twitter rampage Sunday evening, attacking former House Majority Leader Dick Armey, former House Speaker Newt Gingrich and Fox News.

“I AM FOR A SATANIC DEATH CULT CENTER AT FOX NEWS HQ AND OUTSIDE THE OFFICES OF DICK ARMEY AND NEWT GINGRICH-and all the GOP WELFARE FREAKS,” Cusack tweeted.

And not just any death center will do for Mr. Cusack. A Satanic Death Cult Center is what's needed. I know Halloween is just around the corner but really ... does he mean something like a storefront/walk-in or a street kiosk?

John Cusack is a horrible actor. I could act better then he if I had the flu.

And yea, why are these critters dumber than a bag of headless hammers.

I wonder what he's been putting in his peace pipe.

What gets me is that he thought his comment was insightful? Or funny? It's like much of the "humor" or "comedy" we see on the left today ... unfunny, unthoughtful. It's more akin to irrational teenage rage.

He's mad because "We the People" don't support his favorite charity ... "Dead Beats". How about he liquidate all of his assets and give it all to them ... problem solved!

Kid - no talent, no class. He is a true Hollywood creation.

UG Pew - whatever it is it seems like an awful lot of his friends are smoking it too.

DC - he's preaching to the choir, the same choir of idiots that has vexed this nation for fifty years. These idiots were rolling in the aisles when they read his tweet. The networks were full of netroots tweeting LOL and 111!!!111.

He had better watch out saying 'GOP Welfare freaks'. His nonsensical statement may lead liberals to think GOP is pro welfare, and get us more votes.

I used to like Cusak. This is a sad turn of events.

John Cusak couldn't act like more of a "Liberal Fool" - you have to give him credit for that! He is definitely Harvard Community College (HHC-drama department) material.

Lyn - I thought about that, but I think his tiny little brain was feebly trying to draw a connection between the GOP and corporate welfare.

Opus - too many years drinking too much koolaid.

Well what can we expect? This is a guy who makes his living at an adult version of "make believe".

Alice Cooper used to say that anyone relying on political insight from a rock star was a bigger idiot than they were, I think it also applies to actors and their followers.

Siggie... Back in the 60's was embarrassed by John Wayne's over-the-top patriotism. I never would have guessed how much I'd miss guys like him.

Cusac is taking his rightful place among such intellectual heavyweights as Cher, Alec Baldwin and Hanoi Jane Fonda.

Nickie - I always liked the Duke. My dad was crazy about him. Both my parents used to dress like him. It was kinda weird hearing my dad drawl, "Would ya please pass the potatos Pilgrim?"
