"Drastic Times Require What? ... That's Right!!"

Actually, saw this on Ace first.

We usually don't use this space to promote family or personal agendas, but I thought Rhod's little brother Phil deserves it and he has our unwavering support (even though he amazingly lost the nomination). Phil is a little more centrist and soft-spoken than Rhod:

Jeez... He's like Rhod without the severe stutter. I wonder if he earned his Masters in Communication at that roadside college Rhod was running a few years back. I remember buying a Masters in Nursing, a Masters in Philosophy, and the tastiest blueberry pie ever.

Phil has developed a speaking style that blends the manner of a serial killer with the subtlety of Cosmo Kramer. He is only hampered by that whole short-term memory thing. Some might say that he has the potential to be this generation's Everett Dirksen.

NOW I remember him. He was my 7th wife's divorce attorney.

You're right, Nick. He was also a Rhod's Scholar.

Rhod + Quaaludes = Phil

"In the middle of difficulty you'll usually find a lunatic."

Einstein said this after shoving all thirty pages of his Theory of Relativity down the throat of his brother Sid, the pharmicist, after he dropped his tuna melt on the cover.

Laugh all you like, you hooligans. Stark County churns out patriots faster than Nickie churns out paternity suits, and faster than DC churns out straw hats. Sig? Well, you know....

Phil developed his style from Pop, and actually has Pop's features. We're trying to get Pop's features back to Pop, so don't believe the rumors that I had anything to do with it.

Phil could have been Stark County's Christie, if they could get the meds right. Maybe the Bobcat Goldthwait Syndrome could be controlled better. Who knows?

One great man unappreciated...

Rhod, I appreciate your taking it in stride. If we're behaving like hooligans, well, we apologize ... but we just want to be able to take on the Demos like our heroes like our heroes -- Phil Davison and Rhoderick Lovecraft Davison.

He has better control of his emotions than Rhod does.

Exactly, LL ... he's the family moderate/McCain supporter. Note how he stands at the POA whilst proclaiming how he supports the Republican Party and the local, state, national, and intergalactic levels.

LL, DC: When I said that brother Phil had Dad's features, I meant he had Dad's eyes, nose and ears. Literally.

Now, I'm not that bad. DC forgets that I didn't support McCain. Never. DC, on the other hand, was a fanatic FOR Harriet Meirs.

So there!
