It's a French word (rapprocher - to bring together) so there's probably cheese or white flags involved. Maybe white gloves?

It's not like America and Russia are suddenly BFF and we be like wearing each others lipstick and underwear. Not yet anyways. It's more like the same guy screwed both of us royally and we want to get even. By ripping his head off and crapping in it. From Newsweak:

The Kremlin has praised U.S. President-elect Donald Trump’s response to Monday’s attacks in Berlin and Ankara, claiming that his words are “in tune” with those of Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Trump accused a “radical Islamic terrorist” of shooting dead the Russian Ambassador to Turkey on Monday before also commenting on an attack on a Christmas market in Berlin, Germany’s capital. In response to the latter, he declared “terrorists and their regional and worldwide networks must be eradicated from the face of the Earth,” and called for international support to do so.

And their entrails worn as neckties.
Because, no one wears garters anymore.

Although little has yet been officially confirmed about the perpetrators of either attack, Russia welcomed Trump’s statement, claiming that Putin has been making the same argument for nearly two decades.

These remarks were made while Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov was speaking about Russia's desire for international cooperation in eliminating terrorism.

Of course we are referring to Presbyterian terrorists, right? Greek Orthodox terrorists? Baptist terrorists? Catholics? No?

He noted that no one country could win this fight alone, but “it can only be done together.”

Okay, lipstick, definitely lipstick. But no panties. At least not the skimpy, yellow bikini ones. They were a gift from Italy.

Germany Starts To Wake Up

Armed police officers have launched a raid on a mosque and several homes belonging to a group believed to be radicalising Muslims in Germany.

Apartments belonging to eight board members of the radical German-speaking Islamic group DIK were searched by officers in Hildesheim, Lower Saxony.

It comes as part of a crackdown on the group, which is thought to have been encouraging people to travel to Syria and Iraq to join ISIS.

The group ran sermons, seminars and lectures entitled 'the hatred of infidels', according to German media.

BERLIN — Bavarian officials on Thursday pledged to hire hundreds of extra police officers and urged tougher background checks on asylum-seekers as they presented an anti-terror plan following four deadly attacks in the country in a week.

Bavarian Interior Minister Joachim Herrmann said his state — where three of the four attacks took place — would hire some 2,000 additional police officers by 2020, improve police officers’ equipment and create new offices to fight Muslim extremism and cybercrime.

He also called for tougher background checks on asylum-seekers and new strategies to deport criminal asylum-seekers more easily. Three of the four attacks were committed by asylum-seekers.

The FBI has become so politicized it can't find its own ass in the dark with a flashlight and a hot poker.

They're still trying to find another motive for the Orlando Pulse slaughter.

The autopsy of the gunman who massacred 49 people in a Florida nightclub attack last month revealed he was HIV-negative and likely a long-term user of steroids, two U.S. law enforcement officials said.

The revelation comes as FBI agents continue to scour the background of Omar Mateen for clues as to why he launched his June 12 rampage at Orlando’s Pulse nightclub, the deadliest mass shooting in U.S. history.

The 29-year-old had became radicalized in recent years, FBI officials have said, and pledged allegiance to Islamic State militants during his attack.

Federal investigators are not sure if steroids played a role in the shooting. A medical examiner found evidence of physical changes to Mateen’s body that were consistent with long-term steroid use, the officials said, and is seeking to confirm that assessment through further testing.

Sounds like the FBI is trying to hang the Schwarzenegger defense on Omar. They might be creating a public service advertisement warning people that, "This is your brain, this is your brain on steroids murdering scores of people and screaming Allah Akbar."

Allah forbid that the Religion of Piece be found at fault. The FBI investigated this mook for nearly a year and diddin doo nuffin.

In interviews with The Times, senior FBI officials provided new details of their early focus on Mateen and some of the lessons they have drawn as the FBI assesses and tracks more than 1,000 suspected extremists across the country.

The 10-month probe remains one of the enduring and frustrating mysteries of Mateen’s deadly rampage at the Pulse nightclub.

The day after the attack, FBI Director James B. Comey broadly outlined the 2013-2014 investigation to reporters. He staunchly defended the bureau, saying he didn’t “see anything in reviewing our work that our agents should have done differently.” [emphasis mine~sig94]

[...]The senior FBI official said agents could have been more aggressive in accessing Mateen’s social media accounts, including Facebook. But the official noted that in 2013 such checks of online posts were not yet routine or “part of our investigative DNA.”

France Under Attack ... Again

It is very difficult to fault the citizens of an ally when their country is run by fools. The citizens of France deserve better. Their leaders permitted them to be overrun by brutish 7th century animals and now that the savage Muslim population has reached the tipping point, France is paying the price. 

Of course it is Jean-Paul six pack who is suffering the consequences and not the political elites who are protected by armed security. 

For the life of me I cannot understand the false reasoning that would allow an entire continent to commit suicide. As in America's border crisis, this must be fueled by financial considerations. I see how American businesses are using the massive influx of unskilled workers to reduce wages (of course they get tax breaks while the tax payers foot the bill for illegal aliens welfare benefits), but how are Europe's elites profiting from this invasion?

And off I go into another rabbit hole...

Perhaps France is prepping for another bloody revolution, and speaking of bloody revolutions, France is not unacquainted with the notion:

Islam's imposition of a tax on infidels ( jiya) on subject populations is already showing up in British prisons. Parisians may be singing "La Marseillaise" pretty soon in response to Islam's enslavement of unbelievers.

At least 31 people have been killed in an attack on the main airport in Istanbul, a senior Turkish official has told the Associated Press.

Initial indications suggest Islamic State was behind the attack, the official said.

Figures suggested up to 50 people had been killed - however that has now been downgraded.

Initial reports suggest that three men opened fire on the crowd, then detonated themselves when police tried to stop them. Indications are that ISIS was behind the attack.

'Islamic extremist' Omar Mateen, 29, from Florida, shoots dead at least 50 at Florida gay club after bursting in 'wearing a suicide vest' and taking hostages - injuring a further 53 - before he is killed.

Are We Looking At Another Benghazi?

Marine reinforcements are being sent to the US Embassy in Baghdad. I hope there are minefields and concealed machine guns surrounding the embassy.

The U.S. military has sent a platoon of Marines to bolster security at the U.S. Embassy in Baghdad following recent protests led by firebrand Shiite cleric Muqtada al-Sadr.

Twenty-five U.S. Marine infantrymen arrived late Thursday night, a U.S. defense official told Fox News.

The move comes amid the Sadr-led protests against the rule of Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi, which escalated last weekend with protesters storming the Green Zone in Baghdad where the embassy is located.

[...]A U.S. Marine rifle company of more than 150 Marines, in addition to private security contractors, has been protecting the U.S. Embassy in Baghdad and will continue to do so.

I hate to even speculate about this, but with SecState Kerry leading the show I do not have any confidence that our people will be protected at any cost.

The lawyer who represented one of the idiots killed by police in Garland, TX, in a prior arrest was shocked to earn that her client had been killed while committing an act of terrorism. She had this to say:

The attorney who once defended one of two men who opened fire at a “Draw Muhammad” event in Texas on Sunday says she was “shocked” to learn that he was involved in the attack. She says she has represented a number of people charged with terrorism-related crimes. Some of them are the “worst of the worst,” but Elton Simpson was “one of the good ones,” she said.

“He was always respectful to me and my staff—did everything he was supposed to do,” attorney Kristina Sitton told Vocativ.

With a police round between his eyes, now he's a good one.

It amazes me how the media embraces provocative art like Serrano's "Piss Christ" or Mapplethrope's picture of some guy with a bullwhip stuck up his ass, but blows a gasket when Islam receives the same treatment.

John Lennon's Glasses

John Lennon is dead, killed almost thirty-five years ago by a mentally unbalanced man who to this day is incarcerated. He will most likely remain so for the rest of his life. He is here at the Wende Correctional Facility in Alden, NY, about eight miles east of Buffalo.

I can understand Ms. Ono's preoccupation with gun violence. But it is on the wan in the US since her husband was killed. If she is so concerned about the death of innocents, perhaps she should change her focus.

Today the threat world-wide is different. Thousands and thousands of people have died at the hands of Muslim terrorists. This murder and mayhem continues unabated throughout the Middle East and we are witnessing the spread of this madness to our own shores in the form of honor killings. 

I will not reproduce the bloody Muslim terror images that assault our senses daily, they are far more disturbing than a pair of hippy glasses smeared with blood. Yet liberals refuse to acknowledge the true dangers of our world for we are under attack by an irrational religion, a mentally and morally unbalanced system of worship that glorifies horrific murder in the name of a demon moon god and his deranged prophet.

But getting back to Yoko and her spattered eye wear cry for gun control: 

1. In 1980, the year John Lennon was murdered, there were 23,040 murders in the US. 
2. By 2013 this number had fallen to 14,196, a decrease of 38%. 
3. While the US population during this time had increased by 40%, the murder rate had fallen by 56%, from 10.2 per 100,000 to 4.5 per 100,000. 

What has happened to the murder rate for Islamic terrorists over the last thirty-five years? Anyone want to hazard a guess? Are they all nut cases like Chapman? Studies indicate otherwise.

Enough said, but there's an interesting study from the Bureau of Justice Assistance on homicide trends in the US available here for viewing. Here is a sample.

 Gun homicides by persons age 18 to 24 peaked at about 8,600 in 1993 then declined to about 5,300 in 2008. The number of gun homicides in 2008 was still higher than the number of gun homicides in the early and mid-1980s.
 Gun homicides involving adult offenders age 25 or older declined from over 10,000 in 1980 to 4,660 in 1999, and increased since then to 5,460 in 2008.
 The sharp increase in homicides from the mid-1980s through the early 1990s, and much of the subsequent decline, is attributable to gun violence by teens and young adults.

This goes back to parenting or the lack thereof inherent in a welfare state.

The jury has recommended that the mass murderer of Fort Hood receive the death penalty.

Fort Hood, Texas (CNN) -- A military jury on Wednesday recommended the death penalty for convicted Fort Hood shooter Maj. Nidal Hasan, for the 2009 massacre on post that left 13 people dead and 32 others wounded.

The 13-member panel spent less than two hours deliberating privately, and the president -- or forewoman-- announced the finding in open court with a clear voice, that Hasan "be put to death."

The convicted killer said nothing as the decision was announced, and had appeared emotionless earlier in the morning when dramatic closing arguments in the sentencing phase were held without his participation.

I'm wondering if the jury's recommendation carries the same weight as Capt. Barbossa's pirate's code "guidelines" in Pirates of the Caribbean. In any event, this sonofabitch may outlive most of us during the appeal process.

Give Major Hasan What He Wants

Army Maj. Nidal Hasan was convicted Friday in the 2009 shooting rampage at Fort Hood, a shocking assault against American troops at home by one of their own who said he opened fire on fellow soldiers to protect Muslim insurgents abroad.

A jury of 13 high-ranking military officers reached a unanimous guilty verdict on all charges — 13 counts of premeditated murder and 32 counts of attempted premeditated murder — in about seven hours. Hasan is now eligible for the death penalty.

Hasan had no visible reaction as the verdict was read. After the jury and Hasan left the courtroom, some victims who survived the shooting and family members began to cry.

The guy wants this. He plans on this. He expects to receive a reward for this, his wholly acceptable act of savage worship to a heathen idol.

The US Army should accommodate Maj. Hasan's wish as soon as possible. Nothing barbaric, a simple firing squad will suffice. Aim for the heart, get it over quickly. Remand his remains to his family and allow them to handle the funeral arrangements in peace.

What will never be completely understood about Hasan's murderous activities is his shock at what transpires as soon as his soul has shucked off his mortal coil. He expects a glorious welcome to Paradise. Instead, he will experience what countless billions have already received, an eternity of absolute, utter terror, condemnation, hopelessness and regret.

But what is hell? Is it flames? Darkness? Nothingness? I found this interesting reference.

Several years ago a book was published, entitled Beyond Death's Door by Dr. Maurice Rawlings. Dr. Rawlings, a specialist in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease, resuscitated many people who had been clinically dead. Dr. Rawlings, a devout atheist, "considered all religion "hocus-pocus" and death nothing more than a painless extinction". But something happened in 1977 that brought a dramatic change in the life of Dr. Rawlings! He was resuscitating a man, terrified and screaming — descending down into the flames of hell:

"Each time he regained heartbeat and respiration, the patient screamed, "I am in hell!" He was terrified and pleaded with me to help him. I was scared to death. . . Then I noticed a genuinely alarmed look on his face. He had a terrified look worse than the expression seen in death! This patient had a grotesque grimace expressing sheer horror! His pupils were dilated, and he was perspiring and trembling — he looked as if his hair was "on end."

Then still another strange thing happened. He said,"Don't you understand? I am in hell. . . Don't let me go back to hell!" . . .the man was serious, and it finally occurred to me that he was indeed in trouble. He was in a panic like I had never seen before."

Egypt May Outlaw Muslim Brotherhood

The Muslim brotherhood has always had a rocky relationship with the Egyptian military. And since the Brothers won the last election, it has gotten worse... much worse.

Our current government loves to deal with terrorists by giving them what they want.

The Egyptian military isn't buying it.

CAIRO (AP) - Egyptian authorities are considering disbanding the Muslim Brotherhood group, a government spokesman said Saturday, once again outlawing a group that held the pinnacle of government power just more than a month earlier.

The announcement comes after security forces broke up two sit-in protests this week by those calling for the reinstatement of President Mohammed Morsi, a Brotherhood leader deposed in a July 3 coup. The clashes killed more than 600 people that day and sparked protests and violence that killed 173 people Friday alone.

Cabinet spokesman Sherif Shawki said that Prime Minister Hazem el-Beblawi, who leads the military-backed government, assigned the Ministry of Social Solidarity to study the legal possibilities of dissolving the group. He didn't elaborate.

[...]The fundamentalist group has been banned for most of its 80-year history and repeatedly subjected to crackdowns under Mubarak's rule. While sometimes tolerated and its leaders part of the political process, members regularly faced long bouts of imprisonment and arbitrary detentions.

Since the Brotherhood came to prominence after the last election, Egypt has been embroiled in social upheaval. Since the so called Arab Spring, the world has witnessed the same violence propagated by Islamic terrorists in Libya, Syria and Tunisia. They murdered our ambassador in Benghazi and we still have yet to hear the full story behind it.

The Obama administration has turned a blind eye to this. Egyptian generals have not, and they have good reason to intervene.

One in five Egyptians live in poverty in a country where the estimated per-capita income was $6,200 last year, according to the CIA's The World Factbook.

And tourism, which provides jobs to 2 million Egyptians, represents 11% of the nation's economic output. In 2009, it brought in $10.8 billion, according to Egyptian Tourism Ministry figures.

In 2010, 15 million tourists traveled to Egypt, 362,000 of them from the U.S., according to the Egyptian Tourist Authority.

The unemployment rate for Egyptians aged 15 to 24 is almost 25%. Almost 50% of their GDP is based on services and much of that is dependent upon maintaining a healthy tourism traffic.

Last year the Egyptian government spent over $27 billion more than it took in. It's deficit is 11% of its GDP and inflation is more than three times that of the US. Their largest trading partner is China. Tourism is their major source of  foreign currency.

IMHO, the Egyptian military is very concerned about the Muslim Brotherhood doing more than just expressing their insane hatred of Israel. As a neighbor of Israel, I believe that the generals are thinking that their peaceful relationship with their powerful neighbor is about to end. And that would be disastrous for a nation that is already on very shaky economic grounds. They respect the prowess of the IDF and obviously have no respect for American leadership nor for our leader.

Tourism is absolutely vital to Egypt and radical Islam is antithetical to tourism. Plus they have no desire to get their asses handed to them when Israel responds to Islamofacist provocations that are sure to come.

Do the math. Historically, killing a few thousand Muslims never seemed to bother Muslims. They do it all the time.
