Who’s Funding the Obamacare Campaign?

Michelle Malkin answers this question, and you'll never guess who's lobbying for the dismantling of private medicine.
"MoveOn, of course, is the recreational political vehicle of radical liberal sugar daddy George Soros. The magnate’s financial fingerprints are all over the HCAN coalition, which includes MoveOn, the action fund of the Center for American Progress (a Soros think tank) and the Campaign for America’s Future (a pro-welfare state lobbying outfit)."
If you believe the White House, there are 30 million Americans who support a government health care takeover. But if you look at the funding behind the Obamacare campaign, it’s the same few leftist billionaires, union bosses and partisan community organizers pushing the socialized medicine agenda. Let’s connect the dots.

On Thursday, a national "grassroots" coalition called Health Care for America Now (HCAN) will march on Capitol Hill to demand universal health care. The ground troops won’t have to march very far. HCAN, you see, is no heartland network. It is headquartered at 1825 K St. in Washington, D.C. — smack dab in the middle of Beltway lobby land.

In fact, 1825 K St. is Ground Zero for a plethora of "progressive" groups subsidized by anti-war, anti-Republican, Big Nanny special interests. Around Washington, the office complex is known as "The Other K Street." The Washington Post noted in 2007 that "its most prominent ten-ants form an abbreviated who’s who of well-funded allies of the Democratic Party. Big money from unions such as the Service Employees International Union (SEIU) and the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees, as well as the Internet-fueled MoveOn, has provided groups like those at 1825 K Street the wherewithal to mount huge campaigns." When you follow the money (where the money coming from to buy the votes and where it will be going after legislation has passed), you can determine the why and occasionally the how of government programs.

Many poor and desperate folks = a populace clamoring for "free" healthcare.

The ugly truth is that the Democrats/Socialists want a national collapse.

ObamaCare is the latest bunko scam of the late Baby Boomers (born in the 1960's)to keep their ease and comfort rolling along at the expense of those younger.

It remains a mystery to me why the 18 to 34 demographic voted so heavily for the kind of authoritarianism that will make them less free and less prosperous.

There's some logic in cutting the old loose - we're the most asset-heavy demo in the nation; every dollar not means-tested by Medicare is outright theft from the young. Moreover, the sooner you young fools go after the pampered clods of AARP, the better.

Why? Because we/they vote, and no matter what geriatric rationing is imposed by the health Nazis, it won't be enough to improve the care the young receive.

You're screwed.

I checked Rasmussen and found that the public is about evenly divided on this issue. That is because most people believe that they will not lose their health coverage. This saddens and worries me. I fear these dolts will ruin our country with their asinine social experiments. Health Care as we know it will not be able to be reinstated after it has been ruined. I already know of a hospital ceo who has fled to Australia with his family. Doctors will go where they can earn the highest salary. Doctors in socialist countries make very little. This causes Brain Drain, also known as human capital flight.

The idiots in our country who think that free health care for all is going to improve things will learn otherwise, I have no doubt. I just don't want to be part of that.

Opie, unless you're gonna relocate to Wagga Wagga, we expect you to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with us in this fight.

I believe we can win.

Part of the scariness is that there is no place to go. Check my blog for the video of Yuri Bezmenov. Use the search box at the top to make it easy. This ex commie talks chillingly of what the plan is for America and how there really is no better place in the world than America. I don't see running unless it becomes a matter of protecting my little ones from falling bombs and shrapnel.

Thanks, Opie. I'm posting a link to it in the morning. Whew, that's sobering stuff.

For bombs, bullets and shrapnel, you call guys like me and mine. If it comes to that, we're your guys.

If I have to hear one more time about how no one is going to lose their doctor....I will flipping scream.

Yes, the healthcare system is broken but the this system is not going work. It will cost the taxpayers billions. Then people will just complain about it, it won't be enough, then they'll scream that they want quality health care! Too many lawsuits, they'll scream, I want the doctor that treats my lawyer! Of course the lawyer will be able to afford to pay for his own medical coverage. There will be a division between those that can pay for it themselves and everyone else.

Ranter, you nailed it. I want the government out of my life.
